    Hiram Taylor – Lesson #5 – Depth of Emotions

    WHAT DID I LEARN?

    I learned from watching emotions instead of listening to dialogue, that the reactions, facial expressions, and eye contact made by this great ensemble of talented actors are what really made this show such a huge success. They are portraying horrible people but they keep the characters interesting and I cannot stop watching. It’s the “what is not being said” that drives this series.

    PART ONE: SUCCESSION CHARACTERS

    LOGAN

    HOPE – He will recover from his stroke and get back to normal

    FEAR – That he is losing his mind and mental ability to run the company as CEO

    WANT – Ultimate Power

    NEED – Dominance

    NEGATIVE EMOTION – Weak loser
