Hi! I’m Kim J, and I’ve written a couple of features (learning scripts) and a couple of shorts (one of which was an official selection for a podcast that hasn’t aired yet). My current work in progress is an hour-long television pilot — a psychological thriller with supernatural elements. I hope to apply what I learn in this course to that pilot. I speak English, Spanish, and some Italian.

Hi All! Michael Greco here. I have written two screenplays. Had a one-act play produced a while back. I love thriller movies, and I believe I work that territory – looking for a structured approach to it. Everything is unique about me, and universal. I went scuba diving for the first time this year… will be doing more of that. Looking forward to working with everyone. Cheers, MG

Hello friends!
My name is Dimitry Krasovskiy. I’m 40yo. For recent years I’ve been thinking to write 4-5 screenplays. Right now Im expecting to finish 1 of them based on my experience. I hope this class will help me. For development of that idea I’ve been driving a semi truck for 7 years. I was an opera singer (bass voice) and photographer during 20 years.

Hi Everyone,
Nice to meet all of you.
My name is David Polcyn. I have written around 15 scripts, about half with my writing partner. Out of those, a few have been made, some optioned and a lot are gathering dust – that is if it’s possible to gather dust on a hard drive.
What you hope to get out of the class?
Often times I feel over reliant on inspiration, I tend to mull things over, chew on them a bit too long. So I am always looking for more tools to put in the craft tool box, especially when the approach is quite different from mine.
Something unique, special, strange or unusual about you?
I moved to Prague after living in Los Angeles for 20 years. I was traveling back and forth, before coming to Czech to shoot a film in February of 2020 – we wrapped two hours before they locked down the entire country due to Corona Virus. Since then I have been more or less in Prague waiting for the world to open back up, trying to be constructive by editing, writing and attempting to learn the Czech language. But so far all that studying Czech has taught me is how easy Spanish is.
Look forward to taking this journey together with all of you.

Hi – my name is Sandra Gibson and I have written five scripts.
I hope to turn a drama I am working on into a Thriller. I love writing and have been writing scripts for about nine years now. I placed as a semi-finalist at the Austin Screenwriting competition in 2019 and have been working very hard on improving my skills ever since.

I have written about 10 scripts.
I wrote a thriller I am producing and want to see how it stands up to the principles I will learn in this class.
My first film was nominated for an Oscar. I live in Santa Monica and I have been in the industry since graduating NYU in the 80’s. My latest feature doc is streaming on Amazon titled Land Of Little Rivers. And I think I have an old friend here from NYU – Hello Frank Fuller! Is that you? I’m a private pilot and have a really annoying dog named Vanna White who barks at everything.
