    Bryan’s Villain Track!

What I learned doing this assignment is answers show up when asked and I put the effort in.

    1. Ask the Villain Track questions to discover your Villain’s plan, decisions, and actions.

    A. What might be the Villain’s plan to accomplish an evil outcome or to annihilate the hero? Villain wasn’t expecting any difficult long-term problems and often comes up with something new on the spot, until it escalates into their HQ. <div>

    B. How many ways can the Villain attack or destroy the hero? Rally, ridicule, shame, gossip, moralize, deplatform, turn family against, etc. Fake videos, blackmail inflation. Then financial bribery, or sanction, freeze accounts, etc. Then escalate to threats of violence, hitmen.

    C. What advantage does the Villain have and how can they exploit that in this movie? They have global intelligence network and lots of paid mercenaries.

    D. What would be a “fitting end” for this Villain where they pay for what they’ve done? Livestream video feed of cowards acting cowardly, revealing their shame, then reversing when they don’t get forgiven and all they hate spills out publicly. They are caged, and “domesticated and farmed.”

    2. Include labels with each step of their plan.

MISTAKE: During a mission to topple a foreign tyrant- Archons send misinformation, and real information coded, when mistake is discovered they kill off the team, except hero escapes.</div>

DILEMMA: Hero unsure if he ought to report to any superiors, or pretend to be dead, and continue investigation.

DECISION: Finds out bigger plan is to take out any national threat to Archon’s Globalist Agenda, continue to enslave humanity.

PLAN/HIT CONTRACT: Archons turn entire Intelligence Network against Hero.

PLAN/HIDING OUT: Hero fights off most while gathering more intel and discovering Shadow Agencies. Hero releases files publicly.

CAPTURE: Hero captured, taken to Archon HQ.

RETALIATION: In retaliation, Archons tell Hero how they had his grandfather and his father killed. Let him know he only got this far because he’s an Alien hybrid.

ESCAPE: Hero escapes with help of a few Archon dissidents, and some light body good ETs.

FITTING ENDING: Livestream video feed of cowards acting cowardly, revealing their shame, then reversing when they don’t get forgiven and all they hate spills out publicly. They are caged, and “domesticated and farmed.”

    The Villain Track

What I have learned doing this assignement is to define and know my character better

    1.The Villain

    A.

The Villain has managed to be a part of the President’s inner circle.

He looks like a very reliable administrator acting as aid at the Ministry

of Finance. Everybody totally trusts him.

His plan consists in being well-established on the strategic spot so as to be

able to give orders and create a non-questionable financial situation even

if his coworkers do not always understand what he is doing. As a double

agent for Russia he could easily set the U.S.A. and China at loggerheads.

Thus he could retrieve a juicy money market for his country and avoid being

    uncovered by killing the President.

    B.

The Villain can attack the hero in many ways :

    Responsabilities :

. The Villain has access to secret files and make the most of them against the U.S.A. interests.

. He can spare the President little inconveniences and make the hero grateful to him instead of arousing suspicion about his loyalty.

. The Villain, on the contrary, can bring discredit upon the good people around the President.

    Politics :

. The Villain can start a war between the U.S.A. and China and completely desorganize the country with the death of the President.

    Personal and family life :

. The villain can poison the hero and force him to carry his plan

through when he blackmails him with the antidote.

. The Villain can put pressure on the hero, threatening him about his

    wife and close friends.

. He can break every communication from the hero to the ones who

    could help him.

    Physically :

. He can abuse and even kill the hero.

    C.

The Villain has a good position in the inner circle of the hero.

He works as a mole and nobody knows who he really is.

He has an excellent American accent.

    He is highly trusted

He has accomplices in the White House.

All these advantages allow him to act without compromising himself.

    D.

    Fitting End :

The hero’s wife will kick the villain’s ass and he will be injected with a truth drug by the scientist.

The villain will see he has himself be tricked by a coworker.

Finally they will be arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment with Chinese guards who only speak Chinese, which he does not understand at all.

The Chinese guards snigger every time he opens his mouth because he looks like a fool.

    Jan’s Villain Mission Track

    Assignment 4

“What I learned doing this assignment is…?” To focus on the negative hero and stay completely with him, his pov, his work ethics and his will to force a positive outcome as good as it get’s. A formidable way to sit in the – antagonistic -other chair and focus on on it as if this would be the main storyline. Will make my heroine stronger and better looking

    1. Ask the Villain Track questions to discover your Villain’s plan, decisions, and actions.

    A. VERSION 2 PLAN: Before the movie started, DARK spent a lot of time preparing a complex plan that was designed to achieve an impossible goal and thwart any opposition. Kitty then was sucked into that plan by the old artist, not knowing what she was getting into.

