WIL: setting foot into details, away from the focus on characters and flaws et al, thus keeping them in mind yet now structure story flows and acts.

1. Beginning: Oliver returns home to find both parents died within 48 hours. Suspecting foul play, he takes on his corrupt hometown and own tribe to uncover a dark conspiracy . …… Finding justice for his parents’ deaths, he turns to the new relationship and doesn’t realize that the mastermind still has them under surveillance, promising that the game just started .(Cliffhanger).

2. Mystery Set : Oliver investigates why his parents were killed, what have they done or hindered and who wanted them out of the way and who did it practically?

Mystery Solved: his father closed a deal to sell the shipyard for an enormous price but stepped back after his wife made him to. The mother was killed because she told a relative she would change the will and inherit everything to Oliver. By accident the will was changed indeed one day before the killers arrived and killed her. So now Oliver is in the way not knowing in the way of what.

Mystery 2 : What happened 18 years ago and made Oliver leave town?

Almost all tribe condemned and blamed him for causing the death of his former bestie when they were 16 and drove a car without license.

Solved : In fact it was Jürgen who caused the accident only to not run for help but away and lying to his father the car dealer, Oliver would have stollen the car. And the family didn’t believe and not strong enough to take a stand for him

Mystery 3 : Oliver works in therapy what is the true event that made Oliver the way he developed?

He was homosexually abused at the age of 7 by a way older teenager on his grannies birthday celebration when Hans was „hired“ to nanny the small kids of the tribe. And now 31 years he breaks free to bury this inside his soul.

3. Lead Character journey begins when Oliver faces the death of two of his soldiers in an ambush on his watch

Journey peaks, when he finds a way to kill the responsible for the dead of his father without turning into a vigilante.

Episode 10: Homecoming of a Son

Oliver decides to move to the shipyard and considers living there permanently. Marie surprises him with a revelation. Oliver and Marie break into the notary’s office for additional evidence but find the notary poisoned.

Cliffhanger: Just as Oliver and Marie discover a crucial piece of evidence in the notary’s office, they hear footsteps approaching, indicating that someone else is in the room with them.

Episode 11: Confronting the Culprit

They quickly hide, fearing they’ve been caught in the act. Oliver manages to call Petra from homicide

Oliver confronts Hans about the mounting evidence against him, leading to a heated exchange. Oliver opens up to Marie and Stefanie about his doubts and hopes for their relationship and the shipyard. He decides to confront the entire family with the truth, exposing Jürgen as the main villain responsible for his best friend’s death 18 years ago. Jürgen flees, and Johann receives a call while Clarice seeks help from her father’s driver.

Cliffhanger: As Oliver confronts Jürgen in a final showdown, Jürgen reveals a shocking revelation that turns Oliver’s world upside down, leaving him questioning everything he thought he knew about his past.

Episode 12: Out of Energy

Johann faces the consequences of his involvement in the conspiracy, and there is no room for negotiation. Oliver lays out that the Water Mill played a significant role in his parents’ deaths. But not Johann. Clarice manages to escape and flees the country. Oliver enlists the help of his ISAF friends to locate Clarice, who has risen to a prominent position in a renowned water and nutrition company in South Africa.

Cliffhanger: Oliver learns that Clarice is highly secured in Cape Town, there is access to her

Episode 13: The Healing Begins

Oliver explains Marie and Stefanie there is unfinished business and returns to his military camp and continues his duties. He visits Mohammad, the assassin from the first episode, offering him a deal that would grant him to walk with his family. The plan is set in motion and soldier friends around the globe assist to get Mohammad into South Africa. Clarice is ambushed near th a village that has been deprived of their water rights. operations in South Africa. Parallel to this operation, Oliver is shot in the thigh on his watch in Mali. Oliver sets Mohammad and his wife free and is flown back home for rehabilitation, where he reunites with Marie and Stefanie, starting the healing process and seeking a brighter future together.

Cliffhanger: Just as Oliver, Marie, and Stefanie leave the airport, an somebody is following them. As they don’t realize they are being closely pursued by a highly trained assassin, we hear in his earpiece, the command to eliminate Oliver, Cliffhanger setting the stage for S2

What I learned doing this assignment is every step by placing my brainstorm ideas that I know I will come back and fix later is helping me get clear on where I want to go.

Beginning– As Susan is saved from the trees we are introduced to a magical world of the forest that is in trouble and dying.

Ending– Wilma reveals a secret of Susan’s past.

