    1. Subject: Andre’s Actor Attractors!

    2. My one-sentence vision for my success from this program.

To learn how to write the
best script(s) of my life, so far, by dramatically improving the quality of my
writing in the genres of Action, Erotica, and Horror; while having both the
Financial and Time resources to travel the world doing so, with colleagues /
friends /peers, (the few that I have).

What I learned from doing this assignment is, <b style=”background-color: var(–bb-content-background-color); font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>My Decision Process.

Creating and A-List Character is just about making a series of intelligent decisions.

Decision 1: Make sure these two roles clearly deliver well on the concept.

Decision 2: Create strong answers to the Actor Attractors that make these Characters unique, interesting, and appealing.

Have fun, first draft, write it out. Have Fun!

<b align=”center”>Actor Attractors Template (rough draft) Movie Title: THE PLANETARY PRINCE Lead Character Name:

    A. INDIGO.

    B. The DRAGON

    a. The PLANETARY PRINCE, The DEVIL.

    b. LUCIFER.

    c. SATAN.

    Why
would an actor WANT to be known for this role?

    A. Near Death Experience that is not properly diagnosed due to medical incompetence, used as scapegoat by corrupt authorities with ulterior motive. He is used as a pawn by human systems and the devil.

Human Protagonist whose guardian angel turns out to be the planetary prince, whom is the devil. Specially chosen.

    B. In all administrative work of a local universe, no high trust is deemed more sacred than that reposed in a Planetary Prince who assumes responsibility for the welfare and guidance of the evolving mortals on a newly inhabited world. And of all forms of evil, none are more destructive of personality status than betrayal of trust and disloyalty to one’s confiding friends.

    What
makes this Character one of the most interesting Characters in the movie?

    A. NDE (Near Death Experience). Parallel life, crosses the Veil. Even though he isn’t aware she is pregnant, he somehow knows his child is in danger and is murdered (aborted). Which raises the question, do men have a soul connection with their children and how does this affect them? Is it just her body-her choice, or is there more to pregnancy?

    B. The “Devil” is none other than Caligastia, the deposed Planetary Prince of UrantiaEarth, and a Son of the secondary order of Lanonandeks, and the guardian angel of our protagonist. They both have unresolved daddy issues- fatherhood abandonment.

    What
are the most interesting actions the Lead takes in the movie?

    A. Near Death Experience and father abandonment.

    B. In the flesh, Lucifer, Satan, and Caligastia are leaguered together to effect the miscarriage of mankind. “The Dragon” eventually becomes the symbolic representation of all these evil personages.

    How
is this character introduced that could sell it to an actor?

    A. Mental health session undergoing depth psychological session into his NDE near fatal vehicle accident.

    B. Like a bolt of Lightning, they don’t fall from the sky, they descend to enter court for the trial of Gabriel vs. Lucifer; all 100 incorporeal members of The Devil’s Team.

    What
    is this Character’s emotional range?

    A. Abandonment. Betrayal. Loss of life, his own and his child.

    B. Fear. Hate. Abandonment. Individualistic and opportunistic. social, businesslike, calculating, witty, well-bred. Fire sign.

    What
    subtext can the actor play?

    A. Fatherhood abandonment. Betrayal. Courageous. Forthright. Lovable. Near Death Experience. Spinal cord disability and TBI. Manly.

    B. Sees mankind as evolved Ape. God doesn’t exist.

Experienced service in many systems. High counselor of his angelic group. Distinguished for wisdom, sagacity, and efficiency.

Benevolent. Brilliant. Deep. Empathic. Humorous. Prideful.

    <br clear=”all”>

    What’s
the most interesting relationships this character has?

    A. His guardian angel, whom saved his life during the near fatal vehicle accident, IS The Planetary Prince. Angry at being abandoned.

    B. Views himself as the steward and zookeeper of humanity as erect-upright gibbons.

Saved our Protagonist because of his gift for writing, and his abandonment as a child from his father. Uses the anger of abandonment of Indigo.

Very little was heard of LUCIFER on Urantia owing to the fact that he assigned his First Lieutenant, SATAN, to advocate his cause on our planet.

Lucifer (Not Satan, not the devil, was #37 of his order, and when commissioned by the Melchizedek’s, he was designated as one of the One-Hundred most able and brilliant personalities in more than seven-hundred thousand of his kind.

