    Judith’s Villain Plan – Lesson 5 – Homework

What I learned is to look at my villain in a different way and try to find ways to make this script have intrigue by having a devious, clever villain.

    My Villain’s Plan:

    1. Create the end goal of the Villain. What are they trying to accomplish or stop that is so valuable that they’ll go to any means to achieve the goal?

He wants to keep hiding that he is getting coeds pregnant to take a serum from their aborted fetus to keep himself young. If he feels threatened of exposure, he does not hesitate to kill the coed. He has been doing this for over 100 years.

    2. Look for how the Villain might execute the plan. What would need to take place to make that plan happen in a covert way? Brainstorm devious, dangerous, covert, and even disturbing ways your Villain could make all of this could happen.

Professor Mimosa is a well-liked, highly decorated college professor. The students, male and female adore him. The faculty thinks he’s the best. He’s a great teacher. He moves to different campuses when he feels his secret could be revealed or he kills the coed, and she disappears, and no one knows what happened to her. Our Protagonist gets involved in solving the case, and tells the Professor what he is finding out and discovering.

    3. How can the villain’s plan and their actions be covered up?

He covers up his plan by secretly seducing the young coeds by pretending to be helping them academically. They don’t want to reveal their involvement with the Professor, so they hide it from their dorm mates and friends.

There is a scene where the Professor is honored, and the students reinforce what a great guy he is.

When the Protagonist’s mother comes to the campus for Parent’s Day, and she is a former coed who escaped his abortion with our Protagonist, he kills her to cover up his secret.

He points the Protagonist in a different direction, red herring, when the kid confides in him. Perhaps pointing out devious actions the other person has been involved in, some of which are true.

    4. Sequence them to make it as intriguing as possible — starting with a first event that is dangerous.

Our Protagonist is troubled every year a week before his birthday with nightmares. To calm himself down, he goes for a run, and runs into an old man carrying a bloody package who disappears in one of the buildings.

The Professor invites the Protagonist to join his mentoring team. He thinks he has great potential. Or perhaps to learn how to do lucid dreaming to help him with his nightmares.

The Protagonist and his friends find bodies of coeds buried in the woods by the campus. The Professor dismisses class telling the students to take care of themselves because of the tragedy. Swears that the perpetrator will not get away with the murders.

The Protagonist confides in the Professor that he knew and dated the latest girl killed.

The Professor tells the police about the Protagonist, and he gets taken in for questioning. The Protagonist does not know the Professor turned him in.

Each time the Protagonist confides in the Prof, he looks more and more guilty.

After the Protagonist’s mother is killed, he finds a clue, as to whom the killer might be, the Professor.

The kid breaks off relationships with the Professor, and he becomes suspicious of the Protagonist.

They seek more and more evidence against the Prof but the school dismisses it because of his popularity. They are on their own.

The Prof kidnaps one of the investigators and challenges the Protagonist to saving her.

The Prof escapes with the girl from the Protagonist, but he finds where they went. He sees the old man from the beginning turn into the Professor. The Prof asks him to join him in eternal life, because he is his son. He refuses and defeats the prof and saves his friend.

Subject: Monica’s Villain Has a Great Plan!

What I learned doing this assignment brainstorm ways
to make the Villain as ruthless as possible in achieving his goal by asking the
    questions.
    <div>

To create your Villain’s plan, answer these four questions:

    What is the end goal?

GOAL: To put himself in charge of the “glass” society.

How can the Villain accomplish that in a devious way?

INTRIGUE: Has access and the expertise to turn all cameras off but make it look like they’re still working. Uses and disposes of his inner circle when they’ve served their purpose. Lies and manipulations.

How can they cover it up?

COVERS SECRETS: Hides his plan of taking over the “glass” society. Secret team of killers who live off-the-grid.

Sequence it to make it as intriguing as possible.

    A. Kill a senior member of the ruling council.

    B. Manipulated the transparency cameras to make it look like the senior member died a natural death.

    C. An investigation is launched determining the death is murder – but how did that happen with all those cameras on everyone?

    D. Partner himself with the Administrator’s (hero) investigation to steer it the way he wants it to go.

    E. Psychologically manipulate the Administrator to force her to doubt her own mind.

    F. Kill anyone who gets in the way, making it look like the transparency cameras are glitching.

    G. Call the selection committee to have the Administrator placed on leave.

    I. Manipulate the selection committee to have himself deemed Administrator.

    Brenda Clarke VILLAINS PLAN

What I learned is that if you can make a GREAT Villain, then it makes the movie more intriguing. Its also very different by starting from the antagonists perspective, rather than from the Hero’s point of view. Not sure if I have it all figured out just yet, but I’m learning heaps doing this course:)

    1. GOAL to Abduct the guilty man who murdered his father and slowly torture him to death. 2. How can he accomplish this in a devious way?

The Villain discovers the identity of his father’s killer, who is now a successful and influential individual. His goal is to track him down, kidnap him and subject them to a series of twisted psychological tortures reminiscent of the trauma the villain experienced due to their father’s death. These tortures are carefully designed to push him to the brink, forcing them to confront their own guilt and fear. The Villain films the ordeal, sending snippets of the torment to his wife/daughter, to drive a wedge between them.

    3. How can he Cover It Up?

The Villain murders some of his opposing Triad leaders and plants false information, including fabricated communications, staged interactions and manipulated audio or video recordings that make it seem like John was complicit in these events. This could involve manipulating online forums, social media and anonymous tips to lead investigators and his daughter down false paths. By sowing confusion and misinformation, the Villain aims to create a narrative that distances them from the crimes he did himself.

The Villain establishes alibis that put them in different locations during the times when the killings take place. This could involve having a girlfriend vouch for his presence, using technology to manipulate security footage or electronic records and strategically placing themselves in public spaces to ensure that they are seen and accounted for.

    4. Sequence it to make it intriguing as possible.

    1. Abduct the wife/mother to find out where John is.

    2. Whilst tracking down John, The Villain murders some of the opposing Triad leaders and make it seem like John has committed these killings to manipulate the police and distance himself from the crimes.

    3. He establishes false alibis for these killings, to put the police off track.

    4. He finds John and abducts him, takes him to a secret location and begins to slowly torture him.

    5. He receives news that the daughter and ex Martial Arts Instructor, rescued the mother and are now after him.

    6. He takes John and moves him to a hideout up in the mountains, which is difficult as John now has severe injuries, leaving a trail of blood.