    VILLAIN: D.A.R.K

    HERO: Kitty

    A. Dark’s plan was conceived before the movie started. It is revealed through the decisions, adjustments and actions that he and his team take.
    B. DARK kills the old Artist, sends local team for Kitty, then sends more men from Bulgaria, destroys her equipment, bribes authorities, catches one part of the tattoo and has It transplanted to his body, attacks all side-kicks.
    C. DARK has planned how to manipulate the old artist and get the tattoo for himself, he knows about the powers of the tattoo, his HQ far out of reach yet has a strong infrastructure on Malta and even a stake in Kitties new employer; endless money and resources;
    D. In the finale Kitty forces DARK to hold hands and allow the tattoo to wander into his body, that’s what was always his aim. The tattoo decides different and sucks the life out of DARK while transcending into Kitty and thereby takes revenge for killing the old artist;

    Plan 2 – prepared plan

DARK knows the OLD ARTIST would never give in to tattoo a magic tattoo into DARKs skin. He sets out a plan to manipulate and horrify the artist in a way that he would tattoo one in three different people before killed. DARK plans it to be „his“ people. Then he could have all three parts transplanted to his own body. By this he would become immortal and would be able to develop from his own blood a medicine that only the richest of the richest could afford to stay young and healthy.

ADJUST PLAN: DARK learns that the artists community created a panic and other people than planned have been tattooed. He adjusts his plan to „find them, get them, bring them“

SURPRISE / ADJUST: His Malta locals research and find Kitty. But two men are not enough to kidnapp Kitty, nobody knows she is an ex-URNA (Swat) police officer. DARK sends a cohort of his security people to Malta to get the job done and hires more locals.

DOUBLE SIDED GAME: DARK sends intel to the local police about Kitty who promptly reacts and interrogates her. Taking her data into the police computer DARK gets hold of Kitties cell phone number and calls her.

TWIST: Kitty receives surprisingly a this call from DARK – you have something I want – yet being a URNA negotiator she can stretch the call with DARK and sounds willing to negotiate a deal.

REDUCING SIDE KICKS: On DARKs order security managed to find Kitty when she visits Petrus in the bar she’s been drugged to find a trace of the other two tattooed. She learns that one of them is from the DARK team b ut has been told by the artist that he will get his skin peeled off alive because there is no other way to transplant it unless you let the tattoo decide . Kitty learns of the „speaking“ and awareness abilities of the tattoo Petrus gets shot and heavily wounded. Kitty fights the shooters down, takes some of their weaponry and escapes, calling for an ambulance on the run.

    ONE STEP FORWARD: DARK orders more people to Malta without a blink. And his team reports they know where to find their own guy who is hiding and are about extracting him to Sofia;

CONTINUE THE DOUBLE SIDED GAME: Malta police is manipulated by DARK to focus on Kitty. Police officer LUSARE instead calls Kitties ex chief in Prague only to learn that Kitty would never do something unrightfully, the opposite she left the police because she was forced to shoot when she didn’t want to. She quite the opposite is insatiable for justice in practical situations.

FIRST SUCCESS : DARK joins his tattooed henchman to the surgery and has him killed while the tattoo is transplanted to his skin, it works. Now they must get hold of Kitty and #three , both alive.

SURPRISE UPSIDE DOWN : DARK learns that Kitty has been hired by a company on Malta he is a shareholder of and starts to find ways how use this to his advantage. Kitty sitting at a computer same time sees the activities of his team and uses this to find about DARK, the team and locations, security et al.

PREDICTING: DARK sends a picture of his chest to Kitties cell, while she is disputing with the relocation guy PAUL and PETRUS in the hospital, how to refine her algorithm for the airport. There is only one person she is looking for. LUSARE has to arrest Kitty again, he is forced by his superiors.

ATTACK : DARK sends his right hand man „GEORGIE“with a cohort to the police station to pick up Kitty. When Lusare refuses to let her go, Kitty learns that DARK tried to bribe him but Lusare resisted. Georgie shoots LUSARE in front of Kitty. Police work sucks.

FIRST CRACKLES: DARK shows nerves for the first time on the call when he learns that Kitty on the way to the private air field managed to escape. Again?

Twist: DARK feels his tattoo vibrating -in 1300 miles distance – and requests of GEORGIE to find Kitty, she has found the third tattoo.