Satan is a brilliant creature of light. When Satan arrived on planet, his appearance in no way resembled our caricatures of his nefarious majesty. He was, and still is, a Lanonandek Son of great brilliance.

THEY are not the same BEING, but TOGETHER they known as the DRAGON. The “devil” is none other than Caligastia, the deposed Planetary Prince of UrantiaEarth, and a Son of the secondary order of Lanonandeks.

The Devil is The Planetary Prince of this world. He is the one who should be on trial, not Lucifer. Are we trying the wrong personality in Gabriel vs. Lucifer?

    How
is this character’s unique voice presented?

    A. Through writing. Fear of abandonment, and has difficulty keeping relationships out of fear of abandonment.

    B. Through fear and absentmindedness.

Planetary Prince- “I make people believe I am standing just beyond the entrance gate of the next life, waiting to claim them after death, for eternal punishment. Of course, I cannot punish anyone except in that person’s own mind, through some form of fear; but fear of the thing which does not exist, is just as useful to me as fear of that which does.

All forms of fear, extend the space I occupy in the human mind.

I add to my power by appropriating the mind power of the earth bound as they come through the gate at the time of death. 98/100 who come back to my plane from the earth plane, are taken over by me, and their mind power is added to my being.

I get all who come over with any form of fear.”

    What
makes this Character special and unique?

    A. The voice he heard that night of the accident, his guardian angel turns out to be The Planetary Prince. Due to his upbringing, he does not fear much, thus why he was chosen. Relates with Lucifers father abandonment of God.

    B. Non-flesh eater.

SATAN is a member of the same angelic primary group of Lanonandeks as the DEVIL, but has never functioned as a System Sovereign; he enters fully into the LUCIFER insurrection.

THEY are not the same BEING, but TOGETHER they known as the DRAGON. The “devil” is none other than Caligastia, the deposed Planetary Prince of UrantiaEarth, and a Son of the secondary order of Lanonandeks.

    Assignment : Module 3: Lesson 2

Vision: I want to write a smart, well-written, and blockbuster script which I can then produce and direct.

What I learned from doing this assignment is: how important it is to write characters that are attractive to actors.

Subject Line: WIM – Vernall Ritchey – Actor attractors!

    Lead Character Name:

    Role: Kyla (Protagonist)

    1. What about this role would cause an actor to want to be known for it? Sister Kyla Flores, goes from a compassionate caregiver deeply committed to her faith to being possessed with a demonic entity. The narrative takes unexpected twists and turns, challenging the audience’s assumptions about who the true antagonist is. The horror lies not just in supernatural elements but in the psychological and emotional unraveling of the characters.

    2. What makes this character one of the most interesting characters in your story? The main conflict in EviLives is between the characters’ religious beliefs and the presence of supernatural evil. Kyla’s fear and paranoia drive her to extreme measures to protect Father Gill.

    3. What are the most interesting actions the Lead could take in the script? Showing the range of hysteria as she unknowingly transforms into a demon.

    4. How can you introduce this role in a way that could sell it to an actor? Sister Kyla Flores becomes increasingly paranoid and fearful as she experiences supernatural events in a dilapidated convalescent house. She believes that Father Gill, a stroke victim, is possessed by a demon and takes extreme measures to protect him. As the story unfolds, Kyla’s own sanity and faith are tested, leading to a climactic confrontation between the forces of good and evil

    5. What could be this character’s emotional range? Kyla’s character arc follows a path from a compassionate caregiver to a twisted victim of possession. She starts out as a warm and caring individual deeply committed to her faith but falls into madness and fanatical beliefs. She then transforms into a terrifying presence consumed by demonic energy. However, despite being possessed, Kyla exhibits signals of regret and humanity, indicating her transformation is not complete, and she still holds on to a forlorn hope of redemption.

    6. What subtext can the actor play? Subtle Gestures:

    • Kyla, with her seemingly innocent gestures, always carries a small cross necklace. However, there are moments where she clutches it tightly, revealing an inner turmoil.

    • Kyla’s attentive caregiving takes a darker turn as she exhibits subtle, unsettling behaviors. Her touch becomes invasive, and her gaze lingers a little too long, creating an eerie atmosphere around her character.