    7. The daughter tracks her father’s blood and because of her investigation into the Villains past finds their final hideout, an old house in a remote village that belonged to his grandfather. (Where he and his family used to go on holiday when he was a child)

    8. A fight ensues between the Villain and the daughter, the daughter wins, killing the Villain and rescuing her father.

Tim Barley’s Villain (Nocturne) Has a Great Plan!

What I learned from doing this lesson is that I had a good idea for a villain and a plan, but not a real plan. It’s beginning to take shape, although I am keeping it basic for now due to a possible major twist ending.

    1. Villain’s (Nocturne’s) End Goal:

Nocturne’s goal is to stop the courier from delivering the package because doing so would bring about an unnamed catastrophe that he has seen. Nocturne has seen and lived this future and is willing to undo it at any cost, even sabotaging himself.

    2. Devious Methods:

Through the use of intermediaries (until he realizes he may have to actually meet his old self), sabotaging the courier’s first vehicle causing our hero to use a back up/less equipped vehicle, hiring false allies to help the courier, setting other mythic denizens of the night on him, alluding to it’s great value to them, offering him a key to open it (which is against his code), and a last minute meeting with him before he drops off the package.

    3. Covering it Up:

The use of intermediaries, false allies and other denizens of the night courier trade to try and stop the courier.

    Sequencing:

Sabotage: The courier’s main vehicle is sabotaged that isn’t a quick repair (someone knew how to hamstring his transport run effectively), and he’s forced to use his backup, which is less secure and less well-equipped.

False Allies: Our hero meets a “Fellow Courier” who seems helpful but has been turned by Nocturne to hinder The Courier.

First Run-In with Authorities: Unknown law enforcement tries to pull him over, against “the rules” of the night transport kingdom. He evades, but realizes the forces against him are more organized and potent than he thought.

Mythic Denizens Encounter: Night denizens approach The Courier interested in what he has in his car. This is unusual and can only the work of someone who told them what was in the package.

The Future Key: Nocturne appears and leaves behind a key. It’s an aged version of a key the Courier already possesses, but his own key fails to even fit in the package lock.

False Allies Revealed: Fellow Courier’s betrayal, leading to an ambush by Nocturne’s henchmen, escalating urgency.

Authority Ambush: Close to the drop-off point, they face a roadblock set by corrupt law enforcement in cahoots with Nocturne.

Final Confrontation with Nocturne (Climax): An elaborate chase ends in a standoff where Nocturne reveals that he is a future version of the Courier, hinting that delivery of the package is a mistake. Leaving The Courier with doubt.

Resolution: The Courier successfully makes the drop-off but leaves the audience and himself with lingering questions. Did he avert a terrible future, or enable it?

Alfred Dunham: The Villain Has a Great Plan! (intrigue)

What I learned doing this assignment:

    1. The Mystery is the Secret being Covered UP and presented (and accepted) as Fact.

    2. This leads to the confusion that generates the Suspense (keeps us wondering and worrying), and…

    3. Causes everyone to wonder how it will end (the Intrigue). Something bad, dangerous, and underhanded is going on. What is it?

Understanding how the three parts of the M.I.S. work together is everything.

To create your Villain’s plan, answer these four questions:

    What is the end goal?

Maximus wants to see Isabella mentally incapacitated (“like your mother”), but he’ll settle for her death.

His plans for Ryan are to get him to leave Isabella, so clearly, his beef is with Isabella, but if Ryan is driven insane or killed, that’s okay, too.

How can the Villain accomplish that in a devious way?

Maximus is an electronics genius who has worked for years setting up a contained valley where he can deliver a customized Disneyland-like experience but tailored to the individuals or groups going there (“If Disney can do it, I can do it even better”). But it has not yet gone public.

The Valley, in its natural state alone, is magnificent… a sort of Yosemite-like place, but with a more commercial twist to it, like the Camp Curry Entertainment-Fire Fall experience of former years.

Maximus gets a trusted business acquaintance to front a honeymoon experience for the newly married couple, Ryan and Isabella, but what Silas does not know is that he’s being used. All he is told is that it is an anonymous gift to two old friends… a wedding gift.

Silas has been to “The Valley” and is very excited for Ryan and Isabella, for what he has experienced was a completely different kind of experience from what Ryan and Isabella will discover on their visit.

Maximus has reprogrammed everything to accomplish his goal of driving Isabella mad.

How can they [Maximus] cover it up?

Maximus has a soul from Hell. He’s a genius who has let it go to his head since playground days. He’s an egotistical, narcissistic, misogynistic bully. So why Isabella? Bella is as beautiful as she is talented, and Maximus wants to own her to use in his future, imagined empire. But Bella was too smart to fall for it.

The key is Isabella and her family history of mental illness. Ryan never knew why Isabella dumped him, in college, but [after Maximus’ attempt to steal her away from Ryan] it was because she was too embarrassed and fearful of Ryan finding out about her mother and dumping her. She loved Ryan and felt it was easier this way.

Years later, after her mother has died and she has established herself as a self-employed, successful artist, she feels it safe enough to resurrect her former relationship with Ryan. Maximus goes nuts; he is still spying on her.

Maximus knows all about the Lake family’s history of mental illness, so whatever happens, he can be reasonably certain he can damage or destroy the marriage of Ryan and Isabella. He is still ravenously hurt and angry that she turned his proposal down, back in college.

If Isabella loses her mind, well, she has a history. If she dies, how tragic. And it’s pretty much the same for Ryan. They are in a seeming wilderness, after all. So, where’s the evidence he engineered it? He simply reprograms his computer-controlled devices that are held in top secret. On the surface, they seem to be benign.

What he doesn’t plan for, however, is for Ryan to figure out what’s happening.

