Hello friends, my name is Deni B. Sher. I have been studying with SU since 2015. I have written probably 10 scripts. I have been optioned, then Covid hit. I have a script, co-written with Ferdinand Gernandt under contract in Germany and another, a Hallmark script, optioned. I was hired to write another but it hasn’t been made yet. I love this school!! Something unusual about me, besides having 12 fingers is I have been to 136 countries.

2. How many scripts you’ve written? 1 finished, 3 3/4s done, 1 short-short
3. What you hope to get out of the class? I have had ideas for reality shows in the past, so I want to learn the genre and possibly go further with it.
4. Something unique, special, strange or unusual about you? I got an idea for what I think is an incredible reality show when I was heavily sedated after emergency surgery in February of last year. The dream or whatever went on and on and on. It even began humorously! I came through with a new outlook on life, that no matter what, have compassion. That will be the driving force behind any reality show I might script, including the one I dreamed up that fateful time.

Hello everyone. I’m Daphne Hughes. Apologies on joining late! I am playing catchup. I have not written any screenplays yet, but I have worked as a television producer for all of my career, writing television news scripts and nonprofit/corporate video scripts. I am transitioning into screenwriting, and I have a docuseries idea (with sizzle reel) I am working on. I hope to get valuable information on how best to get the docuseries funded, produced and distributed. Wow. That last question is tough. LOL. I guess I have some psychic abilities. I have been able to see things before they happen … or someone will come to mind out of the blue, and then I will hear from that person or see him/her immediately afterward. Looking forward to the class!
