Jan’s Intriguing Concept and World
WIL: Keep to plane, rasp and file
1. Present your Concept.
A military police officer returns home from a war zone to assist with his father’s funeral, only to find his mother dead as well. Suspecting foul play, he takes on his corrupt hometown and own relatives to uncover a dark conspiracy to steal potable water from the public. As he investigates, he transforms from an investigator to a vigilante seeking justice for his parents’ deaths.
2. Tell us the World of this show.
Unique Sub-World: The web of corruption in a small German town is unique and insidious. <div>
<div>
Previously unexplored: How to silently suppress justice for your own family’s tribe and personal gain
TheUnknown: The discreet charm of a German mid-sized town’s bourgeoisie cobweb in the 21st century.
The Unseen: A town selling its water and well rights for a few million dollars under the guise of secrecy, knowing that its citizens will suffer as a result. A vigilante takes on the fight for the people’s rights and investigations fail;
Unheard of Dangers: A powerful conglomerate is determined to make people worldwide pay for access to potable water, risking the lives of millions.
Reason to explore it: Explore New Ways to Keep Your Heritage and Surroundings Alive.
The Thirst World: A web of conglomerates pressuring and bribing town hall representatives and political networkers to sell water and well rights for millions, all in pursuit of making billions. Private landowners and anyone who stands in their way are being killed as preparation for a world where we must all pay to avoid dying of thirst.

Cat Miggs Intriguing Concept and World
What I learned doing this assignment is the more I brainstorm and just put down ideas on paper my show grows and grows.
Presenting my Concept:

However when she is given a second chance at life she owes the trees a favor and is magically bonded to help the forest fight against a magical disease.
She discovers that before when she was following social rules it never worked out for her, now it’s time to make her own rules.
She adventures into the magical side of our national parks.
2. The World of this show:
Unique sub-world– the Magical world of our National Park/Forest
Previously unexplored– the inside thoughts of what nature thinks of humans
The unknown– why is the forest being attacked
The unseen– a presence that the forest feels but can’t see
Unheard of dangers– from wild animals, to crime, to climate change
Reasons to explore it– how to save a forest from the unknown.

Karen Christine´s Intriguing Concept and World
My show THE GOOD BANKER
First of all: Thank you, Jan, for the addition in the title 🙂
What I learned doing this assignment is to keep close to your main character while building a “big” world for him to act in.
1. Concept:
Having lost his money, his family and his reputation through a scam, good banker Wolf-Dieter has to immerge deep into the world of crypto banking.
In his attempt to detect the scammers he quickly grows from white-vest banker to ruthless wirepuller in a territory that is strange, speculative and free from rules and regulations.
Inspired by his unexpected success and admired by his competitors he gets a second chance to rebuild his reputation: by causing the downfall of everyone who has let him down, including the whole bank company.
Hook 1: How does a man who has lost everything survive in an unexplored world and quickly become an expert and influencer himself?
Hook 2: How does one person cause the downfall of a whole banking institution with literally few clicks?
2. World:
Unique Sub-World: the unexplored world of crypto banking where few clicks can decide on wealth or ruin.
Unexplored: Where all the money goes and how to get it back when you have been scammed.
Unknown: How rules and regulations have to look like in the future, and how you find perpetrators when all they need is a wallet and a password.
Unseen: Investigation in a world that is dangerously silent, building itself up all over the world and in places you would not recognize as “where the big money is being moved within seconds”.
Unheard of dangers: Everybody with a little luck, budget and strategy can become rich and the next ruler – if you want it or not. Huge power and pressure can go into the hands of persons and criminals you never see or hear from.
Reason to explore: The world of crypto banking is a huge gate that is already opened – delivering many chances and as many pitfalls.

KZ’s Intriguing Concept and World
What I learned doing this assignment is that I was slowing down because I wanted to think it through until it was just right, and that I needed to just fill in the blanks with the idea of coming back to it later.
1. Concept
A. Amnesiac CIA Agent accused of murder…
B. …discovers he’s a fictional character…
C. …who, before he is made to commit unspeakable acts, must wrest control of his story from his creator…
D. …at the intersection of the real and fictional worlds.
2. The World of this Show
- Unique sub-world: Fictional characters living parallel existences to their real counterparts
- Previously unexplored: A world where it’s possible to rewrite your story
- The Unknown: Who will get killed off next by the cruel creator
- The Unseen: The machinations of real-life characters
- Unheard of Dangers: Characters at the mercy of the creator’s mood swings
- Reason to explore it: To stop being a puppet on a string, to save his true love

Hi KZ,
thank you for sharing your learning.
It´s exactly what I experienced.
I had to put the framework aside for a moment, seeing it as a great treasure and resource, and I will make my changes in it later.
Let´s keep moving forward and filling in the blanks with ease 😉
Enjoy your day,
Karen Christine