    • Kyla’s caring gestures become increasingly possessive. A gentle touch transforms into a grip that borders on the invasive, reflecting the growing influence of the demonic entity within her.

    • Kyla’s caring demeanor masks subtle, sinister undertones that are expressed through small, seemingly innocent actions.

    1. What’s the most interesting relationships this character can have? The relationship she has with Father Gill. Kyla is a caregiver deeply committed to her faith, showing compassion and dedication to Father Gill’s well-being in the beginning. However, as she becomes increasingly paranoid and fearful, her desperation to protect herself from evil influences her actions, filled with pleas and prayers, reflecting her fear and desperation. Her speaking style becomes urgent and frantic as she struggles with her beliefs in the presence of a demon. As she faces the supernatural threat, Kyla transforms into a brave and determined protagonist, facing her fears with unwavering resolve and adapting to challenging situations. She then falls into a fanatical and manipulative state, resorting to extreme and sadistic measures during the exorcism. Finally, as she becomes possessed, Kyla transforms into a terrifying and seductive demonic presence.

    2. How will this character’s unique voice be presented? Her speaking style shifts from labored breaths to demonic snarls and growls, showcasing her transformation into evil. Despite her possession, she exhibits signs of humanity and regret, apologizing to Father Gill through sign language.

    3. What could make this character special and unique? She thinks prayer and her special concoction are the ways to expel the demon.

Role: Father Gill (Victim believed to be Antagonist)

    1. What about this role would cause an actor to want to be known for it? Showing how Father Gill’s physical limitations interact with the supernatural forces at play, exploring how he works around them to fight against evil. The narrative takes unexpected twists and turns, challenging the audience’s assumptions about who the true antagonist is. The horror lies not just in supernatural elements but in the psychological and emotional unraveling of the characters.

    2. What makes this character one of the most interesting characters in your story? Father Gill begins as an innocent and vulnerable character, initially suffering from a stroke that affects his speech. His physical limitations are a significant part of his character – he is forced to use sign language to survive and is bedridden for the 1st Act.

    1. What are the most interesting actions the Lead could take in the script? Performing an exorcism with sign language and a speech impediment due to stroke.

    2. How can you introduce this role in a way that could sell it to an actor? Introduced as a Victim in ACT I to being the Antagonist in ACT II becoming the savior in Act III.

    3. What could be this character’s emotional range? Father Gill begins as an innocent and vulnerable character, initially suffering from a stroke that affects his speech. He then becomes a victim of Kyla’s brutish exorcism, stripping him of his power and leaving him helpless. He then transforms into (what seems to be) a powerful antagonist, possessed by evil spirits. As his experiences with Kyla continue, the audience experiences a shift in perception and emotional state as they witness his unwavering faith and commitment to helping Kyla, who turns out to be the one possessed.

    4. What subtext can the actor play? Subtle Gestures:

    • Father Gill’s eyes often follow an unseen presence as well as Kyla, subtly hinting at the demonic entity’s presence.

    • Father Gill, despite his physical limitations, communicates through subtle gestures that hint at a deeper understanding of the supernatural. His eyes hold a knowing glint, and his fingers, when not in sign language, form a pattern that suggests protection.

    • Father Gill’s sign language takes on an otherworldly quality, with subtle protection gestures. His eyes convey a silent plea for understanding and comprehension.

    • Father Gill’s initially subtle gestures during his sign language conversations become more pronounced as the demonic presence within Kyla intensifies.

    1. What’s the most interesting relationships this character can have? The relationship he has with Kyla. Father Gill is an elderly priest who has recently suffered a stroke. He is vulnerable, but determined and devoted to his faith. He has a strong sense of humor and enjoys bantering with Kyla. His character evolves throughout the movie, from being a vessel for the evil spirits and a catalyst to the supernatural occurrences to being a victim of Kyla’s violence. He transforms from being vulnerable and spooked to a possessed individual who becomes the antagonist, to being a helpless individual who relies on Kyla for care. He later becomes a conflicted and remorseful priest who is haunted by his past actions, seeking redemption through his dedication to protecting Kyla and helping others. His speaking style is limited due to his physical restraints and stroke speech pattern, but he communicates primarily through his actions and sign language.