GOING IN: GEORGIE is trapped by Kitty who has the third tattoo, LUCA in tow and takes over the private jet. Georgie is forced to write a false message to DARK informing him that he has Kitty and Luca on board on his way to SOFIA.

RAMPING UP THE FINALE: DARK sends people to the private air field to pick them up, urging every body to highly alerted as KITTY is a hell of a smart fighter, he has to have them both alive.

DARK receives messages that the airplane has not landed,…. has not landed …..has not landed …..while Kitty has forced the pilot to take a different airfield and is already on her way with Luca and Georgie to the DARK HQ.

FINALE DARK and Kitty fight her way through the DARK HQ, Kitty is shielding Luca and even risking her own life knowing that she may not be killed.

Georgie manages to tear loose from KITTY and to find DARK resuming to fight Kitty.

Behind an armored glass wall DARK must watch the fight between Georgi and Kitty. After Georgie unwillingly shot Luca and is about to die, Kitty decides to finish very quickly this fight as she doesn’t have the time to.

FITTING END: DARK enters the room after Kitty unlocks the computer locked doors. And immediately locks them again. They have a mano a mano and DARK is fairly fit to be a real opponent but has a few dirty tricks up his sleeve. Kitty let go her police trained behavior and fights with all the dreck and dirt she met on the streets in the past.

After she breaks his legs and one arm, it’s over. Kitty sits him upright and ties one arm to Luca and one arm to hers. They both know that the tattoo is said that it will decide in the moment and while DARK laments why he is the better solution for the tattoo and the world of fit and healthy people Kitty just allows her into a meditation.

DARK feels how the tattoo of dying Luca and his wander to Kitty’s body. We can see how she receives the eagle on her other arm and the golden sun on her chest which unites to a colorful and powerful tattoo :lizard, sun and eagle . DARK has his – good – energy slowly sucked out of his body and his life and the bad one stays behind dying together with him.

By following the lesson’s structure and bullet points, I’m hoping that I can resolve some of the character and plot points that are a sticking point for me.

    Lesson 4 Villian Track

    • A. What might be the Villain’s plan to accomplish an evil outcome or to annihilate the hero? The plan could be pre-existing or created on the spot. Nick Chen owns a small startup that creates bespoke viruses. He is planning another attack in Vienna, Austria but why there? Vienna, Austria is where his parents were killed in a botched intelligence extraction and he blames Russian and US intelligence and specifically Audrey Meyers, Steven Gilroy, and Serge Ivanov He hatches a plan to lure them all in by planning to steel a virus from a local laboratory.

    • B. How many ways can the Villain attack or destroy the hero? Nick Chen has the ultimate weapon: a deadly virus that kills those exposed within one hour. He has the vaccine and the anti virals but no-one else has.

    • C. What advantage does the Villain have and how can they exploit that in this movie? No-one really knows who is behind the theft of the deadly virus and whether once they catch up with the thieves whether they will survive.

    • D. What would be a “fitting end” for this Villain where they pay for what they’ve done? Die at the hands of a virus he helped to make.

When was the villain’s plan conceived? A long time ago, but a few things have gone wrong. 1. His sister has escaped with Serge Ivanov. 2. Director John Brown will bring him Steven Gilroy as promised and in return Brown (who is a double agent) will be free to go. 3. Rachel Gilroy now knows something about the plan and his sister.

Mistake: His sister, a genius virologist, has escaped and together with Serge Ivanov was planning to secure a deal with the CIA. She is the key when it comes to the virus’ finishing touches before it can be released.

Dilemma: He must find his sister but in doing so he risks exposing his plan to release a deadly virus and himself to the intelligence agencies and therefore missing an opportunity to avenge the death of his parents by luring Audrey Meyers and Steven Gilroy to their deaths.

Decision/Kill Him: He sends a team to capture his sister and Audrey Meyers.

Plan Hit/Contract: He decides to continue on with his plan only this time it includes Rachel Gilroy perhaps he can bribe her like he has done Director Jim Brown.

Plan/Hiding Out: He brings forward the operation to steal a deadly virus from a local lab.

Capture: After the virus is stolen by Mark, someone on Nick’s payroll, Rachel catches up with them.

Retaliation: Nick has decided he’s taking down all the CIA agents not just Audrey and Steven.

Escape: He heads to his yacht to escape from Rachel Gilroy.

Fitting End: He endures extreme pain for 5 mins before dying at the hands of a virus created and administered by his sister.

    Nick’s Villain Track

What I learned: My villain is a metaphor for racism. He is pure evil–his driving force–and my hero is, in turn, forced to destroy it. He has no consciousness, just reacts. His track is just that–a relentless force that reacts to stimuli until it is stuffed out.