Sequence it to make it as intriguing as possible:<div>

    a. Wedding Scenes: With their backs to the guests, and with people entering and leaving the main sanctuary via the front entrance to the church, we see Maximus leave. But as Alfred Hitchcock used to show up somewhere in his movies, it doesn’t register, and we don’t notice. In this movie, the viewer has never seen Maximus, and it won’t register who he is – until the end… maybe.

    b. Flight Scenes: Isabella meets Silas for the first time. There is a long flight getting to the mountainous wilderness in which The Valley is located, and the three of them engage each other in conversation on the way. Silas is eager for it to be a complete surprise, so he is cautious about being a spoiler. Isabella is a bit agitated and worried, but Ryan reassures her. He’s used to wilderness settings in his paleontology/geology work.

    c. The Adventure Begins: Sialis sets down in a meadow near where the trailhead begins. Sialis wishes them well, lifts off, and disappears. Ryan and Isabella are alone, and Isabella’s fears surface.

    d. The Trail In: The trail up to the rim of the valley is moderate, ending at a beautiful lake posted as, Lost Souls Lake. The trail down into The Valley appears foreboding.

    e. The Trail Down: The trail down is exposed and scary in places to anyone with a fear of heights, but it’s safe enough. And it is close and claustrophobic, surrounded by huge, dwarfing rocks, in other places. At the bottom, there is a small cabin and a troll-like man with a long beard pops out, blocking the trail, demanding he see their passes. Satisfied, he returns inside his cabin and lets them pass.

    f. The Valley: Beyond the gate, a lush green meadow greets them, surrounded by vertical granite walls. A lacy waterfall pours down one of the vertical walls, but as they approach, both are startled by a fierce wind that seems to blow the water into the face of a devil god who warns them of danger. Bella is terrified. Ryan calms her by telling her the legend of POHONO, but Ryan reflects, “How would anyone know about that?”

    g. The Cabin in the Woods: Finely crafted but full of suggestive dark secrets – symbols and strange carvings. And The Book.

    h. An Evening Walk: There are Mysterious sightings. A mysterious ground fog appears. They become concerned about what might be lurking.

    i. A Night in a Haunted Cabin: After dark, “things” begin to happen. Bella is beginning to unravel, but Ryan keeps her together.

    j. An Attempt to Leave: Isabella is Injured: At the Gate, the Gatekeeper warns them to stay clear. They are not permitted to leave. Bella tries to rush the gate and is hit with a laser beam. She is rendered unconscious and convulses. Ryan struggles to get her back to the cabin. This is Ryan’s wake-up call. The dangers are real.

    k. Another Night in a Haunted Cabin: The “haunting” gets worse. Isabella is slipping. Ryan is scared for her.

    l. Ryan Figures it Out: Ryan recites his theory and plan to escape, but they must survive the rest of the night.

    m. The Second Attempt to Leave: Ryan’s theory seems true as they are again forbidden to leave by what he suspects is a holographic gatekeeper.

    n. Ryan has discovered a Dangerous but Possible Way Out: In the open, Ryan lays out his plan, and Bella is petrified enough to accept it.

    o. Ryan sets the Cabin on Fire: Partly as his own revenge against Maximus and partly as cover, Ryan sets the cabin on fire, which reveals a maze of electronics that have caused the haunting. The two of them rush into a secluded couloir to begin their escape. The fire spreads below them as they climb.

    p. Ryan and Isabell are Successful, Ending Up at the Lake: The Valley is engulfed in flame, by now.

    q. Silas Arrives at the Lake on Foot: Silas apologizes profusely. He did not know.

    r. Maximus Arrives: Tries to set his helicopter down by the lake but crashes it.

    s. The End: Silas leads the traumatized couple away from the lake, back to the meadow where his helicopter awaits.

The MYSTERY is the rigged Valley.

The RULE = The coverup presented as reality up front.

Ryan and Isabella think they’re getting a wedding gift from a friend in a beautiful wilderness setting. They accept this as fact, but it is a cover for Maximus’ revenge.

As the Mystery deepens and the Suspense (what’s happening) escalates, enhanced by their being trapped, Ryan figures it out. BUT…

The Intrigue also escalates as they try to figure it out and fight their way out of The Valley via Ryan’s insights and skills – will they make it?

The newly married couple are severely rattled, but alive.

    Kelly’s Villains Plan

What I learned? i learned that I just howto simply lay out the plan and then think of ays that the villain was going to cover it up. When I looked at the examples I really couldsee the Villain’s plans and how simple they were.

Enf goal; get the government to buy his surveillance system.

Use MindHack system to hack partner Connor

Get Connor to identify ordinary social media users who are good citizens.

Get Connor to create a terrorist group and lead them.

    Unleash mind hacking algorithm.

Have the group commit various terrorist acts.

Stop once the government asks for his help.

How can they cover it up?

Keep the mind hack system hidden online.

Design the trail to lead to Connor.

    Build firewall encryption around himself.

Give assistance to FBI agents or police when approached.

Alyssa’s Villain Has a Great Plan!

What I learned: The villain’s plan is the engine that helps drive the story, which I didn’t fully recognize before, so I’m excited to refine my villain’s plan and make it stronger as we go along. Definitely still a work in progress, but it’s been fun approaching the story this way!

    1. What is the end goal:

To kill Cobra and retrieve the stolen data about Lintz’s corruption before it’s decrypted and shared. <div>

    2. How can the Villain accomplish that in a devious way: Lintz knows Ace is the only one who can find Cobra and anything he might hide, but Ace will only look for him if the world is literally ending. So Lintz starts bombing cities and spreading the word that Cobra’s behind it, causing agents around the world to start searching for him- including Ace.

    3. How can they cover it up:

Lintz plants Cobra’s name as architect of the bombings, acts as a friend/father figure but manipulates Ace and her natural distrust of others to do what he wants, sends Ace to help the CIA pretending to be a team player, leaks rumors about Cobra’s rogue deeds and betrayals (some true), guides everyone to follow leads he plants to help him win without them knowing it.

    4. Sequence it to make it as intriguing as possible (still working on this part/plot):

    • Lintz has spent years making Ace believe he is the only one she can trust
    • Lintz uses a rogue team of terrorists to plant bombs in various cities, the first city to blow is where Ace is already working a mission.
    • Lintz plants Cobra’s name in connection to the bombings.
    • Lintz leaks that Ace works for his shadow org, so the CIA (which he needs in play) requests her back to help them find Cobra.
    • Lintz continues to create rumors about Cobra’s rogue deeds and manipulates all the world’s agencies to believe it, including Ace, getting everyone mobilized to find Cobra.
    • Lintz manipulates Ace to believe she can’t trust her new partner, Bryson, to get her to she go solo and keep things from the CIA (only telling Lintz)
    • When she finds Cobra, Lintz’s voice is in her head making her distrust what Cobra tells her.
    • When Ace starts to work with Cobra and Bryson, Lintz turns the other agencies against her and Bryson as Cobra’s accomplices, pinning things on the CIA and putting them all in more danger.
    • When Ace faces Lintz, he still thinks he can manipulate her (to destroy the data? Kill Cobra and Bryson? Not expose him? I’m not sure about the climax yet) and she has to use the help of others (overcoming her flaw) to defeat/expose him.

