David Wickenden Edited TV Pitch Bible
What I learned from doing this assignment?
The process streamlines the pitch so that it is crisper and to the point. It got rid of the ‘fluff’. The spreading of the elements created a lot of white space, which makes it easier and quicker to read. The positioning of the headings helped clean up the pitch, so that everything is easy to find.
Unsure if we are supposed to post the edited version due to space issues.

David Thompson Edited Pitch Bible
What I learned is I tend to use too many words, probably a hold over from writing books, versus screenplays.
I hit each line in the bible, attempting to make each character and episode description as brief, yet intriguing, as I could. Then I turned my attention to the summery, which shied away from my scrutiny, but I beat it into submission, and yet – it still needs work.

What I learned doing this assignment is as efficient as I thought I’d written my first draft, there is so much more I can weed from each row and highlight.
Tell us what this process did for your TV Pitch Bible.
This has made my Bible much more readable and opens a lot more white space for a more inviting look.
