Adite is ready for Feedback!
What I learned: The Framework needs to be highly engaging (still a work in progress), precise, and easily accessible when writing.
Breakthroughs: The major breakthroughs I have had through this module: a) AI is a useful tool, and needs to be used to clarify thoughts, “after” I have done my own brainstorming b) going through the BW Framework a few times has helped me fine-tune my story further.
Note: Looking forward to feedback and I’m happy to return the favor – please email me at adite.screenwriter@gmail.com. Thanks. -
Jeffrey Alan Chase is ready for feedback!
What I learned doing this assignment is I was able to fix some issues I had with several lessons. I either erroneously copied an original prompt or entered bad info into the prompt. Rather than having it take me hours and hours to redo lessons 10, 11 and 12, it took me about a half-hour to get the chat returns I wanted. I also used my BW Framework from my previous BW class. I wanted to know about my main six characters, and I got what I wanted. Very cool indeed. I’m ready for your feedback and happy to offer mine. Contact me at : jeff@chaseinternet.com.

Let me know if you’d like to exchange.
What I learned from this Lesson of doing the BWTV Framework was amazing. I filled out the framework the first time and it was so wordy. SO I went back in and made it more concise but also more engaging with a hook. The more I did this, the more I was able to grasp and see the characters and story. It certainly helps with your pitch or someone decide if they want to see your story. It’s almost like the BWTV Framework is your “trailer” to entice someone. It was a lot of work BUT all the different elements and questions we had to ask ourselves help to fill out the story in an engaging way and make it deeper and better. My email address for feedback is: Jacquelinemurphy13@me.com Would love to work with you! Best, Jacqueline-

Margaret has completed the BW Framework!
What I learned: Lots of moving parts! I am trying to get my arms around everything I know about the plot/characters. This format is a great way to visualize quickly but I’m having trouble being concise!

Etta is ready for Feedback
What I learned doing this process is that I am rather verbose and it has been a challenge whittling things down, but I have been able to do that some. I didn’t get the kind of help I wanted from AI to make it more concise but that’s probably because I am not asking questions the right way. I realize there is a little bit of perfectionism in me and I have been scared of not having it good enough to proceed. But I remind myself how confident I am at creating a really good framework (hands over heart). This has been a hard but very good exercise.

Chuck is ready for feedback!
What I learned doing this process is that I actually had too many ideas and too many characters with too much complicated detail to describe succinctly. Re-watching shows and referring to the BWTV Framework examples helped me to narrow down and get to what I think is the essence of the 3 most important characters. I’m sure their relationships with each other and connected characters will drive emotional connections that will be at least as interesting if not more so than just my original plot-forward design. Candidly, this BWTV Framework assignment was my longest by far, taking me nearly 8 hours… and I feel like there’s still work I could do. I’m wide open to others’ input to make it the best it can be.

Jason has completed the BW Frame Work.
What. I learned doing this assignment is that I had a lot more material to fill in the framework than the space provided. I did each lesson individually as well as group for each of my characters. This really helped expand the different ideas for each of the characters and has helped direct the characters in new and exciting directions.

Denice Is Ready for Feedback
What I learned doing this assignment is that this framework forces you to hone down your ideas. Not always easy, but worth it and exciting when it happens. My genre is YA fantasy if you’re interested in giving me feedback.

I am ready for feedback if you haven’t found anyone to exchange with.
Brian Bull
GENRE: Drama / Comedy / Romance
CONCEPT: An Optometrist creates a pair of glasses from a crystal ball that enable him to see the future.
BIG PICTURE HOOK: Dr. Jim Brown “sees” an attempted murder through his “psychic glasses” and he must try and prevent it from happening. He also “sees” the girl of his dreams though she has no love interest in him and just wants to be friends.

Barbe has completed the BW Framework!
What I learned doing this assignment is that it’s neat seeing it all laid out and accessible at once. That’s also a great way to compare and contrast with the AI suggestions. Looking forward to the magic of Module 2!

