KZ’s Mysteries and Open Loops
What I learned from this assignment is… not to hold back on the pilot, which is the most important piece of the series. Because if readers and audiences aren’t compelled by the pilot, then they won’t look any further.
I moved the intrigue surrounding the Antagonist (whose name has been changed to Lorn) and the Russians to the pilot. This caused me to lose an episode, so now I’m down to 9.

What I learned doing this assignment: Returning to this exercise, I found that even though I had plenty of questions about the past and future built into Lesson 6, it helped to re-state moments as mysteries and open loops.

Cat Miggs Open Loops and Mysteries
What I learned doing this assignment is it took me to now, to realize mystery is associated with the past and open loop is associated with the future. I realized how I have built in both, so now going through each act and improving both.
Overall:
Main Mystery: How is Susan the Key to saving the forest?
Sub-Mysteries:
Susan connection to Wilma the Tree
Susan connection to the Shadow
Susan connection to magic
What is Susan real past
Main Open Loop: With Susan new magical abilities will it be enough?
Sub-Open Loops:
Will she be able to control her magic?
Will she use it for good or evil?
Will Susan be responsible with her magic?