Day 5: Heather Esty’s Villain Plan

What I learned: In brainstorming, it feels like there are a number of roads the villain could take to get to his goal. So far, I’ve chosen the one where he seems to be a good guy through most of the plot (maybe using a Red Herring as the seeming villain? Maybe setting him up as if he’s a love interest?) It also seems like a number of things (maybe smaller incidents?) need to happen throughout to get tension going from the start (maybe the villain needs to be under a deadline or have more pressure from the outside?)

    1. What is the end goal?

Cover up the problem with his company’s latest environmentally-green product so he can remain the darling of the environmental movement, retain his wealth and power, and run for political office.

    2. How can the Villain accomplish that in a devious way?

Doctor the original study results and files.

Eliminate anyone who is aware of the problem.

    3. How can they cover it up?

Arrange for his whistle-blower and Julia’s husband to die in apparent accidents.

Stage a burglary at Julia’s to get her husband’s computer.

Become friends with Julia to find out what she knows.

Send “CIA” after her when she runs.

    4. Sequence it to make it as intriguing as possible.

    Kill whistle-blower via apparent suicide.

Kill Julia’s husband in apparent car accident.

Offer his condolences at funeral and “support” her.

Be the “hero” that saves her from the burglars.

Help her rehabilitate to gain her trust.

Try to split her from her family.

Plant evidence that Julia wanted her husband killed (insurance policy?)

Send assassins after her when she runs.

What I learned: at this point, I’m throwing shit against the wall the see what sticks. I love the method, but the more I work on this particular thriller idea, the less I’m sure it will fly. I will try it out on my other idea (The alternative Beethoven history/thriller) and see if it works better on that. Otherwise, I might start from scratch. But yeah, love this method of building the thriller map.

    What is the end goal?

To humiliate, demean, and destroy the career and personal life of brilliant musician Miles Cole.

How can the Villain accomplish that in a devious way?

Everyone creates differently, and I decided to combine the devious methods and coverups. The coverups, then, come right after the devious stuff. That just worked for me. I then sequenced them. So it’s all in one piece.

Negative Publicity: Howie anonymously leaks fabricated stories about Miles’ personal life, tarnishing his reputation. Howie, posing as a concerned colleague, approaches Miles with advice on managing the negative publicity. Miles is initially grateful for the support.

Undermining Confidence: As Miles faces more negative publicity, Howie subtly begins to erode his self-confidence. Howie presents himself as a mentor, seemingly trying to help Miles regain his self-assuredness.

Cultural Appropriation: Howie uses AI-generated stories about Miles culturally appropriating music from various groups. He publishes an article condemning cancel culture, but conveniently omits Miles’ situation. Miles starts to question his authenticity.

Sabotaging Collaborations: Miles attempts a collaboration with another musician, but misunderstandings arise due to Howie’s rumors. Howie steps in as a mediator, suggesting he’s helping to resolve the situation.

Stalking and Threats: As Miles’ confidence wanes, he begins receiving anonymous threats. Howie offers to assist in handling the threats, further manipulating Miles’ emotions.

Hijacking Social Media: Amid the threats, Howie hacks Miles’ social media accounts and posts incriminating content. He positions himself as a cybersecurity ally, offering to help uncover the alleged hacker.

Paying off Concert Promoters: Miles secures a potential performance opportunity, but Howie intervenes behind the scenes, preventing him from playing in a serious venue. Howie writes a piece about how Miles should aim for better venues, adding doubt to Miles’ choices.

Infiltrating Support Network: Miles’ inner circle becomes divided due to Howie’s manipulations. Howie acts as a mediator, pretending to help mend relationships, while secretly perpetuating the divide.

Tampering with Instruments: Miles’ instruments malfunction during a performance. Howie offers his expertise in fixing the issues, appearing helpful while causing further sabotage.

Paying Audience Members to Disrupt the Shows: Miles’ shows face disruptions by paid audience members. Howie chastises the disruptors publicly, posing as a defender of Miles’ performances.

Financial Ruin: Miles faces financial challenges as investments fail. Howie presents a joint financial venture as a solution, claiming to help Miles recover from his losses.

Booking Catastrophic Gigs: Miles secures a high-profile gig, but Howie ensures it’s riddled with flaws. Howie acts as an agent, suggesting the mishaps were accidental and promising better opportunities.

Hiring Thugs: Miles encounters thugs meant to intimidate him. Howie intervenes, appearing as a savior while orchestrating the intimidation from the start.

Hacking the Sound System: During a performance, the club’s sound system is hacked, creating disruptions. Howie showcases his tech skills by seemingly outsmarting the hackers, diverting suspicion.

Miller’s Villain Has a Great Plan!

What I learned is to start with the end in mind and work my way back.

End goal: The villain’s aim is to exact revenge on Hazel by abducting her daughter, Emily, and exploiting Hazel’s past traumas.

Devious way: She befriends Emily to gain access to her life, ultimately leading to Emily’s abduction. She creates a trail of incriminating evidence pointing to Liam Harding, the dating app creator, making it appear as though he’s involved in the abduction.

Cover it up: Through social media manipulation, they divert attention from themselves, plant doubts about Liam, and frame him for the abduction. They livestream a staged confrontation, leaving subtle evidence to implicate Liam.

Sequence it to make it as intriguing as possible.

1: Jessica meticulously profiles Hazel and Emily, identifying their vulnerabilities and psychological triggers.

2: Leveraging her charismatic online persona, Jessica befriends Emily through their internship at the dating app, Love Clicks, cultivating trust.

3: Jessica executes her abduction plan, forcefully taking Emily away and making it appear as though Liam Harding, the dating app’s creator, is involved in Emily’s disappearance.

4: Playing the role of the concerned friend, Jessica artfully hints to Hazel that Liam might have had a role in Emily’s vanishing, diverting attention and raising doubt.

5: Jessica exploits Emily’s dating app profile to intensify the danger and connects it to Hazel’s past experiences as a child psychologist. She crafts a narrative that ties the app’s workings to the trauma of children Hazel couldn’t save, magnifying the stakes and forcing Hazel to confront her past.

(Jessica exploits Emily’s dating app profile to intensify the danger and connects it to Hazel’s past experiences as a child psychologist. Meanwhile, Trevor, who works at the dating app, becomes increasingly uneasy about Jessica’s involvement. He accidentally stumbles upon a crucial piece of information that could potentially unravel Jessica’s plan. Trevor finds evidence linking Jessica to the abduction and realizes the danger he poses. Just as he’s about to share the information with Hazel, Jessica remorselessly eliminates Trevor to eliminate him as a threat, making it appear as an accident.)

