THRILLER Day 3 Creating world/characters with MIS
What I learned is: The model is forcing me to alter my story – or at least what I thought the story was going to be – because what I had wasn’t a thriller.
THE BIG MYSTERY
Why does an eleven year old boy commit suicide and his parents indulge in murder/suicide due to the shame.
THE BIG INTRIGUE
The preacher is procuring kids for a pedophile organization.
The BIG SUSPENSE
The more our hero uncovers, the more dangerous it becomes for her.
The intriguing world:
The underground world of religious hypocrisy, cover-ups and fund raising for the church by means of providing children as play things for the rich and famous.
HERO: Evelyn Gonzalez
Mystery: Why was she put in an asylum? Why does she keep having flashbacks.
Intrigue: Is she sane or deluded?
Suspense: Will she be killed for getting too close.
VILLAIN: Brent Hicks
Mystery: What’s his connection to Evelyn?
Intrigue: Using his celebrity status, he entices wayward children into a sex trafficking ring for the amusement of high powered individuals who pay him for his service.
Suspense: Will he win his public battle with Evelyn and continue ruing peoples lives.
