Lloyd loves Getting 50 Script requests
What I learned from this assignment is you’re still on your own to get agents and managers as well as producers to talk to you.
Working hard every day to become the best writer I can be and as a result I do become the best writer in Hollywood.
I have already started. I am buying LA 411 I have taken my BWTV series Benjamin Greene and Letters from Baghdad and pitched it to several producers. I have a pitch meeting next week and plan on going to Vegas early 2024 to a writer’s conference to sign an agent. This is by far the hardest part of the whole course as there is no clear path or list of agents and producers.
I have already received 5 script request and put my scripts into WB and Paramount for review.

“What I learned from doing this assignment is…
I am one step closer to getting my movie made – I can’t wait!!!The ONE THAT GOT AWAY – A Fisherman’s Tale
A fisherman is determined to catch the fish he blames for his younger brother’s death, however, in the end, it turns out the fisherman is the one who had gotten away.ASSIGNMENT
Give us your Genre, Title, and Concept.
DRAMA / SUSPENSE
The ONE THAT GOT AWAY – A Fisherman’s TaleA fisherman is determined to catch the fish he blames for his younger brother’s death, however, in the end, it turns out the fisherman is the one who had gotten away.
2. In one or two sentences, tell us what you think is most attractive about your story. This is a Fisherman’s Tale that encompasses many of the wonderful things about fishing. As a fisherman fishes he reminisces about his father, his brother and why he’s fishing now; what started out as fun has turned to revenge with a twist in the end. Who knew catfish grew so BIG!
3. Tell us which you will target FIRST — managers, producers, or actor’s production company — and why you picked that target.
Management companies who produce?
Small producers who are connected to any of the above?
Indie producers? This is a “artsy” movie that has everything to do with cinematography on a low-budget and I figure these are the people most likely capable of making that style of movie.

Margaret’s project & market
What I learned: The importance of specifying who you will market before designing the pitch.
Title: The Rock of Cashel
Genre: Fantasy Drama
Concept: A slave becomes a priest and fights druids and creatures from Ireland’s Otherworld to save the king and change the culture of a nation.
What I like about my screenplay: It is a unique blend of historical legend and fantasy, focusing on the transformative journey of (St.) Patrick. This take on Patrick hasn’t been done before.
Who I will target: Angel studios since they are faith-based and just released a fantasy film.