6: Using her social media prowess, Jessica orchestrates a comprehensive online campaign that paints Liam as suspicious. She exposes Liam’s actions concerning Emily, his hidden connections, and his manipulation of dating profiles. Just as Hazel becomes convinced that Liam is behind her daughter’s disappearance, Jessica manipulates Emily’s dating app profile to create disturbing similarities between matches on the app and Hazel’s past patients. This makes Hazel doubt her suspicions about Liam and keeps her torn between her intuition and the unsettling coincidences.

7: To maintain control and amplify chaos, Jessica kidnaps Liam and carefully orchestrates a scenario that seems to frame him for Emily’s disappearance. She leaves behind subtle evidence that points toward his involvement while live-streaming the entire ordeal to her social media followers, boosting her influence and ensuring an audience for her twisted narrative.

8: Jessica reveals her true identity to Hazel, exposes the depths of her revenge plan, and unravels the connection between their pasts, all while Emily’s life hangs in the balance.

Gisele Frazeur’s villain has a great plan!

What I learned doing this assignment is: Something I already knew but didn’t want to face. This reiterated it and hit it home. My current villain is written weakly. Very milquetoast. He is always reacting to things instead of proacting on the plot and driving it forward. I need to flesh him out and strengthen him. This class and process will aid me in making him more of a driving force. I need to get off the fence and make him eviler.

Goal: Hank’s goal is to stay alive. To do so he must continue extorting scientific information from perfumer, Darin August (his sister-in-law), that results in dogs failing to scent drugs being smuggled. He feeds this info to the drug lord he is beholding to – – guaranteeing they won’t dispose of him.

Intrigue: Hank has ulterior motives. He claims to want to solve his wife’s murder – – when he is, in fact, seeking to pin it on someone else in order to divert suspicion away from himself and his culpability in it. This additionally engenders trust with Darin – – enabling him to keep her comfortably under his control.

How can Hank accomplish this in a devious way? Get Darin (a recovering alcoholic) off the wagon – – thusly keeping her unstable and more controllable. Isolate Darin from her support system. Take her purpose away from her by ratting her imbibing out to her boss and getting her placed-on leave from her job. Seduce a vulnerable Darin – – filling her with shame for sleeping with her dead sister’s husband. Implicate another (Leff-T) in his wife’s murder.

How can Hank cover it up? Leak footage of Darin drinking to the tabloids and her boss. Set up Leff-T to take the fall for Livie’s murder. Keep her drinking – – which lessens her credibility. Have her friend Dharma overdosed….Dharma is helping Darin get too close to the truth.

Sequence it. This is a loosey-goosey work in progress.

    1. Hank alerts authorities that Leff-T’s old gang removed toes from members as a symbol of loyalty. This casts suspicion on Leff-T as having been responsible for the toe laced hors d’oeuvre at Darin’s awards ceremony…..since his followers were protesting and demanding a boycott of Darin’s fragrances at her awards ceremony.

    2. Before Livie’s funeral – – Hank gets a copy of Darin’s sealed juvie record. Darin Killed her step-father in self- defense when he tried to molest her as a teen. This embarrassed Darin’s mother, Leighton, back in the day. He rips the band aid off an old wound and Leighton attacks Darin at Livie’s funeral, accusing her of having been responsible for Livie’s death – – as well as having seduced her deceased husband.

    3. Hank gets Darin drinking again immediately after the funeral to keep her off balance and controllable.

    4. Hank hires someone to issue death threats to Darin via mail and phone to keep her scared – – therefore more easily controlled by him

    5. Hank anonymously sends a video of a drunk Darin to her boss to get her placed on leave – – as this will negatively impact the image of the company she works for.

    6. Hank repeatedly takes advantage of Darin’s coerced drinking – – by seducing her several times to make her ashamed of sleeping with her dead sister’s husband – – thus keeping her more easily manipulated.

    7. Hank fabricates a lie about the divorce papers Darin finds in Livie’s suitcase. He says Livie had been having an affair. Does this to throw Darin off the scent.

    8. Hank kills officer who leaks information to Leff-T regarding Pookie failing to scent drugs at a potential drug bust.

    9. Hank has Darin’s friend, Dharma, overdosed. Dharma has been attempting to aid Darin with her sobriety – – as well as solve Livie’s murder.

    10. When the gig is up – – Hank holds Leff-T hostage and orders Darin to kill him after finding out Darin is carrying his child. He plans to flee the country with her.

Jamie Stegner Villain has a great plan.

What I learned : Developing the Villain’s plan first gives the story a spine. This is the driving force. The Villain must have their way. She is set up in advance and is powerful to carry it out. Invincible.

If the Hero will win this battle they will have to survive Hell and go above and beyond anything they ever imagined. .

To create your Villain’s plan, answer these four questions:

    What is the end goal?
Mother wants her children to come home and stay home with her — all
ghosts together in the house forever.

    How can the Villain accomplish
    that in a devious way
? Entice them to come home :
die and need burying. Keep them home
by seemingly hiding cash that they must find.
How can they cover it up?
    Falsify the bank records.
Sequence it to make it as
    intriguing as possible
    . Mother sets traps and
entices the children to turn on each other and kill each other.

    1. Mother sets of the false account records by cut/ paste and Xerox very carefully. She makes it look like she took out $1 million in cash every month for the past 10 months. This leaves the mystery: What did she do with it? Where did she hide it? Each child has a personal reason for needing the money now.

    2. Mother cut the banister of the main stairs with a fine saw and left just a lttle – to top — to look like it’s still intact. She left it to break pretty easily and leave a sharp spindle to get impaled on. Anyone who stumbles on the stairs and leans heavily on the banister will break it and become impaled. – a long slow death if help is not at hand.

    3. In the basement she set a bear trap to spring with little pressure. She placed a small amount of cash there to entice and set off the spring which will imprison you and damage your arm. You will bleed-out and die if you are not able to summon help.

    4. Mother set the electric to give a big shock when you turn on the light at the top of the attic stairs. And the step at the top of the attic steps is loose and will throw you down to knock your head against the door at the bottom. If you don’t break your neck, still, no one will find you laying there unconscious.

Mother has set many similar traps. Once the children have found the (false) bank accounts and decided to stay in the house and find the money, she will be able to play on their childhood rivalries and hatreds. She can inspire them to kill each other, each will feel that the other deserves it. Then the house will be “full of family again.”

    1. What is their end goal?

To orchestrate a successful military coup against the government using an unstoppable army of elite individuals whose extraordinary abilities have been stolen and implanted into their agents.

