Tell us the following:
1. Name?
2. How many scripts you’ve written?
3. What you hope to get out of the class?
4. Something unique, special, strange or unusual about you?
We look forward to working with you all!

I’m Eddie Gadrix from the ATL. I’ve written 1 feature, 1 1-hour TV pilot, 1 short, and I have 2 features in progress. I hope to strengthen my writing through this course.

1. Name? Constance (Connie) Barr
2. How many scripts you’ve written? 13 (6 shorts and 7 features)
3. What you hope to get out of the class? Increase my rewrite skills to put a final polish on my 3 strongest projects to seek representation. I had a manager for a couple of years but it was not a good fit, so I did not resign with her. One of my screenplays is optioned with a producer in London and we are in development. All of my projects have strong female protagonists:)
4. Something unique, special, strange or unusual about you? I have been a Buddhist practitioner for over 40 years.

Hi,
I’m Andrea. I’ve written about a 1/2 dozen scripts. I hope to come away with a reliable and easily repeatable system of editing for improvement.
Unusual thing: I teach the Feldenkrais Method.

Hi, I’m Mary Albanese. I have written a lot of feature scripts, some tv scripts, and have produced some low budget shorts (MaryAlbanese.com). I am hoping to double the quality of my writing so I can get some features produced. Sometimes I work with a British medium documenting her work (through books ) which has lead to some spooky experiences. So some of my writing veers into the creepy. But not all of it as I like to write romances and adventure stories, too.

Hi there!
1. I’m Andrea Cabañas,
2. How many scripts have you written?
I wrote a few short film scripts and one feature film. One of my projects, an animation/pilot for a web series, got to the semifinals of the Screencraft Animation Screenplay Competition in 2021. This encouraged me to produce it, and it’s been on YouTube since 2023 (Manu, The Spider).3. What you hope to get out of the class?
I’m working on the final draft of my feature film, so I really want to take it to the next level and apply the same skills to my next project, which I have already started to outline.4. Something unique, special, strange or unusual about you?
I’m Brazilian with Paraguayan and Lithuanian blood, living in Australia, always trying to make my voice heard 😉 -
Hey!! I’m Dawn C. Crouch, and I’ve written over a dozen scripts, including feature films, TV shows, and one short. I wanted to take the class to learn the latest of Hal’s best techniques and strategies. It’s all about the breakthrough. I like to lap swim; it’s a great time to think.
