Hi Cheryl (and everyone!),
My name is Melissa. Though I’ve been working in prose most recently, I have drafts of two full length and several short film scripts.
I hope to get inspired and make progress on a contained script, potentially a closed door mystery.
Something unique… um… I’m an American based in Glasgow with a Kiwi husband, and our professional housesitting side business has allowed us to travel around the world inexpensively. 🙂

Hi everyone,
my name is Karen Christine. I am living and working in Germany and from Tenerife/Canary Islands.
My road in this business began 23 years ago in the film industry, and took a (successful) “side-way” in the world of prose. I have written and published about 40 books for children, and I am honored and deeply grateful to say that big publishing houses call me to create new ideas for them.
My heart never stopped beating for movies, I have written 3 scripts and worked as a producer assistant with two producers from the US and UK, and I´m now very happy and grateful to be part of this group and meet some writing fellows on the way.
If anybody of you is living in or close to Santa Monica, CA, please send my love and hugs to the Ocean!

Hello, I’m Betty Dixson, and written a dozen scripts I want to learn everything I can to write a well-contained feature screenplay. I’m getting my first book published next month. 🙂

Hi everyone,
This will be short, though not heartfelt. Looking forward to this class and this experiment. I signed up thinking I would be using one of my existing scripts. However, I think it might be more advantageous to start out with a brand new concept. So, I am brainstorming several ideas right now.
My genres are family dramas or romantic comedies – feel good stuff with social messages and happy endings. I don’t write super-hero, major conflict, horror, and so I am deep in the process of searching for that new story with a great hook.
Also, I may be lagging behind a bit because of my schedule but I will conclude this class! As for sharing/critiquing the work with other writers this is not my” fav” but I will do my best.