    2. How can the Villain accomplish that in a devious way?

    · Kidnap elite individuals and extract their skills without their knowledge or consent.

    · Blackmail elite individuals into willingly giving up their skills for the extraction.

    · Use a double agent inside the government to provide them with a list of the best targets for extraction.

    · Hack into surveillance systems to track and capture targets.

    · Use propaganda to create distrust in elite individuals, making it easier to capture them without public outrage.

    · Create a fake rehabilitation center for elite individuals to voluntarily come to, only to be subjected to extraction.

    · Use the young rogue agent (with the retired spy’s skills) to eliminate any competitors or threats.

    · Collaborate with enemy nations to secure more resources and potential extraction candidates.

    · Use moles in intelligence agencies to prevent any information about their operations from being leaked.

    · Introduce a tech virus to cripple communication networks during the coup.

    · Plant bombs in key governmental locations, ready to be detonated to serve as a diversion when necessary.

    · Infiltrate the educational system to identify prodigious talents early on and groom them for future extraction.

    · Corrupt or control health facilities to sedate and extract from individuals during routine medical procedures.

    · Partner with criminal syndicates or mafias to facilitate kidnappings and extractions in exchange for shared power.

    · Use a deep fake AI to impersonate the elites, maintaining a facade of normalcy while the real individuals are held captive.

    · Sabotage the security details of elite individuals, making them easy extraction targets.

    3. How can they cover it up?

    · Release some individuals post-extraction, wiping their memories so they remember nothing.

    · Make it look like elite individuals are disappearing due to personal issues, like mental breakdowns or the desire for privacy.

    · Spread misinformation, ensuring no suspicions are raised.

    · Make it appear as cyber-attacks from rival countries, diverting attention and resources.

    · Spin the narrative that the captured elites are partaking in a secret competition or event.

    · Leak fake stories about elites to support the propaganda, blurring the lines between truth and fiction.

    · Publicize the fake center as a premium retreat for elites, with fake testimonials.

    · Make the rogue agent’s actions look like accidents or crimes of passion, not planned assassinations.

    · Have the rogue agent kill high profile government personnel in a manner that would make it appear that it was done by the protagonist.

    · Cause accidents that disrupt communication.

    · Use deep fake technology to make it seem as though the protagonist is admitting to killing elites.

    · Create a narrative of potential terrorist attacks, keeping authorities on high alert and focusing on the wrong threat.

    · Position the grooming process as special scholarships or opportunities for gifted students, making it seem benevolent.

    · Release news about a new, routine medical procedure or vaccine, making widespread sedations seem normal.

    · Use the deep fake AI to post regular social media updates.

    · Attribute the security sabotages to budget cuts or incompetence, diverting attention from the real threat.

    4. Sequencing for Intrigue:

    · Elite individuals are noticed to be disappearing or acting out of character when they lose their abilities. Other elites are involved in accidents and their sustained injuries are being attributed to the loss of their abilities.

    · Prodigies seem to be disappearing, while fake social media postings are published.

    · Cyber-attacks cause distractions, making the authorities believe a different country is behind the chaos.

    · The protagonist uncovers bribery and corruption at an elite military training school, suggesting external forces at play.

    · The creator of the memory extraction device appears to be working for the Villain yet he leaves cleverly coded helpful clues for the protagonist at each kidnapping scene, suggesting otherwise.

    · The fake rehabilitation centre gains traction, becomes the new obsession among the elites.

    · The protagonist discovers, a secret underground facility beneath the rehabilitation centre. Then discovers that it is also a training ground.

    · The rogue agent begins taking out threats, but it’s disguised as unrelated incidents or accidents.

    · The rogue agent starts taking out high level government agents and frames the protagonist based on his telltale combat abilities.

    · Bomb threats start emerging, taking the attention away from the extraction process and the upcoming coup.

    · As the climax approaches, irrefutable evidence of the muscle memory extraction is exposed, but by then, the villain’s army is ready.

    The military coup begins,
with a now clear and present threat to the government, culminating in a massive
battle between the protagonist, his spy agency and the unstoppable army.

Diane Phelps’ Villians Plan Lesson 5 – homework

What I learned is that the villians plan really sets the plot for the movie.

Villain’s Plan for Mayor Evelyn Monroe:

End Goal: Mayor Evelyn Monroe’s ultimate goal is to harness the supernatural energy source beneath Port Paradise for her own gain. She believes that this energy can grant her immense power and control, elevating her status to a level of authority beyond the town.

Devious Method: Mayor Monroe, in her charismatic persona, has secretly infiltrated and risen to prominence within a clandestine society known as the “Enlightened Circle.” This society has existed for centuries, dedicated to unlocking the secrets of the supernatural energy source. As a member, Mayor Monroe conspires with other influential figures to manipulate the town’s affairs to their advantage.

To achieve her goal, Mayor Monroe orchestrates a series of devious actions:

    1. Manipulating Public Perception: Mayor Monroe uses her philanthropic activities to maintain her image as a benevolent leader. She funds community projects, charity events, and sponsors town festivals, all while secretly diverting resources toward the extraction of the energy source.

    2. Silencing Dissent: Anyone who becomes suspicious or starts asking questions about the town’s mysteries is discreetly discredited, intimidated, or even silenced by the society’s covert agents. This keeps prying eyes away from the supernatural energy source.

    3. Exploiting Vulnerable Residents: Mayor Monroe capitalizes on the economic vulnerabilities of some Port Paradise residents, ensuring their dependence on her and her policies. She manipulates these individuals into assisting with the energy extraction process under the guise of economic prosperity for the town.

    4. Securing Influence: Mayor Monroe maintains control over key positions in the town, such as law enforcement and the local media, ensuring that any potential threats or leaks are swiftly contained.

Cover-Up: The key to Mayor Monroe’s cover-up is her ability to divert attention away from the true nature of her actions:

    1. Misdirection: She orchestrates various public events and crises, creating diversions that keep the townsfolk focused on other matters, preventing them from connecting the dots regarding the supernatural energy source.

    2. False Altruism: Mayor Monroe manipulates the media to portray her as a selfless leader, constantly emphasizing her dedication to improving the town. This diversionary tactic makes it difficult for anyone to suspect her true motives.

    3. Control of Information: Her influence over local law enforcement allows her to monitor and control any investigations or potential whistleblowers, ensuring that the truth remains buried.

    Intriguing Sequence:

    1. Initial Suspicions: As Alex Turner returns to Port Paradise and begins his investigation, he starts to uncover odd discrepancies in the town’s finances and the unexplained disappearances of residents who were getting too close to the truth.

