I’ve written 2 scripts.
I hope to make a big improvement in my script.
I have a speech by Nelson Mandela on my wall that says we ask ourselves “who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?”

I’ve written about a dozen features. Three pilots. A bunch of shorts.
I’m hoping to use the rewrite class to elevate the 4th rewrite of a script called SAY HIS NAME, and the 14th rewrite of a feature called HURRICANE.
Something unusual about me? I write screenplays. Something unique? I’ve been a practicing psychologist for 44 years.

Hi, I’m Deanne. Number of scripts? Let’s call it seven. My goal in this class is to elevate my current long-term project into a script that is highly marketable. My unique badge for the day is Zinnias: For the past four or five years I’ve grown scads of cactus-blossom zinnias (multiple colors/shapes) and kept the spent blossoms to shred for seeds. So now I have produce-boxes full of seeds I try to give away for free. Come on, people! These things are easy to grow, great for pollinators, bloom all summer, no detectable fragrance, and the deer and rabbits shun them. What’s not to like?

Douglas Dotts
I have written 3 scripts – several rewrites of the last two.
I hope to discover new insights to my story telling and polish – polish – polish.
I lived in Japan for 2 years while in the USAF.
Best to all!

I’ve written ten feature scripts.
I hope to significantly improve the romantic comedy I’m developing making it more marketable, commercial and tight.
Something unique or strange about me is that I can’t chat about myself.

Hi All,
I’m Ed. I’m glad to see that two of you were born in the Fifties. I was born in the Forties.
I’m working on my 3rd script. The other two are still lying around waiting for further attention. Hoping to be able to polish this one and get it made into a full-length feature (low budget).
I’m a physician, still working. I’ve published three novels and have a musical play I’m shopping around. I believe we’re all unique, and a little crazy. Why else would be keep doing what we’re doing?

Hi All!
Sorry I’m so late joining up, couldn’t be helped.
My name is Jonathan Clark
I’ve written a bunch of scripts, mostly thrillers, a few shorts, three pilots (one of which got made) and just recently, on contract, my first book. Been optioned a number of times, Semi-finalist at the Nicholl six times, won best script all genres at the Fade In Awards. Still slugging it out.
I have a script that’s been languishing in a drawer for a long time. I thought it was primarily a love story, and wrote it as such, but now realize it’s actually a thriller (of course, duh) with a love story as a serious component. In this class, I want to crack that script and make it fly.
I’m a New Yorker who lived for a long time in Toronto (which is why I’m a huge Maple Leafs fan) and now I live in Dublin, Ireland. Made my living as a Musician for a lotta years… till a badly-displayed door in Home Depot fell on my fingers, ended my career. That’s what got me to switch to writing scripts. Studied screenwriting at Gotham in NYC, and UCLA.
