What I learned doing this assignment is to design the 5 seasons’ summary and find what links the whole series together. I discovered that my project is now a variation on love seen by different cultures and different perspectives.

Season 1 : British mind – In 1819, Emily, an archdeacon’s daughter and anonymous romance novelist, craves independence, resisting societal pressure to marry within the church.
