John Patrick Hallar’s First Three Decisions
What I learned doing this assignment? Along with the core Profound Truth within a story, it’s to also consider and look into my scripts from the perspective of the audiences reaction, journey.
- What is your profound truth? Family bonds and love are deeper AND STRONGER than any other.
- What is the change your movie will cause with an audience? Inspiration for Reconciliation:
- The profound truth conveyed in the script could inspire the audience to consider reconciliation and forgiveness within their own families, recognizing the potential for healing and growth that comes from acknowledging the strength of love and familial bonds.
- What is your Entertainment Vehicle that you will tell this story through? The As-It-Happened Conflict.

4. What I learned in this assignment is that I’m not sure I’m clear on what my message of change is, and I’m looking for clarity. I think I found it in this assignment…for now…
- What is your profound truth? Regardless of religion or beliefs, love is the one thing worth fighting for.
- What is the change your movie will cause with an audience? Change how people are brainwashed by belief systems to fight for something not worthy of their effort.
- What is your Entertainment Vehicle that you will tell this story through? Romcom, but sounds intense for a romcom lol!