    1. Ask the Villain Track questions to discover your Villain’s plan, decisions, and actions.

    A. What might be the Villain’s plan to accomplish an evil outcome or to annihilate the hero? The plan could be pre-existing or created on the spot.

The villain, Mankill, is the kind of oversized, Nazi-like bully that looks for trouble in the moment. He’s a metaphor for racism. The trouble begins when Emilio calls him an asshole for cracking his windshield at the cafe. Mankill immediately feels dissed and attacks Emilio, pushes Juan away and sexually gropes the wives. It escalates to where he is about to shoot Juan dead for causing his face to bleed after Juan smashes his leg prosthesis against it, but the Sheriff intervenes and sends Mankill and his gang off. Mankill vows revenge.

    B. How many ways can the Villain attack or destroy the hero?

Torture him, destroy his legs, shoot him, hang him, gradually cut him into pieces, eat him.

    C. What advantage does the Villain have and how can they exploit that in this movie?

He has unlimited skinheads/Harleys at his disposal, knows the territory, has inescapable devices for housing and slaughtering dark-skinned people—his main food. Mama’s boy.

    D. What would be a “fitting end” for this Villain where they pay for what they’ve done?

After his skin is burned off, he fights on and comes at Juan with a Bowie knife. After a wild clanging of blade and leg scythe, Juan sinks his prosthetic leg scythe into his chest.

    2. Include labels with each step of their plan.

MISTAKE: Not killing Juan and Emilio at first encounter. <div>

DILEMMA: He has a second chance to kill Juan after capturing him and smashing his prosthetic legs, but his Mama tells him there’s no room in the freezer and to wait until they eat down their existing inventory of human flesh; and don’t bruise them in the meantime or it will ruin the taste.

DECISION/KILL HIM: After Juan goes missing, Mankill enlists more skinheads to find him, but he wants the satisfaction of killing him himself.

PLAN/HIT CONTRACT: The skinhead who captures Juan will get to eat the prized meat as a reward—Juan’s liver.

RETALIATION: After Juan and Emilio kill all his siblings, Mankill is blind with rage and goes after them with a do or die vengeance.

FITTING ENDING: It’s a face-to-face fight, Juan slashing at him with his leg blades and Mankill slicing at him with his Bowie knife. Juan finally sinks a leg blade into his chest.

    Sunil Pappu’s Villain Track!

“What I learned doing this assignment is to think about what the villain’s plan would be if the hero didn’t interfere and also come up with a version 1 plan for improvisation once the hero starts to dismantle the villain’s carefully constructed plan.”

    A. What might be the Villain’s plan to accomplish an evil outcome or to annihilate the hero? The plan could be pre-existing or created on the spot.

Mikhail and his KGB men have been tasked with launching tactical nuclear weapons to win the war on Ukraine, but they have to do it without detection from the NATO and US forces and spies. When a sleeper agent is activated and tries to stop their plans and fulfil a personal vendetta, the KGB commander is ready to send his men to kill her and eventually take her on himself.

    B. How many ways can the Villain attack or destroy the hero?

Mikhail sends his KGB canine unit after her into the woods; then he sends a team on ski bikes with automatic weapons to hunt her in the ice; he then sends an aerial team to assist assassins on motorbikes air-dropped to comb the forest; around the perimeter of the missile silo installs his best snipers to spot her and take her out; tortures a hunter who rescues her in the woods and kill a dog to lure her out; captures her inside the silo and tortures her; fights hand to hand combat in the end

    C. What advantage does the Villain have, and how can they exploit that in this movie?

He is KGB Commander for this secret mission and has highly skilled KGB agents and assassins in his team; he has a loyal team of trained snipers to protect the missile silo; he has an unlimited supply of automatic weapons and explosives, Russian military taking orders and even prison guards who award hit contracts to inmates.

    D. What would be a “fitting end” for this Villain where they pay for what they’ve done?

The villain and his team are burnt in the blast at the isolated missile silo when the missile target is changed to the fire on itself.

VERSION 2 PLAN: The villain had a secret plan to launch a tactical missile undetected by US and Nato allies to win the war on Ukraine by taking out key installations, followed by a series of attacks to escalate into an all-out war on neighbouring NATO countries and an ICBM launch from a submarine on the US. The orders come directly from the Kremlin and even the generals are unaware of this secret mission.

VERSION 1 PLAN: When the hero escapes prison and tries to stop the launch, the villain must teach a final lesson to his old student from KGB on might and loyalty.

