    Tell us the following:

    1. Name?

    2. How many scripts you’ve written?

Hello, dear fellow screenwriters! My name is Laura Woodworth, I’m a development executive for Cooke Media Group in Burbank, CA and also a script consultant for Stage 32. I’ve written 10 or so feature films/TV pilots and won some awards, as well as had my work produced. I’m very thankful to be in this class; I appreciate the coursework ScreenwritingU offers to help me elevate my craft. (Here’s my disclaimer: I’m in the middle of several deadlines, but will do my best to keep up with the class!) Great to meet you all – Laura

Hello classmates and fellow screenwriters. I’ve written several features and two TV pilots. I’ve had two options. I am very rusty; have not been writing scripts in a long time. I hope to get my best script in the best shape possible with this class.

Hi everyone! My name is Tamera Raines, I haven’t written any scripts yet. I hope to gain the skills and confidence to start writing my first script, so that I can get some of the ideas that I have been carrying around, out of my head and on to the page. I live in Boulder Colorado and am working as a caregiver for a family member. I am a dyslexic, vegan, ninja in training. I am excited to be on this adventure with all of you.

I don’t consider myself a writer, but a storyteller. Starting in college with term papers, published a biography on a Chicago Cubs pitcher, a novel starting off about my son’s Little League experience with that nasty coach, then cut my imagination loose to have an incredible time at the keyboard. I just adore the freedom of fiction. Also published a book on how not to get crushed in a divorce over the real estate (#10 on Amazon for a micro-split of time). Currently, I have 3 screenplays I think will benefit from this course. I have taken quite a few classes from ScreenwritingU and hope this course will put it all together for one of them.

    Hi all,

Wayne Petitto, long time member of SU, written 4 scripts plus a few drafts in various stages. I expect to learn more about transformational journey scripts since, they are my forte.

I have 72 years of life experience, education, world travel, military operations, business ownership, and management to draw from as I finally get to do what I’ve always wanted to do. Create movies that transform audiences, making people better for having experienced them.

    I love a challenge!

Hello Everyone, I’m happy to meet you all. I haven’t written any scripts. I’ve carried stories with me over the years. I hope to transition out of corporate America next year so I can write full time. Since I’m a late bloomer, I want to learn how to make my stories great so they are noticeable right away. Maybe not unique – I’ve always known I was a writer and teacher, but I chose the Engineering path because I didn’t want to be poor or live the struggling artist lifestyle.

    1. Name

    2. How many scripts you’ve written?

    3. What you hope to get out of the class?

    4. Something unique, special, strange or unusual about you?

Hello all, my name is Stephanie Henry-Ricchi. I have been writing scripts diligently since about 2018 and fully committed to my career as a screenwriter. I am a published author and know the book world well but very excited to dive deeper into this industry. I have 3 full scripts and making my way up into the top percentages with recognition and accolades.

Writing movies that touch the heart and souls of humanity is the reason I am in this class but not in a way that deems me an expert to do so but because the experiences I have had (as we all have had) have brought us to a place to share, so it’s simply our turn, right?

I sold my ranch in Texas and went to live on my boat in Florida I 2021. I graduated college at the age of 55 with a BS in Sociology, Peace Studies and I have my Peace Corps prep certification.

    Hello everyone!

I have taught, lectured, mentored and written two books. As I approached another idea for writing, making it a screenplay had not been on my mind. However, I signed up because I realized that the approach in this course was what I needed.

My field has been the spiritual energy worlds which are very fascinating and for many like a Sci-Fi world.

I am excited to see what emerges as I sit i n the questions…
