Act I. Beat Sheet, Turning Point, The Transformative Journey begins
1. Eddy is painting dark
2. Eddy takes a Japanese short sword and stabs the painting
3. Grabs bunch of his paintings takes them to the yard sets them on fire.
4. His wife Maddy wakes up to the smell of smoke
5. She checks Smart-Home-Cameras no Eddy’s art studio is not on fire, but the long Samurai sword and Tai chi sword are on the wall, the short sword is missing. As she plays with the image, it is laid on table facing Eddy’s stomach. She looks through the window a big fire blazes Eddy standing by with a hose.
6. What are you doing? She asks. Eddy:“ let those suckers burn. Everything I touch turn to shit.” “You are having an exhibition tonight.” “Fuck it.”
7. From the bedroom Maddy calls Josie, her therapist. Eddy is in deep depression and melt down. The the short sword is missing.
8. Josie finds out that Eddy has lost interest in his gallery opening night and has suicidal behavior refuses to accept help. She wants to call, but Eddy would not answer. She advises Maddy to hide the short knife.
9. But Justin, the son, that Eddy feels guilty for ignoring while focused on his art, he is likely to answer.
10. Maddy calls Justin who is back from rafting and he says he found his father in the river water and Kate filmed it. Maddy ”no time for that. He is going through melt down do something. I must meet Abram who is in from Europe and is going back AM tomorrow. Do something.”
11. Justing: What you want me to do?
12. Get your dad off the track he is on, before you see him in a box in a funeral home. She hangs up. She runs to the studio takes the sword hides it under the bed and rushes to meet Abram, her boss and the CEO.
13. Eddie consults with his girlfriend, Kate, her Mother Sandra before calls Eddy
14. Eddy’s cell phone rings, he has returned to the studio, the short sword is missing he has picks up the long sword, it is in front him and is unbuttoning his shirt.
15. Fire trucks siren and big knock on the door. Eddy lays down the sword answers the door satisfies the firemen they leave.
16. Comes back ready to proceed the cell phone rings Justin.
17. Dad come to LA. “Sorry son, can’t” “Can’t? You are always into your art we never spent time. Now come and meet my finance. And soon you be a grand dad. He makes Eddy feel guilty.
18. Eddy takes the bait and decides later he will find the short sword to stab himself and do this Seppuku the right way.
19. Act I. Turning Point. Eddy gets plane ticket to LA calls for a cab to O’Hare Chicago airport.
Act II. in LA, Begins next with Hal ‘s blessings. Hey, did I say I love you guys, learning a ton, thank you. We appreciate you.