    VILLIAN: Mikhail Vasiliev

    HERO: Svetlana Irumov

Mikhail’s plan is revealed through the following decisions and actions that he and his team take:

    1. SKIRMISH: Svetlana fights with an inmate and is caught on a camera.

    2. DETECTION: KGB agent alerts Mikhail when their facial recognition hits a match for a defected agent Svetlana

    3. DILEMMA: To go after her as a deflector from the KGB and clear his name or stick to his secret mission from the Kremlin.

    4. HIT CONTRACT/KILL HER: He puts up a contract with the prison guards to get an inmate to take her out and bring him proof.

    5. MISTAKE: A prison inmate who takes the contract tries to rape Svetlana, and the guards join in, but she takes them hostage and takes over the weapons and uses her skills to take out anyone from her post with her sniper gun. KGB Commander is alerted of the prison skirmish and escape.

    6. DECISION/KILL HER: Mikhail orders the military canine unit and sends him agents on skis with automatic weapons… who are killed by her, and a hunter in the woods who is an ex-military fighter who went into hiding because he doesn’t believe in the war on Ukraine.

    7. BIGGER HIT CONTRACT: Aerial unit drops assassins on motorbikes into the forest to chase her down… she uses her sniper rifle on the move, quickly moving from one vantage point to the next using the natural terrain… kills them all and takes out the chopper.

    8. BAITED: She uses one of the sat phones to threaten Mikhail in Russian that she’s coming for him to teach him a lesson this time. He warns her that she’s a dead woman if she comes after him.

    9. NEW PLAN/SHOOT TO KILL: Mikhail reaches the missile silo and sets up snipers to keep a lookout for Svetlana and take anybody that moves within a mile… Svetlana anticipates their positions and, with the help of the hunter, takes out the first sniper. She uses his position to neutralise the others.

    10. RETALIATION: One of the snipers goes after the hunter and captures him. Mikhail tortures him and lets her hear him kill his dog (the one that helped rescue Svetlana).

    11. CAPTURE: Inside the missile silo, his team sets a trap for Svetlana. She is captured, and Mikhail returns to torture her to find out whom she works for etc.…. She uses her evasion skills to get out of her cuffs and takes out the agents.

    12. MISSILE LAUNCH: Mikhail enters the target coordinates for the tactical nuclear missile launch and initiates the sequence.

    13. FITTING END: She and Mikhail get into hand-to-hand combat, and he uses systema to beat her down. He was her teacher and still knows her weaknesses… but Svetlana uses the newly acquired skills of Krav Maga to surprise him and beat him in the end. She changes the coordinates of the missile launch to blow up the missile silo … escapes into the forest and saves the wounded hunter.

    Laura Woodworth’s Villain Track!

What I learned doing this assignment is that there were more possibilities for me to explore to bring forth my Villain’s character in a way that better reveals the true danger to my hero.

    1. Ask the Villain Track questions to discover your Villain’s plan, decisions, and actions.

    A. What might be the Villain’s plan to accomplish an evil outcome or to annihilate the hero?

A long-term plan to terrorize the U.S. to the point of submission with their main in place for the takeover of the U.S. government and the new reign of a Muslim radical.

    B. How many ways can the Villain attack or destroy the hero?

Terrorist attacks on U.S. that kill innocent civilians

Kill who they think is the mole in their midst

Track her down by the phone calls she makes to alert authorities to the danger

Kidnap her/try to bring her in

Go after her FBI husband, friends or her church (attack what’s dear to her)

Capture her, torture her for information

Launch the most horrific attack while she watches, seemingly helpless to do anything

    Kill her

(There is really nothing they can do to her, as she is not afraid of death. She is invincible in her faith in God to intervene and in her willingness to die for others to live.)

    C. What advantage does the Villain have and how can they exploit this in this movie?

Inside U.S. people supplying the Syrian military with arms/weapons/funding

Inside people in the White House creating the narrative that serves their purpose

Inside people with influence over the U.S. President

    Inside people with access

A desperate and dedicated Syrian army

The power of fear over tehir army

A long term plan in place

The fear and passivity/naivete of the American people

The lack of morality/no parameters on their evil acts.

    D. What would be a “fitting end” for this Villain where they pay for what they’ve done?

In an honor/shame culture, a fitting end would be the shame of being defeated/outwitted by a female, by the infidels. True goodness prevailing over deceptive evil. Years of long-term planning failed/exposed. Suicide of main man who was true to the cause (Bird), with Pharoan, who was a hireling slinking away in defeat.

