Lois Has Finished Act 4 + 5
This script isn’t as long as I thought it would be. I’ve written all the parts I had in the outline. I’ve gone over it looking for things that were in my head that weren’t in the outline. It’s still too short. This quick writing from outline doesn’t seem to work for me. I’ve written from outline before and never had this problem before. Writing a 100 page script isn’t hard.

Lisa has finish act 4 and 5.
It isn’t perfect, but I just kept going and kept telling myself everything will be okay. I know it can still be better, but I’m just trusting that it will all come together the way I intended it to. I’m catching up, and it feels good!

5. LAYERS AND REVEALS
I didn’t find many opportunities of adding new layers but I suppose this exercise will come into its own when I start to outline future episodes 2-8.
Deeper Layer Reveals, Harriet is in a lesbian relationship with her maid Rosie. Presented in a surprising dream sequence/flashback where Rosie seduces her mistress in the stables one afternoon. This is Presented as the Surprise Ending of Episode One, which hopefully gets the audience hooked.
Reveal of Elliot and Richard in a homosexual relationship, by a shocking/surprising way of when they are in bed together at the Molly House, adding another Layer is that he is keeping his homosexuality a secret from his family.

Act 4 & 5
I realise I posted a previous assignment in the wrong section!
I was able to write quickly from my outline but have realised that I do not have enough detail and thus this first pilot episode has come up short.
I look forward to lesson 6 for the RE-WRITES! and adding details, making it fuller and richer as I go.
