Chris’s outline exchange.
Looking to partner up with someone. The structure is somewhat non-linear, so it important to pay attention to superimposed dates. Also, some may find the topic (racism in the 20th century) controversial.
-
I’ll partner with you. As long as you like fantasy stories with dragons.
-
-
Okay. But I can’t figure out how to send a private message.

Hey Deanna, I could swap outlines with you?? I’m doing a pilot, so if you feel comfortable looking over that I’d love to begin!

Hi Zenna, that would be great. A couple caveats:
1) my outline is long, over 30 pages. Too much detail, but I don’t think at this point I would get much value from feedback on just the Big Picture stuff. I’m looking for feedback on whether the story makes sense or if anything is confusing.
2) I won’t be able to work on feedback for you until Saturday evening, so it won’t be quick turnaround.
If you are okay with that, mail your pdf to degscripts@gmail.com and send a quick note to my not-as-secure email address salistas11@hotmail.com to let me know you sent it. 🙂-
Great! Thanks Deanne! Lets do it! I will send along my outline tomorrow along with the notes I’m looking for. The timeline for Saturday is great. Please send the outline to zenna.aviden@gmail.com

Looking for feedback! I’m doing a 60 min Pilot episode, so if there is someone who is working on television, perhaps we can link up? Otherwise, happy to send to whoever will look! Currently at 8 pages.

Lora provided some solid feedback that strengthened my outline. Now I’m looking to partner with someone to give it a second look. Takers?
-
Hey Chris! I’ll exchange with you! Please send your outline to zenna.aviden@gmail.com
Let me know where I can send mine to!

Lora’s Outline Exchange
Looking for a second outline exchange. Have no bias against any kind of script. My outline is 6 pages. Fantasy script that also touches on racism.

Hey anybody, I got great feedback from Lora and in the next day or two will need to switch feedback from someone else, my dark and compelling drama about a stripper, her daughter and twisted step parents outline is 11 pages. Anybody interested?
Thanks for your consideration and let me know, xo E:)

Hi Elizabeth, I’ll exchange feedback with you. My project is an R-Rated romantic comedy. Would this genre be of interest to you? It would be beneficial to me to get a female perspective on this story. Please let me know if you would like to exchange outlines. Take care and hope to hear from you.

Hi Everyone! I got honest feedback from three people (thank you so much!) so am moving onto the next part but I wanted to mention that I’d be more than happy to exchange scripts with anyone who wants to at the end of the class. 🙂
-
Hi Lora,
I realize you’ve already partnered three time. Would you have time for a fourth? I’d really like to exchange with you if that works. I do like dragons. My script is a supernatural thriller, probably PG-13ish.
Thanks! -Ed

Request to exchange feedback.
Just completed my outline – 9 1/2 pages. Horror. Rated probably PG-13.
Haven’t exchanged with anyone yet.
Thanks! – Ed

I will exchange with Edward if he is willing to exchange with me. Horror isn’t my specialty but I will give it my best. My script may not be down your alley either, though. I have written a drama based on my novel entitled: Infinite Darkness/Infinite Light. It is about reincarnation, past lives, karma and the theory that time is fluid and an illusion. If you are interested let me know and I’ll give you my email address and we can exchange scripts. Thanks Margaret P.S. My outline is 7 pages and 54 scenes.

Ed’s Outline Exchange 2
Got a fabulous review from Margaret. Changed genre as a result (light bulb!)
I’m interested in exchanging outlines one more time now that I’ve made changes.
Mine was Horror. Now it’s Thriller. (More specifically, Supernatural Thriller)
9 1/2 pages–rating probably PG-13.

Outline Exchange with Edward.
Edward and I exchanged outlines and it seems we were definitely meant to communicate. He was very helpful to me and I am wondering if I need to make the transitions to the past lives more like Outlander with a portal jump or some such thing. I am adapting my novel entitled Infinite Darkness/Infinite Light to this script. A tough assignment, as novels are sometimes a tough transition to film. I feel like I need to step back at this point and get some distance from my script of a few days. I bet a lot of people feel like that can’t “see” their own scripts clearly at times…too close. That’s why this feedback was helpful.
