Mary’s Marketing Campaign
What I learned doing this assignment is that marketing campaigns can make your career provided you have great scripts.
Choice of marketing campaign to start with: #6 – Marketing to Producers
1. I will continue to elevate my writing and my pitch.
2. I will send out query letters.
3. I will start sending out QL’s and start meeting producers on my social networks.
4. I will ask for recommendations for producers on my network.
5. After this I will continue to take other steps provided in this lesson!

Gordon’s Marketing Strategies
Learned: Above all else confidence in pitching is significantly elevated. Thank you.
The employed Strategies include No. 14 (contests) and No. 15 (contacting lower level producers). I also contacted an upper level producer (fr. Gone in 60 Seconds).
Although contest quarter-final results are not yet published (for PAGE or Nicholl) there is positive traction from the other two strategies where scripts are requested from two, including one who likes my A-List suggestions. These producers know who’s looking for work and how they are motivated based on who might choose to direct the project.

Nancy Lucas Marketing Campaign
What I learned in this assignment is to focus on what will work BEST for MYSELF. It is good to know which first step I want to take- but I am also sketching out my back-up plan, or to know where I am going next.
This is truly an excellent course—Thank you for offering this. This gives me a fresh way to look at my marketing as it relates to my WRITING. To know the most interesting things and the most critical points. Because these must be in the writing first—to know how it can all be in a successful pitch!
I believe my marketing goal is to get an Agent. But this will take steps beforehand. I will need to create my social platform, as well as my webpage or LinkedIn platform. I will go over my writing to make sure it is the best it can be, and once I am confident- I will attend Pitchfests, or conferences to meet and network with persons that I believe can either represent me—or, if given the opportunity, I would go straight to the Producer.
