Day 4: What I learned …

I learned from these scenes in Lost is that you need to up the stakes to do a powerful secret reveal and upset many other characters to shift the story in a new direction to add meaning to your story. Adding a scene that demands the secret to be revealed is key. They did it by having a man die but there are other ways to do it. In my story I can use this idea by characters in my story who follow the prot to a place she didn’t know she was being followed to and ends up revealing a secret of who she really is.

It may be possible to create higher dramatic reveals even in comedies.
