Christina Parker – Day 17 Description

What I learned about this assignment was not much because I already knew it. I did go through the description and asked the questions; I added more meaning in a few places, tightened up sentences and made the read very compelling.

Looking at the last lesson I noticed it doesn’t have any notes on wordsmithing but I’m going to go backwards through my script and do that now.

I would appreciate some feedback It’s awfully lonely in this course.

Hi, Cheryl.

I’ll volunteer to read/critique your script as our last assignment if you’ll do the same for mine. My script is a comedy called Loving Liberty.

When the Statue of Liberty comes to life as a normal woman to stop her exploitation by an anti-immigration campaign, a refugee sculptor struggles to help her prevail as she confronts deportation, a mental ward, Homeland Security, as well as being human. Most challenging, they fall in love.

I’ve only been refining Act One all these weeks. I am a complete beginner so I’ve had a lot to learn. It’s at a point where only a few things are missing but needs also to be leveled up. I have 2 people looking it over for criticism. I wasn’t sure if I should just post Act One. I now have to rewrite Act Two and Act Three to improve them with what I have learned while writing Act One. I’m hoping they will flow easier because of what I have created in Act One.
