Deleted UserMay 19, 2022 at 8:30 pmI sure would. I have such a time trying to find partners. By the time I realize I need one, they are all taken. lol. Thanks, karen

Well, I think then we were meant to work together. I apologize, have been out of town all day, so just seeing this. Just got back. I think Hal suggested exchanging phone numbers and talking, and need to figure out best way for feedback.

Hello – I don’t see everyone’s Day 1 assignment yet. Are you posted elsewhere? I’d like to read through and see what everyone’s doing and then ask about partners. Is that ok? Dia
Also, is anyone interested in partnering up on this: (logline)
“Plans to transform a wildlife sanctuary into a Naturalist Hunting Lodge with his best mate, are derailed when a wealthy Big Game Hunter falls hard for the enemy, a wildlife conservationist, and faces off with his sadistic father in a final match. He must choose between their love, his best mate, and abandoning his family legacy and life he’d planned.”

Hi, I think I posted my request for Judith Watson on the wrong page! I’d still like to work with you, if you’re available. Or anyone else dealing with family relations gone bad?
-
Hi Susan, Yes, let’s partner. got your message earlier. Am looking to your structure. best, Judith
-
Hi Judith! Great! I left you my email on the other page. I think it might an easier way to communicate? It’s susanjsilver@yahoo.com. I’m still interested in being your partner!

Oops, looks like you are partnered with Judith, correct?
-
Hi Althea, Yeah, that just happened this morning! But, as long as everyone is covered, I’d be happy to have two feedback partners. 🙂 I really liked your idea!
-
Hi, I’m not sure how to tell if everyone has a partner, but if you’re up for the work, I’m in!
-
I’m all in! I’m not sure how to tell either! Of course, I wouldn’t want to deprive anyone who ends up stranded, so I suppose we could play it by ear? But, meanwhile, we could get started, if you’d like. 🙂 You can reach me at susanjsilver@yahoo.com.

Anyone need a partner?? I’m available. Thanks! Carol

Hello Carol, I’m working with Karen Crider, but happy to work with additional writers. In last class we had a solid group and it really helped. If you still need a partner please let me know. Best,
Dia

-
go to the day 1 assignments. All the One Pages and Loglines are there. I did notice that some people haven’t posted yet though.

Cheryl – what is the best way for partners to work together? Is there a private message place we can shoot comments back and forth?? I noticed a couple of people were editing back and forth in the feed, but that doesn’t seem efficient. Not sure where to go.

Deleted UserMay 20, 2022 at 3:39 amDiana, I think the phone works best. I have friends around the country who are screenwriters; we keep up all the time through phone calls. My number is: 218-821-3520.( I tried to connect with another writer, but he never got back with me.) I’m glad we are connecting. Where do we find the course materials? I can’t get into the SU forums outside of this course. Thanks.
-
Hey Karen – agreed – phone is good. I’m in Los Angeles. 818-741-0740. Where are you located? I’m not sure if you can get anything unless you are logged into the SU site. The course materials are all on under the tab “your screenwriting classes” that opens a window and then you click on the photo on the right which opens another one where you click ‘continue’. let me know what time zone your in and we’ll arrange to talk. In the meantime, I’ll review your one page and give you any suggestions I think may help. I really like your story.
Have you found my one page and logline?

Benito Selim has a horror concept I like. If he is not available, anyone who is writing horror, or just likes zombies and vampires would be good.
-
Hi Leo, I am writing a thriller. Willing to sign up as partners. best, Judith

Deleted UserMay 21, 2022 at 1:30 amHi Diana, no I have not found your critiques. I just had a new drive put on my computer, but I still am having my share of grief with it. It’s better and faster, but I still have to fight my way through Cyberspace one byte at a time. lol. I get to one page and the other will not return. But I am used to this. Got any advice? Karen

Deleted UserMay 21, 2022 at 9:19 amHi Diana, as you can see, I am an early riser. When I hit: your screenwriting classes, it shows a variety of classes and I have to fight my way upstream to find the right one. Then, after I find the right class, I find myself in an area that keeps yelling: go back and do the previous lesson. I did post on your lesson. I cannot find if you posted on mine. Thanks, I am working critique-less. Something I do all the time. lol. I will call you. Maybe, the phone will work better… love technology. Thanks.

Thank you <b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;”>George Strakosch, I posted some thoughts on your One page under assignment 2 (don’t know why I thought it was assignment 2). If it works better to connect in real time, this is my email address heather13hood@gmail.com
