Marcus’ Visually Appealing Bible
I learned the value of proper artwork in a pitch bible.
I only used one picture, though.
I am VERY INTERESTED in having classmates critique my pitch bible. PLEASE contact me if you are at all interested. And of course, I’ll be HAPPY to look at yours for you!
I’ve been following the class’ work in the forum and I think there’s some very cool ideas there. I’d really be interested in reading other bibles. I’ve been a member of a screenplay critique group for several years. I know how to critique and I know how to take criticism. Please don’t be shy! This is the purpose of this forum.

Phyllis’ Visually Appealing Bible
I found a number of pictures to convey aspects of the concept, plot and characters, but I was not satisfied that I had the visual logline.
From this assignment, I learned that finding the pictures with enough open space for copy that still conveyed my tone was a difficult task. I would probably go for professional help in creating a pitch deck derived from my pitch bible.

Kim’s Visually Appealing Bible
What I learned from this assignment is that it’s okay to add visual elements to help your Pitch Bible stand out. In sending out materials for literary agents and book publishers, this is a huge no-no, so I was excited to see I could add artistic details to further strengthen my pitch materials. I don’t have the digital talent (or the money) to make it as amazing as the example, but I like the idea of creating more intrigue through the design.

Diana’s Visually Appealing Pitch Bible
What I learned: I enjoyed
listening to Drew’s interview and got some really great ideas. It gave me some
ideas for images for my own pitch bible. It also showed me that I need to
condense my bible even more. I’m torn between just turning in text vs. turning
in something like what Drew did. If a visual bible gives me an edge over
others, it would definitely be worth the cost. I certainly want to get this
show produced. Once I have a finalized version of my pitch bible, I might reach
out to Drew for assistance. In the interim, I would love to exchange with others on my current Pitch Bible to see what others are doing and to get some feedback on my show. -
I lost the previous message so I write it again here.
Marie’s visually Appealing Bible
I learned a lot, listening to the interview, reading the lecture and looking for pictures. It shows that my bible could be shorter and I don’t find pictures that match my story so I will have to use photoshop (hopefully over the week-end). I will be happy to exchange as soon as I am ready. How do we contact each other for exchange?
