As always we appreciate Hal and Cheryl, you two are probably tired of hearing, I love you guys, but we do for all the good you do. Thanks.
What I learned doing this assignment is…? Both protagonist and antagonist have secrets and do what they do for reasons.
The protagonist with a lifetime of depression paints so that as Paul Klee puts it, not to cry. His painting shows his problem but he well hides it. He also wants no journey since he has befriended darkness. As Jung says, if we don’t become conscious, then when the journey happens, we call it fate. Be that as it may, this is a journey script.
The antagonist is the change agent and does what he does for personal reasons. We are discussing those.