    2. Include labels with each step of their plan. Develop your own set of labels, but clearly show decisions, plans, and actions your villain takes.

    Plans – Decisions – Actions

(See my Thriller map from previous class for more defined plans, decisions, actions)

    Plan: men in position

    Action/Attack: blow up bridge

    Plan: men in place

    Action/attack: suicide bomber in place

    Mistake: Plan failed

    Decision: regroup, replan

    Action/attack: next hit

    Mistake: plan failed

Control: control the White House narrative with man in place

    Dilemma/Decision: find the mole

    Plan/attack: bus attack – works!

Action: continue to seek out the mole

    Plan/attack: fails

    Decision: find the mole!

Discovery/plan: Rachel is the one alerting authorities

Action: kidnap her – but – FBI get their first

    Dilemma: FBI get there first

Decision: move forward with long term plan

    Action/Attack: next attack – fails

Capture: get her; they capture her, not fully realizing it was her trap

Action/Decision: their attack plan fails while she is with them; kill team member as mole

Fitting ending: as their entire plan falls apart and their capture is imminent, Bird commits an “honor” suicide; Pharoan slinks away.

    Fleur’s Villain Track:

What I learned doing this assignment is that I need to spend more time in the head of my villain so I understand what makes him tick. He lives by “a different set of rules than most people” and I have to understand how and why those rules developed.

    1. Ask the Villain Track questions to discover your Villain’s plan, decisions, and actions.

    A. What might be the Villain’s plan to accomplish an evil outcome or to annihilate the hero? The plan could be pre-existing or created on the spot.

Will’s goal is to create wealth at the expense of the planet and his fellow humans. He isn’t the only person in the world of the series who operates like him but he represents the 1%. He realizes that the planet is in decay and that human life on it is limited. His secret goal is to milk the planet and use his wealth to retreat to SpaceX’s Residential Space Stations.

With his mother as a rare Natural Storyteller (one who understands their power from birth), he understands the Storyteller’s rhetoric but uses his power not in service to the planet but to manipulate. Unbeknownst to Will, his estranged father is a well-known cult leader.

    B. How many ways can the Villain attack or destroy the hero?

Because he was raised by a Storyteller, he understands how they operate and that they cannot intentionally harm anyone. Will, however, can harm The Storytellers yet he has to be tricky as they have the ability to avoid dangerous situations.

He can also use the media to manipulate public opinion and create a smear campaign against The Storytellers, thus allowing for violent attacks on Storytellers.

Will can use his daughter, Alice, to manipulate his mother. (Alice was raised by Will’s mother until recently)

    C. What advantage does the Villain have and how can they exploit that in this movie?

Extreme wealth and power, control of the media, greed, lack of morals.

    D. What would be a “fitting end” for this Villain where they pay for what they’ve done?

Good question. Death, as seen by The Storytellers, is being released back into the All so it isn’t a fitting end. Nor do Storytellers believe in non-consensual taking of lives. A fitting end would work to repair some of the damage his companies have done and use profits to create solutions to environmental problems. Or perhaps he dies and leaves control of his companies to his sister, Ree.

    2. Include labels with each step of their plan.

Progress – Will’s company introduces an expansive virtual world called “Oyster” designed to create virtual enjoyment in a world that is falling apart.

Backlash – The Storytellers notice that Oyster has created a veritable “Zombie Apocalypse” with people walking around with VR goggles. They decide to unify and become public about their views that are in opposition to Omega Corp and Oyster.

Retaliation – Will uses the media to create a smear campaign against the Storytellers, manipulating public opinion and leading to several attacks on Storytellers.

The “Big Guns” – Maya comes out of reclusion and confronts her son. She also finally tells Will who his father is, an infamous cult leader.

Gaining Power – after visiting his father and being told that his father is proud of who he is, Will’s drive is even stronger. (Action here)

A Worthy Opponent – at the beginning of the season, we see Will’s sister, Ree, on the streets, doing drugs, and rejecting and being rejected by society. With help of one of the Storytellers named Luisa, Ree turns her life around. Once sober, she approaches Ree and her niece, inviting them to see another vision for the planet. (Action.)

Retaliation – Will continues his mission of fear and control. He sets fire to lands that he wants to develop and devises the Phoenix Project – a development company that takes burnt real estate and builds beautiful and “environmentally safe” homes.

    Needs more work here…

Develop your own set of labels, but make sure you clearly show decisions, plans, and actions your Villain takes.

    Alan Reyes’s Villain Track!

    1. Ask the Villain Track questions to discover your Villain’s plan, decisions, and actions.

    A. What might be the Villain’s plan to accomplish an evil outcome or to annihilate the hero? The plan could be pre-existing or created on the spot.

