    My name is Adam Kroshus

    I’ve written four scripts.

I hope to be able to improve the various scenes that I have written in past scripts. I want to ensure I’m catching any glaring flaws in my writing. I have a pilot that I am getting ready to pitch around town, but I want it to be the best possible script I can write.

    I am a part-time stand-up comic.

Hi! Im Carol and Ive written about 10 scripts…who’s counting…lol. I hope to become a better screenwriter, which is always my goal. Something unusual? Whats NOT unusual, but many find it weird that I play the sitar and own one that was actually played by the late great Ravi Shankar.

    Rich Goldstein here.

I’ve written five shorts, three feature length, and two more features in process.

What I hope to get from the class is a better grasp on creating more depth, in both character and story.

I’m not certain about uniqueness, but retired Army.

    My name is Ann Bowen.

    I’ve written 5 scripts.

I think I can improve my scenes and scripts overall with this class.

I once did a vision quest of sorts, drove across the West alone, camped in 5-6 national parks, hiked the Grand Canyon, climbed Bell Rock in Sedona. overnight in California redwoods, etc. Prefer flying and hotels now.

I’m Armin, I live in Berlin Germany and I’ve been an actor for stage and film for 30+ years. I also did a feature-length documentary for German TV and some short-films. I’ve been writing for a while now on stories for series and films. I’ve completed two feature length scripts. One was optioned and funded. But so far none of them have been produced, although I do get positive reactions from production-companies and directors. Here in Germany, generally nobody wants to read scripts. They only want to see one-pages, exposés and treatments. But they do want to see scene-writing abilities, in form of exerpts of the script to come, (a scene or first ten pages). That’s why I’m here to hone my scene-writing skills.

    Hey everyone,

My name is Ali Jordan and I have been writing my entire life. Short stories, songs, poems and such but just started screenwriting a year and a half ago. I love it. I love movies and always have ideas to make them better IMO. I started writing screenplays though because I don’t see a lot out there that I want to watch so, I am writing what I want to see. I have “finished” five scripts in this time but constantly am busy rewriting them and working on my sixth. I hope to be able to develop some more depth in my scenes and characters alike. Some of the free classes have been helpful so hoping this paid one will be really helpful. I also play drums and sing in a local punk band here in LA.

My name is Sharon. I started off as a playwright and have written several scripts. I moved to LA hoping to transition into writing for TV or film. I haven’t. Screenwriting is a very different medium. I’m required to switch back and forth to an entirely different way of crafting thoughts and structure. I’m hoping this class will solidify the difference and get me out of decades long writers block.

My name is Christine Young. I’m a ScreenwritingU Alum. I’ve written maybe 6 or 7 features and my focus has been a pilot for a TV series. The truth is that I’m looking for something to spark an interest in writing again. I give a lot of feedback for friends who are writing scripts but haven’t felt the pull to write in some time. It is an odd feeling given that so much of my life I looked forward to writing. I’m hoping this course will jump start something for me.

Hi, Cheryl, Hal & everyone else excited to be here.

    My name’s Dave Kraft.

I’ve written two Action Thriller feature screenplays:

FULL CONTACT and IMPOSTERS of THE THIRD REICH.

Through studying industry teachings, especially these at Screenwriting U, I hope to constantly elevate my skill-sets to be the best working Screenwriter/Producer I possibly can.

I work (between power naps) everyday (no kidding) around the clock. . . screenwriting, reading screenplays/books, watching movies & helping others live this dream we all must breathe.

    Wishing everyone success,

Work hard. Finish strong. ; ) Believe!

I live in Lake Arrowhead, CA and we just survived our first official blizzard. One blizzard is enough for my entire life!

Looking forward to meeting all of you! 🙂
