What I learned for this lesson – Set Your Script up for Success , is I could rewrite and restructure most of my Act 2 and yet still maintain the storyline while improving the over all script.

I expanded Victoria’s arc to go from the submissive exwife, to conning the billionaire boyfriend, to manipulating both plus the Mexican Gangsters to save the kidnapped children, sell her house in foreclosure for three-times it’s worth, and snaking away a few hundred million$$$ from her boyfriend, and find out where her daughter is being held…
Next will be to build Mayor’s arc with involvement with the underlying human trafficking to the point where in the end he takes credit for capturing the serial killer Sheriff Mike and the kidnapping billionaire who both turned up dead in a coffee shop, saving the kidnapped children. And putting the chase on the human trafficking which he plans to destroy once he is voted in as the new state governor (The big PROFOUND MOMENT as he is the kingpin of the trafficking ring)
All of the above is going on below the main story of the violent battle between Sheriff Mike’s pursuit of the kidnappers, being accused of killing off his suspects, and billionaire kidnapper Bob’s crafty coverings.