In EXTRADITION, the villain is a corporate SVP for a Saudi Arabian oil company. His goal is to exterminate a scientist who is a liability to his company. He has moles in the U.S. DoJ, this is how he finds out that our Hero is alive and living in Thailand. He hires a hitman. When the hitman fails, he then hires another hitman. Lastly, he must take out our hero by himself.

    B. How many ways can the Villain attack or destroy the hero?

The Villain hires a hitman, hires a 2nd hitman, then takes it upon himself. Meanwhile, an investigator also chasing our hero, catches and arrests him, then catches him and let’s him go.

    C. What advantage does the Villain have and how can they exploit that in this movie?

Our Villain is backed by the biggest oil company in the world.

    D. What would be a “fitting end” for this Villain where they pay for what they’ve done?

Our Villain is charged with the attempted murder of our hero, plus the murder of our hero’s lover 10 years ago.

    2. Include labels with each step of their plan.

Develop your own set of labels, but make sure you clearly show decisions, plans, and actions your Villain takes.

The Villain track happens for 2 characters. The story begins with the Investigator being the main antagonist and switches to The Company’s SVP.

MISTAKE: The Investigator has arrested the scientist, and has him in a local police station jail cell. But he underestimated the scientist’s resourcefulness, and the scientist escapes from the holding cell.

DILEMMA: The Investigator’s dilemma. The Investigator works for the national police force. But his orders seem to be coming from a Corporation. The SVP calls the station chief, and the investigator gets the feeling that someone else is pulling the strings. Does his follow police protocol, follow orders from a private company man, or follow his gut?

DECISION/KILL HERO: When the Villain hears that the Investigator has let the scientist slip out of his hands, he sends the first corporate hitman to kill the scientist.

PLAN: The Villain sits back and waits for the phone call that the job is done, and the scientist is dead.

PLAN: The Villain gets news that the scientist killed his professional hitman. He hires a better hitman. Hitman 2 has a less subtle method than Hitman 1. Hitman 2 blows shit up!

RETALIATION: Hitman 2 has our Hero pinned in a research lab/facility. Hitman 2 ’s affinity towards using explosives backfires, when our Hero setups up a chemical trap in the lab. Hitman 2 is dead.

CAPTURE: The SVP thinks he has the Hero in his snare. But the Hero has come to him wearing a wire, to record the SVP’s expository confession.

FITTING ENDING: Our villain comes face-to-face with our Hero. He offers him money to keep him quiet. Our Hero stands behind his principles. The Villain let’s the Hero go… and signals his men to follow our Hero and get rid of him inconspicuously. As our hero walks out, the police enter. They heard everything. Our Hero was wearing a wire. A wire put on him by the investigator the was chasing him.

The SVP will become a fall guy, and the company will remain untouched.

    Lesson 4 answers Dan Hart

    A) What might be the Villain’s plan to accomplish an evil outcome or to annihilate the hero? The plan could be pre-existing or created on the spot.

The villain’s plan is pre-existing. We will learn that these humans are aliens, but, in fact, they are actually human and alien. From their point of you, there are only humans in the universe. They really laugh when they see a scene like the cantina scene in Star Wars.

The aliens can communicate telepathically. That is their superpower. It turns out this power is available to our geniuses. They get it quickly. Nick is having a hard time doing it. He didn’t want to tell the geniuses about this, but it leaks out to the three of them and once they learn the secret they are able to do it.

The football player, Chad, is the head of the student aliens. There are a small number. All the males are on the football team and the telepathy helps a great deal playing. There are two teachers who are also aliens who are more hard-core about taking over the earth and getting rid of us. They tend to be more violent in any situation. The comic angle is that the teachers judge humanity by the teenagers they teach. Sometimes not a very good sample.

    B) How many ways can the Villain attack or destroy the hero?

The villains are hindered in their ways to attack humans. Because they are humans without lethal super powers.

They can use all the methods that humans use against other humans. (Note: we should think about ways that they can enhance their telepathy so it’s more lethal.)

    C. What advantage does the Villain have and how can they exploit that in this movie?

These aliens have one superpower which is telepathy. We can see them using it in everyday situations, mostly humorous, like cheating on tests and giving them powers on the football field that their teammates don’t have.

    D) What would be a “fitting end” for these Villains where they pay for what they’ve done?

The fitting end is that, eventually, the younger aliens turn on their teacher leadersand they wish to stay on earth and live in peace. Yes, they will use telepathy for profit but not as a weapon. These aliens are sent back to closer times. To that is more livable. Perhaps, the treachers can be sent back to pre-historic times.