Phyllis has completed the BW Framework.
I learned that AI is a good tool for suggestions but I have to take them and put my own spin on them, make them my own.

I have done the framework. The story is not completely there, but the characters are. What I have learned is that the character work is critical to putting the whole framework of the story together. The quality of the characters is what will sell the piece. AI is extremely helpful in managing the pieces. I have so much in my chatgpt that it is hard to go back and look at things. I have had conversations with AI, asked for a lot of brainstorms, and this has certainly helped. For brainstorming the Bible and episodes, I may have to start a new chat for it. I found if I only let AI give me the answers, it kept kind of going in circles. I started with a genre that I had never worked with before, science fiction, and a concept that was slightly different from the current concept of AIs – they are not computer machines at all, which is what people will assume at the beginning. I had to explain all this to AI, then it came up with a lot of new things. Still in progress, though.

PJ has completed the BW Framework!
Creating this framework has inspired me to constantly refine my concept, conflict and characters resulting in profound breakthroughs in the evolution of my project, which is a Sci-Fi/Drama that combines elements of post-apocalyptic fiction, adventure, and some elements of mystery and thriller genres.

Patrick has completed the BW Framework!
I learned that the Framework is a great way to easily visualize a concise summary of the major elements of a project. I re-did some of the lesson prompts to try to improve the results. I understand that new ideas will be added as we progress.

BW TV Module 1 Lesson 13
Lenore Bechtel is ready for feedback
What I learned from this lesson is I had chosen the wrong character as protagonist. So I now have a newly worded concept.
My complete characters profiles are in Lesson 11.
Project Title: Hypnotized by Hope
Concept: Joshua’s girl Friday Lilly—who is ghostwriting his self-help book—must keep scandal reporter Quinten Quebeck from discovering his zany methods of dealing with an invisible schizo, a fatty impersonator, and a past life regressor, while coping with a ditzy new-hire who’s driving her crazy. All goes further awry when a secret from Joshua’s illegal past threatens to destroy his reputation and her chance for a best-selling book.

What I learned doing this assignment is that filling in the blanks has a domino effect. One idea leads to another leads to another. I still have further to go, so this Framework is definitely a work in progress. I had previously taken analog BWTV, and this Framework is much more detailed, thanks to AI refining the list. So it really does help to have a Writing Buddy.
-
Janeen has completed the bingeworthy framework.
What I learned is that AI is much better at shortening and summarizing than I am.
-
Joan Macbeth has completed the BW Framework!
More or less. It is still a work in progress, but getting there.
What I learned doing this process is that my “Circles of Characters” is more of a “Venn Diagram of Characters.” I understood the concept of concentric circles being Main Characters, Connected Characters, and Environmental Characters, but I have a situation where the two leads interact with each other, and they each interact with with connected characters in their own environments, but those two environments and their characters don’t overlap until much later in the show. So, just mulling that over and moving on.

Jenn has completed the BW Framework!
What I learned doing this assignment: I had to amp up a few places that I’d previously thought were ready go to. Seeing it all laid out in a simple, precise way was very helpful, because it forced me to compare and contrast all the elements, and those that weren’t quite as dramatic really stood out. I actually found a new element to add that helped one of my characters gain more depth.

Pat has completed the BW Framework!
This has been a challenge for me. Once I got the Irony prompt to deliver really cool, usable ideas I started to grasp the idea of Bingeworthy. Let’s see how this all falls together.

I have completed my framework. If anyone would like to share, it is jerryr48@gmail.com. I would be glad to reciprocate.
Concept:
In a future where holographic entities coexist
with humans, “Holographic Threads” weaves a tale of intrigue,
conspiracy, and the delicate balance between technological utopia and societal
chaos.-

Sylvia has completed the BW Framework!
What I learned doing this process is…I hadn’t realized all the steps we had taken already. Using this exercise truly brought so much together that is making this story make sense. And, it’s not bad at all. I may have something there. Thank you!
