    Hi everyone,

I’m glad you’ve joined us for the class.

To start the class out, please introduce yourself below. That will give you a chance to be part of this group and learn how the forums work.

    Tell us the following:

    1. Name?

    2. How many scripts you’ve written?

    3. What you hope to get out of the class?

    4. Something unique, special, strange or unusual about you?

We look forward to working with you all!

Hi. My name is Mary Andrews. This is my first script rewrite and hope to be able to more aptly apply all the things I’ve gathered from books, online sources, FCF’s etc to improve what I have into what it can become.

I have an ongoing five book science fiction series published and have been told that if I could learn to write its pilot, I might have enough value to become a contributor to the Netflix science fiction series I would like to properly re-pitch.

I am very excited to be taking this class and look forward to working with all of you. Thanks.

Hi. My name is Karen Griffin. I’ve had a Screenwriting coach in the past; however, I’ve only written drafts…nothing final. I hope to get a great product/script from this class.

I like Hal’s strategic/benchmark approach to screenwriting in that I apply various strategies to my own day job (I’m basically a company collector).

I don’t consider myself status quo.

1 completed; several in the works

    3. What you hope to get out of the class?

    Better scripts, faster writing time

    4. Something unique, special, strange or unusual about you?

I have a false memory of being accosted by a robot deer when I was a child that no one can explain.

Hi, my name is Sandra Nelles and I have written 3 features and 1 TV pilot. From this class I hope to find a better way to complete a rewrite that I have been working on. Something unique about me is that I once sat next to a world famous violinist on a flight.

We are award winning children’s book authors praised by actresses Jennifer Garner and Mary Louise Parker, and creators of Graphic Novels including “Power Poodle and Danger Dog” coming Fall 2021 thru Hero Initiative.

A fun fact about us is that we often sculpt our book characters in porcelain to give us a better feel for them. We also have a Kooikerhondje pet, please google if you want to see a very cute dog!

    1. Name? Elliott Williams

    2. How many scripts you’ve written? I’ve written 3 features, 3 TV Pilots and two short films

    3. What you hope to get out of the class?

Coming up with a consistent process for rewrites to deliver on my concepts. Feeling more confident doing rewrites without a writing partner.

    4. Something unique, special, strange or unusual about you?

I’m a nice guy that likes to meet people and laugh. I am a producer as well, who seems to be good with notes, but I have a little anxiety when I write.

I like to write horror, drama and sci-fi, but I generally like everything.

Pro series, MSC 4, and I’ve written 9 features, one of which was bought and produced, and was on the development team for the Bingeworthy classes. I’ve written nine features and three TV series.

I hope to get faster and better at rewrites.

I had a manager, but fired her.
