Lois Finished Wordsmithing!
Reading backwards let me find two things:
I noticed that I had forgotten to have the customer take her purchases when she left the store.
A piece of dialogue that was in my head every time I read it forward, actually was not on the page. Reading backwards let me see the gap. So now it’s on the page.

Lisa Finished word smithing!
What I learned doing this assignment is that you catch new mistakes you didn’t see before when you read it out loud.
I was able to make some more edits and it took some time to do all these steps, but it feels great to know that this Pilot is complete!
I had the word “walks” in there so many times, so it made a big difference to go through and change it to other words and made my script have the tone I desired more and made my characters personalities show a little more.

WORDSMITHING
what a great way to scan ones written work with these set of outlines. I now want to use this method to check my other screenplays!
Because my BWTV is an historical piece, I had to particularly pay attention to common use of language and eliminate them.
the next major one was common words such as “walks” where I found so many other ways of changing this to more appropriate descriptions.
My page count is a little short of what I want, but I am ready to exchange. Please email me at ozmaidprod@bigpond.com
May I also send my Pitch Bible as I need someone to also look at editing down the 5 seasons (it is currently too wordy). THANKS in advance