    2. Encounter with Oliver Jenkins: Alex meets Oliver Jenkins, the eccentric conspiracy theorist, who shares tantalizing but cryptic information about the town’s secrets. This revelation sets Alex on a path to uncover the supernatural energy source’s existence.

    3. Beck’s Insights: Dr. Beck Martinez provides psychological insights into the town’s dynamics, including the manipulation of perception by Mayor Monroe. Alex begins to piece together the puzzle but remains unsure of the extent of the mayor’s involvement.

    4. Mayor Monroe’s Charismatic Facade: The mayor’s charming facade remains unshaken, even as Alex investigates further. This creates a stark contrast between the town’s perception of her and the malevolent truth he is uncovering.

    5. Increasing Danger: As Alex delves deeper, he unwittingly becomes a target of Mayor Monroe’s covert agents. He narrowly escapes several attempts on his life, heightening the tension and danger.

    6. Final Confrontation: In a heart-pounding showdown, Alex confronts Mayor Monroe, exposing her true intentions and the sinister plans of the “Enlightened Circle.” The climax reveals the extent of her manipulation and the town’s perilous situation.

Mayor Monroe’s devious plan, coupled with the intricate cover-up, keeps the audience in suspense, wondering if Alex can overcome the odds and reveal the chilling secrets that lie beneath the surface of Port Paradise.

Barbe’s Villain Has a Great Plan!

What I learned is that this process is brilliant! — and fun. Until I worked through the process, I didn’t really know where the story was going to go. Now it’s coming together.

    1. What is the end goal?

    · Volkov gets the manuscript as a way to launder money.

    2. How can the Villain accomplish that in a devious way?

    · Co-opt Max into acting as Volkov’s agent and purchasing the manuscript at auction.

3.How can they cover it up?

    · Max has a spotless record and great reputation. He will not be suspected.

    4. Sequence it to make it as intriguing as possible.

    · Disgraced ex-FBI agent, who unbeknownst to Volkov has a grudge against Max, suggests to Volkov to use Max to procure the manuscript.

    · Volkov enlists Max’s aid by offering to pay off all his debts.

    · When Max declines, Volkov threatens Max with destroying his store.

    · Max attends the auction and purchases the manuscript.

    · Max believes he can double-cross Volkov.

    · Before Max can implement his plan, his store is broken into. He is arrested for murdering the FBI agent and lands in jail.

    · The manuscript is still in the safe.

    · The Mavens come to Max’s aid – but are in the dark about Max’s true background.

    · Now the Mavens stand in the way of Volkov.

    · Volkov needs to take out the Mavens one-by-one.

    · The Mavens are threatened with kidnapping, their vehicles tampered with, and homes broken into.

Heidi’s Villain Has a Great Plan!

What I learned is that this is just as exciting as coming up with the protagonist journey if not more fun. Also realizing how important it is that the villains story is solidified to get a more accurate and strong story. Working on the sequence and will fill out as I move along.

    What is the end goal?
    How can the Villain accomplish
    that in a devious way?
How can they cover it up?
Sequence it to make it as
    intriguing as possible.

    VILLAIN: Henrik Voss “The Seer”

Mystery: Who is he and what is his relation to Ylva (and her
    deceased mother)
Intrigue: What is his intention – was he instrumental to get Ylva
to that location/he attention – did he want her to investigate the serial
    murders for his weird game/pursuit?
Suspense: He is actively setting up traps – physical and
mental for Ylva that is a threat to her life

    What is the end goal?

Henrik’s end goal is to create a new society by “exposing” corruption and weakness within the government – by creating mistrust and chaos, he proves his point and is able to become the puppeteer orchestrating the chaos from behind the scenes and exploit the situation to his advantage.

How can the Villain accomplish that in a devious way?

By posing as a charismatic figure who seems like a sane and safe person of integrity, and a better leader. Using/manipulating his following to gather information on key individuals and their weaknesses/vulnerabilities and secrets.

How can they cover it up?

His following defends his actions, creating diversion – blind leads – making it difficult for anyone to see his true motive. Only the villain knows the entire truth – he trusts no one. He has a handful of people he trust but they are not given the whole truth – only bits of what he is willing to share and if anyone turns on him – they have set themselves up to take the fall (unknowingly) while he is in the clear.

Sequence it to make it as intriguing as possible.

    1. Quiet but powerful leader in smalltown. Has his following, majority of townspeople

    2. Interested in Ylva, taunting her with small clues and comments – instructed no one to touch her. She is watched – covertly and openly

    3. Mindgames with Ylva and his followers

    4. A string of murders gathers more attention – using the situation to gain advantage and chaos

    Maureen’s Villain’s Plan

What I learned doing this Assignment is- Once again- Just when I think the story is not going to fit the model and I’d better switch to another story, if I stick to the process, the path lights up. 🙂

    To
create your Villain’s plan, answer these four questions:

NOTE: I have Two ‘Villains’. One is the ‘Cartels’, in general and represented by individual members. The other is a feared Cartel Coalition Leader who as his own agenda, but uses the Cartels to achieve it. In that way, I am considering the ‘Cartels’, who do many villainous and life threatening things throughout the film, as a Red Herring for the Main Villain, Enrique, the Coalition Leader who has a history with Abuela, and who is the one who sets the plan in motion. I’m laying out their end goals and cover-ups separately below, because the Protagonist, Abuela, has to bump into both agendas over the course of the film. Then I sequenced them as intertwined, delineating Enrique’s Plan when it comes up. I hope that works and doesn’t confuse.

    I.) My OVERT VILLAIN/RED HERRING:

THE CARTELS (Still Villains, but diverting us from the “EL JEFE”( Big Boss’ Plan.)

    1. What
    is the end goal?

    – To make as much money and amass as much
    power as they possibly can.

    2. How
can the Villain/Red Herring accomplish that in a devious way?

    -Exploit
the politics in the US and South America

    -Manipulate
and exploit the people of South America and elsewhere who are
    looking for a better life.

    Work
in secret beside political and charity organizations who help the
Cartel achieve their goals, while they pursue their own.

    3.
How can they cover it up?

    -They
keep people from revealing the truth through…

    -Threats
    and Violence

    -Coercion
    and Extortion

    -Threats
    to Family Members and Friends

    – By
killing, raping or maiming those who would expose them,
including ‘problem migrants’ and those who are too weak
to keep up with the trip

    – By
“Indenturing’ migrants who couldn’t pay them, and
threatening them to keep their mouth shuts or else.

