Mike Finishing Act 3
My Vision is to write an original screenplay, make a couple of calls to pitch it, to start a bidding war.
Upon reading the tip in this lesson, I found myself not doing what it mentions (editing and wordsmithing), but I expanded some of the scenes. I feel this is okay because I got away from writing pages, like finishing 4 to 5 pages in two days. I have moved to writing scenes. If you think about it, I had 48 scenes in my outline; if I wrote 2 scenes daily, I would be finished in 24 days.

ET’s Start of Act IV Draft
Vision: To be recognized for my best work, including with money.
I’ve written so much this week, I’m dizzy with creative juices. I like writing fast, counting on returning: that’s a great combo. (I wrote music the same way, duh — so I do already know how to do this, and now with writing.)
Bravo, bravo, me. -
Pat Finished Act 3
My vision is to have fun completing this class with a contest-winning script that will establish me as an outrageous and original writer.
What I learned is that I continue to enjoy expanding my outline into scenes and that my characters continue to surprise me with their dialogue. I’m seeing their personalities come to life. Although I know that I’ll be tweaking, editing and possibly rearranging scenes in the next rewrite, I wouldn’t get to that rewrite without doing a high speed first draft. . -
Margaret’s Finishing Act 3
My Vision: To write profound faith-based screenplays that are produced.
What I learned: I had left out important scenes in my outline – I needed to add them for the flow.
How is it going for me: I finished Act 3! I am at page 70 – a little short but I’m not worried about it. I need to add description in another draft that will bring the page number up. -
Subject: Monica’s Finishing Act 3
VISION: I am a very successful screenwriter who has had multiple movies made.
What I learned from doing this assignment is to keep moving forward writing as fast as I can without going to do any revisions.
Tell us how it is going for you.I’ve finished Act 3. However, I had to combine a couple of scenes because three of them took place in one place. Made a note to investigate once I’m done with the first draft.

Sunil Pappu Finishing Act 3
My Vision: I’m a successful produced writer who specializes in female-led thrillers.
“What I learned from doing this assignment is… to write in time chunks of 15 minutes at a time. I was able to tell myself to just write the scene and move on. I was able to finish my Act 3 writing 6 more pages.

WIM+AI – Module 5 – Lesson 11
Robin’s: Finish up Act 3! Final 6 – 10 pages.
MY VISION: I aim to make my writing flow naturally, like second nature, crafting stories that resonate globally and leave a mark, backed by a supportive team.
What I learned in this lesson, Einstein’s quote works on so many levels. When applied to writing, it hits the mark, especially with this new method of writing.
My process was to close out Act 3 and get ready for the final push. So, I’ve written interesting scenes where my lead is down the rabbit hole, with his investigation, and his addiction. His team has problems, and he’s a hot mess. His adversary has painted him in a corner. Now that’s some forward movement, because yesterday, he wasn’t in such peril.

David Z is Finishing Act 3
Vision:
I am an interesting, dependable, successful writer that people love to work with. What I learned from doing this assignment is just keep moving forward… don’t look back or you’ll turn into a pillar of salt! Even when I just try to get a sense of where I left off I start revising… didn’t I kill this guy off earlier? So I just make a note in the script to check whether or not killing him here is better dramatically or decide if earlier was the better choice…
It’s a learning process… re-learning how to write without the pressure that what I’m writing cannot be changed so needs to be ‘right’ from the start… definitely not true!!

James Finishing Act 3
My Vision: I am a great writer who is recognized by the industry as an exceptional collaborator able to elevate any project into production and have maximum success.
What I learned from doing this assignment is…that writing fast allowed me to get to know my characters better. It may be because I’m not criticizing my work and just allowing them to live on their own. This caused a slight tone shift given I’m at the climax and the end of Act 3. The romantic aspect of the story is taking over the mood. But finishing Act 3 feels good once again.

Terrie Finishing Act 3
What I learned from this assignment is to keep writing.
I haven’t been focused on the assignments, just one writing a certain number of scenes each day. 3 seems to be my max. Depending on other commitments I may only write 1. But even on a busy day I can write one. -
Kathryn's Finishing Act 3
I choose to be a highly creative and energized writer who makes big movies and loves her life working with the most creative people in the world.
Finished all this a while ago but was on the move and too busy to post. It went well, and I loved using writing sprints to power through and keep me mindful of writing at a lower quality than I'm used to.

Jan’s Finishing Act 3
I eventually finished Act 3, not for pressuring myself about being behind. I gave myself kindness in knowing I was trying to write every day, and that I eventually would catch up.
My Vision: I am a talented and strong writer with a unique voice, recognized by the movie industry with multiple screenplays produced.
What I learned from this assignment was being behind does not mean being behind, it means I have a little more work to do, especially moving through the event that altered my life for the foreseeable future

Mary is Finishing Act 3
My vision: I am a leading creator of relatable family-friendly stories with compelling, authentic and unique characters.
Thank you. I tried working in small chunks but did the brainstorming in the afternoon for the next day after I wrote a scene. I’m also celebrating each scene and finding new story aspects-
