Hi, My name is Jolene Kim,
I've written 5 scripts.
I hope to make my scripts better and understand the thriller elements and how to write a fantastic thriller.
I am from Hawai'i and I am an actress as well. I am writing to create more roles for myself. http://www.imdb.me/jolenekimI look forward to working with you all!

I’ve written over twenty screenplays, originals, adatations and re-writes. Two Originals optioned, one produced that was a writing assignment from the producer.
Took the old thriller course but am very impressed by the new depth and subject matter of this new one so am looking forward to learneing a lot of new ways to create a high level thriller.
Have been in production most of my life beginning in live television then into film production. Have a few assistant director and 2nd unit director credits on a few lessor features (most uncredited on IMDb). Spent most of my career in industrial films as director or cinematographer. Now that I’vce outlived my producers I’m mostly into writing.
Very much looking forward to this class. -

2. I’ve written one feature length script and one short film, but nothing sold.
3. I don’t particularly like horror films but I appreciate the genre, especially when it is well done. I do love psychological thrillers and have always wondered how to write a good one.
4. When I was 2, my mother taught me how to spell my name using the theme song to The Mickey Mouse Club. -

I’ve written one screenplay and many TV adverts.
I’m starting to write my next screenplay and thought this course might be a good tool to help me.
My day job was managing large indoor retail markets in the UK. Quite a surreal experience, which is probably reflected in my writing!

Hello!
My name is Lisa Vons Cooper.
I’ve written one screenplay but it wasn’t very good.
I’m hoping to get my creative mind moving in the right direction with this course.
My daughter has ridden horses and done rodeo for 11 years and I still know nothing about horses or riding. But I’m very proud of her! I played and coached softball my entire life and she wants nothing to do with it. -
Hi everyone!
My name is Diane. I've written two drama feature-length spec scripts (both currently in a rewrite due to the lessons in other ScreenwriitngU classes I've taken.) I've collaborated with a friend on a Christmas movie script (also spec) that fits the Hallmark genre. I have a horror feature (spec) in progress (which is a heck of a lot of fun to write. I also have a treatment for another drama, coming-of-age feature and a variety of shorts.
While I’m basically dabbling here, I do want to get a firm grasp on the thriller genre over the course of this class.
Something unique, special, strange or unusual about you? I'm strongly drawn to writing drama and that's the genre I consider to be my specialty. But I enjoy learning about other genres and have taken a few ScreenwringU classes to do so. I think I'll stick with drama, but I'm intrigued by the thriller genre as well.

Hello everyone, my name is Ron Neustrom. I have written more than 10 scripts. My hope from this class is to produce a script of high enough quality to get attention, sell, option, win a contest award…go to the next step. I first started my career in San Francisco in the 80’s. Got a screenwriting degree from SFSU…(ps. Steven Zaillian went there… didn’t know him) but met a lot of great of people along the way. I live The Impostor Syndrome everyday…leave you with a fun fact …easier to get into Harvard than to sell a screenplay (percentage wise)!
