Module 4 Lesson 11 Time to Exchange Feedback
Lenore Bechtel, your outline Berlin Rendevouz is interesting.
Mine is not nearly as detailed as yours, but if you like may we exchange outlines?
Thank you.

Sent out and revised my outline from notes thanks to Lenore. She is working on an incredible project I think will be amazing. Best of luck Lenore!

Thanks for thinking my project is incredible. You already know I feel the same about yours, and I hope we get the opportunity to give feedback on each other’s finished script.

Module 5, Lesson 11
Margaret finishes Act 3
Vision: To be the best faith-based screenwriter
Progress: Finished Act 3! Looking forward to the final act. Understanding my characters better – makes it easier to write, know what they would say, how they would react.

WIM Module 5, Lesson 11
Lenore Bechtel Finishing Act 3
My vision: I want to create enough salable screenplays that an agent will want to market my work and recommend me for writing assignments.
What I learned from doing this assignment is that “It’ll come to me,” the lesson in Mastery session 18, is absolutely right.
Yesterday I knew I needed at least another 10 pages for my first draft of Dire Expectations, but I’d already written every scene in my outline, and felt adding to them would be padding.
I needed a new scene, but what? Today soon after I sat down at the computer, it came to me. Not only did a new scene present itself, it was a scene that was truly needed. Why hadn’t I thought of it before? Without it, an important character would not have been fully developed. Yay!
I now have an 82 page first draft that might or might not expand as I follow Hal’s instructions for Drafts 2, 3, and 4. I also have three montages that could be expanded to scenes if need be.

Alyssa Finishes Act 3
One Sentence Vision: To be the best writer I can be and a go-to writer in the industry, crafting scripts that become successful movies and make a lasting impact on people.
Speed-running this draft to honor the outline, then I will go back and make some changes to my outline and fill in a few of the gaps that I’m leaving behind. Definitely leaving more gaps than I’d like, but I do feel like I’m grasping the high-speed rules! Moving on to act 4 and the finish line (for now).

Adrienne – Finishing Act 3 Module 5 Lesson 11
My Vision: I am going to work as hard as I reasonably am able to succeed at script writing to be recognized by multiple movie producers as a skilled script writer, and to have my scripts produced worldwide.
I have learned from this assignment, don’t become discouraged if after I have written a dialogue to go back and rewrite it, corrections will come later.
Taking 5 minutes to write a and 5 minutes brainstorming, and rewarding myself, Great Idea.
Looking forward to Act 4

Melissa Barreca Finishing Act 3
My vision: Melissa Barreca is one of the most sought after writers in the movie industry because of the artistry of her writing, professionalism and exceptional ability to tell important, entertaining, joyful, and heartbreaking stories that inspire audiences and become legendary classics.
What I learned from doing this assignment is/How it’s going: I love where the story is going. I have only had to force myself to stop worrying about the words a few times, as quick writing becomes second nature and acceptance of imperfections remains the order of the day. I do have to be mindful but it’s a simple shift of mindset and I’m back to pounding keys.
-
Veronica Turowski’s Finishing Act 3
My Vision: I want to be a successful writer who writes several scripts yearly and then sells them to producers who create my vision for the big screen.
What I learned from doing this assignment is even though I am a few assignments behind, I will not stop the momentum. When I realized I was looking things up and began rewording some dialogue I didn’t like, I stopped myself and moved forward.