    Other
ways they work with their ‘Partners’ to keep the truth from coming
    out:

    -They
    cover it up through denial

    -By
    working under cover of night

    -By
working in plain sight as if it were normal

    -By
calling it ‘Humane’ and ‘Justice’, and intimidating or maligning the
reputations of those who disagree or try to stand in their way.

    -By
working with co-operating governments, organizations and media to
    keep the truth secret.

    II) MY
    HIDDEN VILLAIN:

ENRIQUE was a freedom fighter with Abuela (Lucretia) in their
native country. He was also her lover. Enrique and Lucretia were idealistic and in love, but arrest and torture- as well as what he saw as Lucretia’s betrayal- changed him. He is now the Leader of the largest and most brutal Coalition of
Cartels. He holds a deep grudge against Abuela for not waiting for
him when he was captured, and for going into hiding with
their daughter so he couldn’t find them. Despite searching for them both for years, he
was never able to meet or see his daughter before she died. He blames Abuela.

    1.) What
    is Enrique’s end goal?

    – To See Lucretia again and make her face him.
When she sees him, he wants her to know that because of him, she had
to go through hell looking for her family- the same way she made him
go through hell looking for his.

    2.) How
can the Villain accomplish that in a devious way?

    -To enlist Other
Cartels/members/groups be the front men for what he wants from
    Abuela.

-They do his bidding, harass her on her journey, make her
miserable, but make sure she gets to him.

    3.) How
    can they cover it up?

    – Make
it look like Abuela is just bumping into the general ‘Cartels’ Goals
and Plans, not Enrique’s personal ones.

    -Let
Abuela keep thinking Enrique is dead

    – Enrique has created an entirely new identity with the Cartel. He keeps (and
has kept) his real Identity hidden from everyone for years .

    4.
Sequence it to make it as intriguing as possible:

    NOTE:
Even though they work together and overlap, the Cartel’s Plans are
often Overt and in plain sight. Enrique’s plans are the Secret that
    creates the Mystery.

    – Create
a harassment situation of her Granddaughter so that Abuela will give
in to take her family North. (Enrique’s Plan)

    – When
Abuela and her two Grandchildren show up at the Cartel meeting
point, they tell her that she only has enough passage for two. They
will take the children under Cartel care. (Enrique’s Plan) When
Abuela tries to fight them and take back the children, they knock
her out with the butt of a gun.

    – The
Cartel take her Grandchildren, (Enrique’s Plan) The Cartel
Soldier in charge, who she scratched in the struggle, decides to abuse
her for fun while she’s unconscious. Abuela wakes when he starts to
rape her and fights, killing the Cartel Soldier.

    – The
Local Cartel Honcho, whose son was the Cartel Soldier she killed,
vows revenge – swearing to find Abuela and kill her- despite what
    “El
    Jefe” (the
‘Big Boss’) says. (Local Cartel Plan/Complication)

    -The
Cartel Honcho pursues Abuela, and enlists other Cartel Sicario
friends to help him. (Cartel Plan)

    – Enrique buys out someone on the local Cartel Honcho’s crew, and has the
Honcho killed just before he can kill Abuela. (Enrique’s Plan)

    – If
they are not already on his payroll, Enrico buys spies along the way
at NGO’s, Government Offices, Cartel groups etc. (Enrique’s Plan)

    – Enrique has Abuelo’s Grandchildren brought to him. (Enrique’s Plan. They are his
    Grandchildren as well.)

    – He sends leads/clues through the NGO’s to
send Abuela in another direction. (Enrique’s Plan)

    – Enrique ingratiates
himself with his Grandchildren (Enrique’s Plan)

    – Enrique has his people plant clues for Abuela to follow that finally lead to
him- and their Grandchildren. (Enrique’s Plan)

    – Enrico
    confronts Abuela. (Enrique’s Plan)

Michael L Harris’s Villains Has a Great Plan!

What I learned is that the villain’s plan runs through the entire story. Your story is as much about this plan as it is about the hero. The plan begins before page one.

    What is the end goal?

Dr. Whitcombe’s end goal is to keep his son alive and if possible, restore his health.

How can the Villain accomplish that in a devious way?

By creating a nursing home of unwitting but ready organ donors to supply his son with needed replacement parts as his organs continue to fail and a financial basis for his operation by selling organs he doesn’t need on the black market.

How can they cover it up?

Killing Simon’s mother, creating an underground facility in the basement of the nursing facility, successfully saving some patients, being a world-renowned expert in the field of organ transplants, covering up the fact that Tommy survived but is being kept alive in a secret room of an old mansion adjoining the nursing facility.

Sequence it to make it as intriguing as possible.

    A. Simon’s mother worked for Dr. Whitcombe before the movie began. He killed her because she threated to go to the authorities.

    B. Simon’s mother is killed to cover things up. Simon escapes and becomes a foster child.

    C. Two years later Simon, a 6-year-old clairvoyant, sees Whitcombe in a vision.

    D. Placed in a new foster home Simon must convince his new foster mother that his visions are real and to help him find the man in his visions (Whitcombe.)

    E. As Simon’s understand become clearer, he “sees” the building where this man can be found.

    F. When Simon and Elise visit the building, Whitcombe’s nursing facility, he perceives them as a threat to his operation.

    G. When they return to the facility covertly, they are imprisoned in an old basement where Simon’s visions reveal his mother’s struggle with Whitcombe the night she is killed.

    H. As they try to escape more and more information about Whitcombe and his plan are revealed to Simon., Eventually, they find a secret room and evidence that Whitcombe is Simon’s biological father. They learn of the organ transplants and find Tommy alive.

    I. Whitcombe tries to kill them, but they escape. Whitcombe’s plan revealed and unraveled. Tommy dies leaving Whitcombe a broken man.

Jess’s Villain has a Great Plan!

What I learned from this is where to begin to formulate the Villain’s Master Plan, how to accomplish the Plan, and how to cover up the Plan.

1: The Cop’s end goal is to exact revenge on the people who bullied him into suicide.

2: The Cop, with Jackie’s help, can get all the Chess Club members into an isolated building.

He then gets them to accept and even desire being locked in the building, where he can murder them one by one.

Jackie plans the deaths out as they occur in the Levitsky-Marshall game.

3: Jackie pretends to place the 9-1-1 call, which the Cop answers.

The Cop pretends to be killed, giving him the opportunity to appear not to be involved at all.

Each murder points towards a different member of the Chess Club, based on the Levitsky-Marshall game.

While Jackie pretends to be the voice of reason, she suggests the murders may be done by the Ghost.
