Hi everyone, my name is Frances Presley Rice. I have written 26 scripts. From this course, I wish to gain the knowledge and skills needed to create a contained script that is marketable. Something that is unusual about me is the fact that I have independently produced 16 of my scripts.

Hello everyone, I’m Bob Rowen. I’ve got several creative projects in the works, though I haven’t yet finished one that truly captures my vision. Life threw a few health challenges my way, but I’m back in the saddle and ready to push forward. As for something unique about me? I’m a former U.S. Marine Pathfinder, trained in atomic, biological, and chemical warfare, and later, I became a nuclear whistleblower in civilian life. I’m excited to be here, eager to sharpen my skills in writing contained screenplays, and looking forward to collaborating with all of you.

My name is Marni Sullivan. I have written about 20 scripts as I’ve been at this for several years, but only market four of them as the others could still use work. I managed to option a contained thriller earlier this year and I’m looking to repeat that success. (Hopefully, I’ll go a step further and get to production.) Something unusual about me is I got to interview psychopaths in a maximum security prison when I worked as a neuroscientist.

I have completed several screenplays and have taken them through the rewrite process. I also get coverage and use that as a guide as I go through rewrite. -
I’m Vic Valleau. SAG member since 1990’s, member of CA Bar Association and writer of screenplays. I hope to write another
fun and interesting, unique screenplay. -
Hello everyone my name Ace Chapman, prior to discovering ScreenwritingU I wrote about a dozen shitty scripts, after taking classes including the Masterclass, Proseries, WIM, Etc. I’ve written three scripts, all first drafts. This time I hope to go through the entire process and the result is a script I feel excited to move forward with.
Currently I’m a History/Ghost Tour Guide and some of the experiences have resulted in a high concept that I speak of during my tours.
Oh and I’ve found three dead bodies in my lifetime (1976, 1977, 1996)We look forward to working with you all!

Hi everyone! My name is Gina Coviello, and even though I’ve been at this for almost 2 decades, I’ve only finished three scripts, and they definitely need some editing. I do have about a dozen others started, and I’m determined that this is the year that I do something with them. By taking this class, I hope to add some new skills to the many other ones I’ve learned in the ProSeries and other ScreenwritingU classes, and in the end have a couple of contained scripts in my arsenal. Also, something unique about me? When I was younger, I used to sing and play guitar in a metal band, and I’ve written a couple hundred songs. Now I’ve got to get off my keister and work on writing that many screenplays! 🙂

Hi, everyone, my name is Michale [pronounced like Michael] (Micki) Hess.
I have written about ten scripts.
To put my story in a contained area to learn how to make one room have over thousands ways of being unique.
The unique thing about me is:
I self-taught to play the mandolin and sing bluegrass songs. I sang a song so fast on a dare and broke three guitar strings and two banjo strings.I won! I have met Ernest Tubb and his ban
My mandolin was unfortunately destroyed by my cousin. -
My Name is David Kandel. I have written three scripts and numerous comedy sketches. I hope to polish the quality of my writing and elevate the marketability of my work. I enjoy community theatre and have acted in several productions over the last few years: “Boolie” in Driving Miss Daisy, “Adolph Freitag” in The Last Night of Ballyhoo, and “Professor Adolph Metz” in The Man Who Came To Dinner.

Hi all, I’m Karyn L. I have written several 1st drafts and need to take it to a higher level. I get stuck. I’ve had some personal demands that have derailed my progress. So I have had a few “false starts” down rabbit holes. This is my opportunity to get back on track and complete a bankable project. I’m allergic to over 20 antibiotics–don’t ask me how I know. I look forward to sharing this journey with y’all.

Hello fellow screenwriters!
My name is Leona Heraty. I’ve written three scripts: two are horror comedies and one is a thriller comedy. In this class, I would love to learn how to write a high concept script that’s low budget, in one location, with very few characters. I’ve taken many ScreenwritingU courses, and I love them all! Something that’s interesting about me: I love cheezy sci-fi/creature feature movies from the 1950s, such as Creature from the Black Lagoon, IT Came from Outer Space, and many more! They’re so much fun for the whole family!

Hi All! I’m Jo Nickel and I’m getting a late start with this class. First, I had a battery of medical tests then computer gremlins attacked both computers so had the techs at my house for 2 days. I’m up and running at this point so I am looking forward to this class. I live in the Sandhills area of Nebraska. I have been a cattle rancher, an executive human services administrator, and a Speech, drama and English teacher and professor. I have written 5 screenplays that have merit, however I have so many ideas sometimes I find it difficult to narrow the focus. I believe this class may help me with that as well as being a challenge for the ole cobwebs and fun at the same time.

Hi, I[m Pat Fitzgerald
I’ve completed three scripts, have one waiting in the wings for me to do some major rewrites and am currently completing another in the WIM+AI class.
I hope to learn new skills in this class that will enable me to be successful at writing a contained script.
Usual about me? After years of full-time care-taking a family member, I thought my creativity was forever lost and would never return to me. I’m happy to say that creativity found me again and I am having a blast writing screenplays. -
Hi everyone,
My name is Anna. I am late getting on this, because I wasn’t getting the lessons or access to the course – I didn’t even know we were supposed to be doing lessons! I have written several scripts, some have promise if I rework the structure, but there is only one I am marketing so far, which I finished after doing the WIM course, and it’s the only one with a good structure. I now have several ideas for a contained script, one of which I hope to create during and after this course.
Unusual about me – hmmm…I am just a little bit ‘off’ to be a bit of an oddball, not enough to have any glaringly interesting…well, OK, in different phases in my life, I have lived in houseboats, caves, treehouse, Himalayan huts, a beachy cove, tents, bushes (I got poison oak that time), communal arrangements (never again), and the usual assortment of generic houses and apartments, though I am sure I’ve missed a few.
