Elisabeth’s Outline to Script
What I learned doing this assignment: Since I am writing a completely new script, I learned with pleasure that this process for rewriting works perfectly well when I am about to construct a new story.
Thank you so much for this course! -
Jacqueline’s outline to Script
What I learned doing this assignment is how the other character’s journeys are so much stronger from the past week’s work and how the script feels more rounded as a story.
5 totally new scenes. At least ten scenes changed, probably more!

Connie’s Outline to Script
What I learned from doing this exercise is that there can always be improvements to a script. This was an interesting approach to make the changes to the outline and then move them to the actual script. I feel that the changes made this way were meaningful improvements.
I added 4 new scenes, deled 5 scenes, and changed 27 scenes.

What I learned doing this process is being able to see new and improved scenes. There were several new scenes as well. I moved scenes around and deleted scenes for a better flow. I also discovered that I could have been more inclusive of scenes in the outline. This assignment was enlightening process. I saw an area where I need to work more on flow but will improve it with time and as we move forward.

11. June Fortunato Outline to Script!
What I learned doing this assignment:
I always start with an outline and rearrange scenes as I write the script. This project is particularly dramatically changed because I’ve rewritten my short story into a screenplay. So far I have the first act. With this course, I am focused on hitting the structure and turning points, which, I think, dramatically improves the suspense and pace.
Act 1 of Katie and Ti or Liberation
42 scenes
5 new scenes
5 new segments of scenes
More twists in each scene.
A con game in almost every scene.
Number of scenes moved to a different place from outline to script – 40 of the 42.
Scenes cut from outline 5
The antagonist’s character is more developed, and I’m focusing on her as I move forward.
thanks for the jollies!

What I learned from this assignment is filling in a few pot holes for better understanding of my script. Descriptions of Characters and their names are important for readers to help remember them better. I changed the flow in one area of the script.

CJ’s Outline to Script!
WIL: This was great to see my new scenes and elevated scenes come together. Found a few that need to be “smoothed” in the process of the actual rewriting the full script to make the new scenes integrated.
Added: 5 new major scenes
Changed: 10 or so
Expect a few more to be updated during the full rewrite.

Subject: Monica’s Outline to Script!
What I learned doing this assignment is that the outline is a very useful tool to help you focus your thoughts on re-writing a script. I found it very useful considering I rarely have used an outline.
New Scenes: 18
Changed Scenes: 40

[Pro Rewrite] Lesson 11 Assignment- Robert Daniel’s Outline to Script
What I learned from doing this assignment is that I can save myself hours and days of time spent only rewriting the changes from the outline.

REWRITE ASSIGNMENT ELEVEN
FRAN’S OUTLINE TO SCRIPT
WHAT I LEARNED: Just apply everything I’ve learned in my classes to a rewrite. And just keep rewriting wherever needed.
This script in part one kept about half, but I knew this one needed a total overhaul. Part two was pretty much an entire rethink let alone rewrite. So, I think I kept about half but the other half, it was a total rewrite, and it really started with the outline/beatsheet.
And there will continue to be rewriting for awhile on this script.

Lori’s Outline to Script
My script needs several added scenes. I believe what is needed is a B story that relates well to the main story. The added scenes will be with one of my triangle characters, and I’ve also added a new character. Some of my existing scenes need changes as well. I’ve struggled with this script for a while, so this feels like a big breakthrough. I’m excited to see where it goes.

Susan’s Outline to Script!
What I learned doing this assignment: I believe I am learning to be more comfortable using misleading techniques and subtext, or at least I am hoping this is the case. These exercises are definitely increasing the quality of my script.
The results of this challenge was four new scenes, eight changed scenes, and deleting two scenes. I believe there will be more changes to come as we move forward.

What I learned is that I never posted this, having bounced around this and the next assignment, entertainment value. Missing scenes, rearranging scenes, and then realizing they weren’t funny since I’m rewriting a TV pilot into a comedy feature. More thinking to do between family vacations.