Mystery 1 Set Up- Susan, a human, gains magic to communicate with the trees and see the magical world they live in, after the Trees bring her back to life. How did she get this power?

Mystery 1 Solved – Wilma reveals one secret that could possibly explain that Susan is way more connected to the forest then she and the forest thought she was.

Mystery 2 – Why is Susan the key?

Mystery 3 – When Susan does magic, good and bad happen at the same time.

Susan begins as a divorcee who lost child custody, is given a second chance at life but now indebted to the forest to help them

Susan’s end for this season as she is learning how to control her magic, what is her real connection to the forest?

Shocking Event: Susan gets shot, falls and bleeds out, to the next moment she wakes up, sits up and see the bullet is sitting next to her. A figure steps out of the tree and becomes a shape of the man of her dreams dressed in a forest ranger outfit.

She discovers that she has magic. Wilma is not happy that a human has gotten power

A Shadow is lurking around and more harm is happening then good

Episode 2- After a death of a ranger, Susan gets to step away from working the front desk to join the A-team

What I learned doing this assignment is that once you do the cheat sheet, the outline is very simple. The cheat sheet contains hundreds of ideas for episode. Deciding what to keep and not to keep is the difficult part. Deciding which aspects of the cheat sheet best tell the story is the challenge. I am anticipating that this may change as we get deeper into the module.

Question A: What is the Beginning of the season and the End of the season?

Question B: What possible cliffhanger could be in that last scene of the season, thus demanding that we watch the next season?

Beginning: Tony Jones wants more responsibility at Jones Farmacy, the cannabis company he and his father, Willie Jones co-founded. Due to Tony’s bad decisions prior to his sobriety, Willie is hesitant to give him more power. Elaine, Willie’s wife finally convinces him to make Tony interim CEO. Before he can share the news with Tony, his estranged nephew shows up with proof that Willie used his inheritance to fund Jones Farmacy. Henry demands to be repaid with interest or he’s going to the League of Cannabis Commissioners (LOCC), the legislative committee for licensed cannabis businesses, of which Willie is a member. In lieu of paying Henry a large chunk of money and arousing suspicion, Henry settles for the CEO position at Jones Farmacy. Tony learns of this and immediately resigns from the family business, and accepts a position with their number one competitor, Green Diamonds.

Ending: Tony has built a solid reputation in the cannabis industry, albeit pissing off his father and a few of the other commissioners. He has gotten the attention of the Governor and has been offered a position as Chief Deputy of the Cannabis Commission. This would mean the members of the LOCC, including Pete and Willie will now be answering to Tony. Heather learns of Henry blackmailing Willie and reaches out to their father with questions about the inheritance. Willie delays he and Elaine’s retirement plans due to all the mayhem happening at Jones Farmacy.

Mystery 1: (SETUP) What happens when Tony resigns from Jones Farmacy and goes to work for Pete Roberts? Tony leaves in haste after hearing that Henry will be CEO. His father is in a pinch and does not share with Tony or Elaine that he is being blackmailed by Henry. Soon thereafter, Willie’s nemesis, Pete Roberts offers Tony a position with Jones Farmacy’s biggest competitor, Green Diamonds. Tony accepts the position.

Mystery 1: (SOLVED) Tony experiences immediate success at Green Diamonds and gradually builds a reputation for himself among the cannabis industry heavy hitters. Mostly for Tony’s challenging of the decisions made by the LOCC, even getting the Governor’s attention. Green Diamonds pushes ahead of Jones Farmacy as the top black-owned cannabis brand. Willie feels betrayed and subsequently puts more of his time into plotting with Henry on how to bring down Pete and Green Diamonds, hoping this will bring Tony crawling back to Jones Farmacy. The Governor, however, has other plans for Tony’s future, offering him a position as Chief Deputy over the LOCC.

Tony experiences much success on his journey, building the business and securing his reputation in the cannabis world. He attracts the attention of the Governor and is appointed a position that would give him authority over his father.

Beginning: Tony is undervalued, overlooked, and given very little responsibility.

Ending: Very reputable in the cannabis industry, confident, knowledgeable, challenging the LOCC, and offered a position of authority.

What I learned: It´s interesting to watch how the story and each part now find their place, and how new elements come in. Focus and flexibility are both required.

Episode 1: Doing the right thing is not always good.

One day before his promotion to bank manager Wolf-Dieter is scammed in a big way. He is being told that his bank will be bankrupt in a handful of days, and he will be the hero having foreseen it and reacting properly. Convinced that he does the right thing to save all the money he follows the advice of the person on the phone who calls himself a manager of the European Central Bank – and transfers it to a Bitcoin account. Proud of what he has done. He really is and always was a good banker!

