Hello everyone. I’m Charles in Denver, Colorado. I’m a creative Producer. I’ve written a few shorts and 1 feature. This will be my first entry into the horror space. I’m looking forward to learning the rules of Horror! Thanks.

Hi my name is Hiram Taylor. I have written 7 screenplays and 5 published novels. I have produced and directed 3 documentary films for PBS and 1 independent film CONNECTIONS. I directed a full-cast audiobook for Audible of my book THE TURQUOISE TWINS. I just finished Hal’s TV Series class where I wrote my first horror Pilot. Now I hope to learn how to write a horror movie with a low budget that I can produce and direct. A unique thing about me is that for 33 years I made my living designing and building Mardi Gras floats here in New Orleans. Now. I have written 3 soon to be published novels about Mardi Gras float building.

Hi everyone, I’m Aaron from Long Island NY. I went to school for film at Emerson College, moved to NYC after college and worked in the music industry for close to fifteen years, then pivoted into tech (to make a living lol). My main writing project has been a podcast based on the Fallout game series, but I have fallen out of a regular writing routine and I am trying to get back on the wagon after some “life goals” assessment and realignment. I think finishing a project would be the best way to gain some momentum and get back in the habit of writing, so for this class I’m hoping to get a first draft of an idea I’ve had in my head for a long time. Looking forward to seeing Charles and Hiram’s projects and working with anyone else that is going to join as well. Cheers!

Hello, I’m Selma. I live in Cyprus – I am an English teacher during the day and screenwriter at night! I have written 5 scripts and 1 short. I have had an idea for a while which seems to fit in as a horror script. I’m excited to learn how to write a script that will hopefully be marketable.

Hi everyone. I’m David. I’m a Canadian writer with 7 published novels under my belt. I have adapted about 5 of them to either features or TV pilots. Nothing sold yet, but I haven’t given up yet. I don’t know how weird it is but I spent 31 years running into burning buildings while others ran out. Wish I could help with the fires in California. A friend of mine lost his house. He is a writer as well.
