Hello!
My name is Mark. I may be new at script writing, but I have over 30 years of real life experience. I devoted 26 years to the Army Reserves (Army Intelligence), 20 years to CIA and nearly 4 years of combat experience in Iraq (3 months) and Afghanistan (3 1/2 years).
I served as Deputy Chief of Base at Bagram Airbase, Afghanistan for 17 months before deploying for 2 plus years along the Afghan/Pak border conducting ‘Hogan’s Heroes’ style operations. I will therefore draw from my experience to develop my first script from this perspective.
What I hope to get from this course are teaching points on how to look like I know what I am doing than winging it. I want a producer to know when I approach them that I took the time not to waste their time.

Hi! I’m Caitlin. I have written one short film script before, this will be my first feature length script. I am hoping to learn how to pull myself through the script writing process of a feature from concept through a final draft. When I was a child I swore by ketchup and peanut butter sandwiches!

Hi all, I’m Trish. I’ve written 2 full scripts and a partial third. The whole process has been super slow, like a year or more for each one, so figuring out how to write faster is what I want to get out of the class. I’ve been working with AI like Hal has taught and it’s fantastic! My fun fact is that my family left Florida to live in Alaska, when I was a kid. I settled in the middle (Seattle) as an adult.

Hi I’m MICHAEL STEVEN : I’ve written one tv pilot and working on my first full length feature film. I came to this group from another class. I would like to get a completed feature length script by the time class is done. Currently I have two ideas in my head, but I’ll narrow it down to one. If I can handle it, I’ll pursue both of them within time allotted. I would definitely like to write ✍️ faster and not be such a perfectionist. Thanks, Michael.