The students go into occupations that we will recognize( e’g. fortune tellers and magicians.)

    1. MISTAKE: during the football game call the aliens use their telepathic skills and Nick senses something unusual

    2. DILEMMA: Chad drops Nick off at the junkyard and Chad seas three geniuses all dressed in overalls. They seem retarded. The geniuses are still discombobulated by their time travel. Here Chad makes his typical deal for Nick to write his school papers.

    3. DECISION: Chad makes a decision that he will volunteer to help out with the old man by bringing food, etc. Nick tries to resist him good naturedly. Chad suggests he’ll bring a couple of girls which the old men might enjoy. Seemingly, it’s all very innocent. Plus Chad volunteers to throw Nick some passes so Nick might get some playing time. Girls and playing time is a big attraction to Nick.

    4. PLAN: The boss alien is the science teacher at the school. He has some evidence about the time machine being somewhere near Nick‘s junkyard. Chad has questions about Nick’s father and he finds out about these three seemingly cretin uncles.

    5. PLAN this is after geniuses find more appropriate clothing for their time and place. Chad concedes they can wear these clothes while in the junkyard. Chad and the science teacher show up one night unannounced. Either the geniuses are going to a costume party or they change out of their clothes fast. The science teacher talks science to the geniuses and he gets some amazing answers. The teacher’s instinct is take all of them as prisoners and force them to make the TT.Chad resists that. He votes for continuing to play the nice guy and finding the time machine.

    6. CAPTURE: The geniuses have found the broken Time Machine and theyt are putting it back together while trying to learn how to do time travel. Geniuses find that they need an immense amount of electrical energy to power the time machine. Nick and the geniuses are at the point they can experiment with the machine and calibrate if it works and what it can do. Here’s where the fourth genius/time traveler comes in. It’s Benjamin Franklin, lightning connoisseur, who is just bumming it around Lubbock mostly staying with women who are attracted to him because of his wit and this nature.(That is how Franklin was.) At this point near the end of the second act, science teacher and Chad Have have found Benjamin Franklin. They know who he is and they take him prisoner.

    7. Nick and the geniuses find out that Benjamin Franklin was supposed to be snatched and placed here to help with the lightning as only he can

Note: The Aliens are telepathic. Aliens are actually humans. Aliens suggest they’ve never met aliens and some bar on another planet. It’s just a bunch of humans. That means the hero should be capable of telepathy. Three geniuses are able to do telepathy pretty easily, but it’s hard to teach the kids or maybe there’s a funny way to do it

    Wendy’s Villain Track!

What I learned doing this assignment is that there are 2 types of villains and their thought process is extensive and not quite predictable but the ability to have steps to create them is nice.

    1) Villain Track Questions

    A) What might the Villain’s plan to accomplish an evil outcome or to annihilate the Hero?

-Pre-Existing and on the spot: He is a serial killer and planned out how and when to kill the Hero. He was to hit her in the head in the right spot and have her die from a brain injury and make it look like a home invasion. When she dies and comes back to life he has to make things up as he goes.

    B) How many ways can the Villain attack or destroy the Hero?

-The Villain can hit the Hero in the head, use a gun, or a knife. Once the Hero comes back to life all bets are off and the OR supplies many offerings for weapons

    C) What advantages does the Villain have and how can they exploit that in this movie?

-Th Villain has OR weapons on hand and he has the use of an army of MP’s

    D) What would be a “fitting end” for this Villain where they pay for what they’ve done?

-Many ways, hit over the head, electrocution, but the baes and most fitting way for him to die is to have an electric drill pernitrate his skull and brain and let him bleed out

    2) Labels for each step of the plan

    A) MISTAKE: The Villain didn’t plan for the Hero to come back to life and attack

    B) DILEMMA: He has murdered his 3rd wife but she has come back to life and it is hard to kill something that isn’t alive

    C) DECISION: The Villain calls out for the MP’s to come help

    D) PLAN/HIDE OUT: The Villain goes into the control office to hid and be protected by the MP’s

    E) CAPTURE: The Villain makes the mistake of leaving the control office to see if she is really gone this time. The Hero captures him and gets him to confess that he is the killer, and he killed his other wives

    F) ESCAPE: He breaks free from the Hero and runs to the equipment room where he hides

    G) FITTING ENDING: He makes the mistake of sitting in a chair in the NEURO room right next to the drill console. The Heroine arises behind him with a Craniotomy drill and shoves it into his head killing him