    2. How will this character’s unique voice be presented?

    1. What could make this character special and unique? Father Gill, is an elderly priest who has suffered a stroke and is thought to become a vessel for evil spirits.

Mod 3 – Lesson 2 – Actor Attractors for my lead characters

    Margaret Doner

    The Knowledge Keeper

My Vision: I find the time to create well-written scripts will sell and be produced

What I learned: Asking myself these questions before I tackle the script puts me well ahead of the game.

Two Actors: Arthur Pelias and The Knowledge Keeper

CONCEPT: In the future, in the attempt to wipe evil from the Earth, robots take away free will and allow only goodness, tasking one man, hidden away, to keep the historical records.

    Character One: Arthur Pelias

    1. What about this role would attract an actor?

It is a multi-level emotional range role. The character gets to go from the extreme of bland “goodness” to the other extreme of a “passionate” and deeply feeling individual.

    2. What makes the character one of the most interesting?

Not only is the emotional range vast, but also the actual worlds the character inhabits. This character will go from the future to the most savage past to uncover the historical truth of the human race.

    3. Interesting actions?

The interesting actions include participating in battle scenes, falling in love with a woman who dies in his arms, being the apprentice of the Knowledge Keeper, awakening his village to the truth

    4. How can you introduce this role in a way that could sell it to an actor?

That’s a tough one….still a little stumped on that. I feel that the opening of the script is good, it opens with a bang, but the opening scenes of Arthur are in the “pleasantville” world and aren’t powerful. I’m still wrestling with that and haven’t come up with the answer.

    5. What could be this character’s emotional range?

    Said earlier.

    6. What subtext can the actor play?

I think the subtext will be in the fact that Arthur is hiding the truth of his knowledge from the robots who control his world and also from the computer “god.”

    7. What’s the most interesting relationships the character can have?

With the Knowledge Keeper and with the woman who he falls in love with in the past. Although I am working on developing a interesting and conflicted relationship between him and Mathilda, the robot who is in charge of keeping him and his family safe and “in line.”

    8. How will this character’s unique voice be presented?

The voice will change as he evolves…from bland to passionate. Soft spoken to loud.

    9. What could make this character special and unique?

His passion and inability to “fit in” to society. Also I think I am going to have him injured and scarred in the past life, which he will bring into the future life….(present life for him). This scar will be different because everyone else is perfect…and will be why he is “found out.”

    ACTOR TWO: THE KNOWLEDGE KEEPER

    1. What about this role would attract an actor?

I believe that the Merlin-like or Dumbledore-like role of the wisdom keeper who awakens a member of the future-world in hope to reignite passion back into the world is deep and rich enough to attract an older actor.

    2. What makes the character one of the most interesting?

The character is the only one who remembers the true history of the human race. He records the history holographically, and opens portals back in time.

    3. Interesting actions?

Opening portals back into time, and time-travelling.

    4. How can you introduce this role in a way that could sell it to an actor?

The opening scene takes place in Vlad Dracula’s (Vlad Tepes aka Dracula) (a real historical character BTW) Forest of the Impaled. The Knowledge Keeper is recording the horrors of that experience and emerges through a portal from that scene into his “laboratory-like cave.”

    5. What could be this character’s emotional range?

Although the character is a hermit; we see that he longs for emotional connection with another person and enlists Arthur to be his protégé.

    6. What subtext can the actor play?

The Knowledge Keeper knows “all,” and so knows secrets that others do not. In the end I am playing with the idea that he is indeed, Merlin, and he and Arthur travel back to create Camelot. A utopia on Earth during the Middle Ages…no robots.

    7. What’s the most interesting relationships the character can have?

With both Arthur and the robots. After all the robots have almost enslaved him as well; making him hold all the historical records but keeping them away from other humans.

    8. How will this character’s unique voice be presented?

I think I will write him speaking as though he were Merlin from Camelot. Not “modern” English, but an old-fashioned edge.

    9. What could make this character special and unique?

His hidden fear: Although he seems “all-powerful” I think he needs a fear…the God-like computer cube also “knows all,” and is his rival. He must trick the cube in order to accomplish his goal. In otherwards, trick God, to accomplish his aim. His is afraid of the robot-computer power in that cube.