Episode 2: Party time – but not for him.

On the day of his official promotion there are no signs at all of a downfall of the bank – he realizes he has been scammed. He cannot enjoy his promotion party with many colleagues and friends congratulating, his wife prouder than ever … He experiences this day through a fog of shock and panic, trying to figure out a way to bring all the money back, before anyone notices. While everybody is making party, he´s in his office. Alone.

Episode 3: The gift that has no worth. And a huge company that is helpless.

It´s the weekend of his daughter Mia´s wedding. Argue with his wife Sabine, because he only brings a check, and not the romantic suitcase full of bank notes. The check is unbalanced – his daughter will find out soon. Wolf-Dieter lies and finds an excuse. He does not dare to talk to anybody about the scam and the big loss. First attempts to follow the money. But the company Bitcoin and not even the police (his old friend and neighbor Mike, police officer, was at the wedding party) can´t help him. The money is gone.

Episode 4: To pretend that it´s okay doesn´t make it ok.

Argue with Emma who works at the restaurant where he normally has lunch with colleagues. Wolf-Dieter is so stressed that everybody notices, in the office and at home (Sabine and Yannick, Mia has moved together with her husband) but he pretends everything is okay. He has a fit of dizziness at the restaurant. Emma helps him and calls a doctor. First wealthy clients call him, because they have noticed the money transfers. Wolf-Dieter does not call them back.

Episode 5: Pains, wounds and dreams.

Emma is deeply hurt by Jonas who does not want their baby. He tries to force her to abort it, but she won´t do it. Jonas dreams of a life Dubai. Juli who is working together with Jonas, has been there and praises it. The bank starts to investigate, because clients have noticed that their accounts are empty. Who caused all the transfers? Wolf-Dieter pretending he doesn´t know anything. Pressure rises. He meets Emma in town at night. They both open up and share their troubles.

Episode 6: The truth sometimes hurts.

Emma finds out that Jonas is not only dealing legally with crypto currencies like he told her, but has made a deal with somebody who promised him a huge share for a certain transfer. Is he the one who scammed Wolf-Dieter? She secretly opens his wallets. And is shocked as she finds transfers that fit to what Wolf-Dieter has told her. Should she tell Wolf-Dieter? She decides no, and investigates herself.

Episode 7: Not proud of being in the news.

Wolf-Dieter loses his job, because the bank accuses him of the transfers – they don´t want to hear anything of a call from the European Central Bank that warned him of the bankcruptcy. Stress with Sabine and kids. He has to admit. Loses their confidence. He is in the news and newspapers, cover page. What a shame for a good banker like him who never did anything incorrect.

Episode 8: Losing Sabine, Mia and Yannick, and a friend.

Sabine asks WD to move out. He cannot find a hotel, because of no money. His credit cards are blocked, his accounts all empty, because he trusted the scammer. His friend and neighbor Bernhard, police officer, will not help him either. Bernhard through the scam as well (he had an account at Wolf-Dieters Bank, and several loans to fulfill) has lost all his hardly earned savings of which he wanted to buy an apartment for his wife on Gran Canaria for his silver wedding. Wolf-Dieter sits in the restaurant where Emma works until late night. Because Jonas is in Dubai attending a crypto event, Emma offers WD to sleep on the couch for 2-3 nights.

Episode 9: Still trying to be good – and being arrested.

Wolf-Dieter breaks into his former office in the bank to safe client data and to find out if one of his co-workers has had information about the scam or some kind of bankruptcy.

He is still convinced that he works for the good – he´s willing to pay every Cent back as soon as he has found the scammers and the money. Police is coming, because someone from an office in the neighborhood saw him at night opening drawers … they arrest him and lead him out of the bank.

Episode 10: Jealousy and harmony. Both unexpected.

Emma is attacked by Jonas who comes back earlier, finding some traces of Wolf-Dieter in their apartment. Jonas is jealous, and believes Emma has an affair. Yannick and Emma meet in front of the jail for the first time. Immediate sympathy. Maybe more?

In jail WD gets unexpected visit of Yannick who tells him his mother Sabine started to date Axel. Axel was a former friend and colleague in the bank – until Wolf-Dieter uncovered some irregularities in the allocation of loans. Axel was fired. Right now he is manager in a Swiss private bank. Wolf-Dieter hasn´t thought of him again. Why does Axel appear right now?
