Working hard everyday to become the best writer I can be and as a result I do become the best writer In Hollywood
Writing 6-10 pages most of it pretty bad but we will fix that.
Learning to trust the process

Margaret’s Continuing Act 2
Vision: To be the best faith-based screenwriter
How it is going: This lesson – failed. I went to write the next scene from my outline and realized it was all wrong. Needed to be a different scene, different location. I sat there, struggling with the directive to keep to the outline. Couldn’t do it. Changed the scene, wrote it, moving on. Promised myself not to do it again. 🙂

Veronica Turowski’s Continuing Act 2
My Vision: I want to be a successful writer who writes several scripts yearly and then sells them to producers who create my vision for the big screen.
What I learned from doing this assignment is that I have been writing fairly quickly for me. I am glad I have the details in my outline, so I don’t get bogged down. That is generally when I start wordsmithing.

WIM Module 5, Lesson 7
Lenore Bechtel continuing Act Two
My vision: I want to create enough salable screenplays that an agent will want to market my work and recommend me for writing assignments.
What I learned from doing this assignment is that writing from a very complete outline like I had for Berlin Rendezvous? Is faster than writing from one less complete.
But at least my outline for Dire Expectations has the headings and ideas for every scene. The assignment for today was to write 6 – 10 pages, and I wrote 13 pages in 4 hours and 9 minutes.
My goal now is to have two complete first drafts by the time I’ve finished Module 5. I’m enjoying fast writing and get irritated at myself when I have to stop to think because of not having enough pre-planned in my outline.

Alyssa’s Continuing Act 2
One Sentence Vision: To be the best writer I can be and a go-to writer in the industry, crafting scripts that become successful movies and make a lasting impact on people.
How it’s going: Well I got totally sidetracked by a brand new project so I wrote a first draft for that in a little over a week, which is great! High speed writing hit hardcore with that one. But I got behind on this one. Going back to the 10-minute timer trick to get into the swing of this story again. It’s not coming as easily but I’m gonna power through.

Melissa Barreca’s Continuing Act 2
My vision: Melissa Barreca is one of the most sought after writers in the movie industry because of the artistry of her writing, professionalism and exceptional ability to tell important, entertaining, joyful, and heartbreaking stories that inspire audiences and become legendary classics.
How it’s going/what I learned…I am trucking along and finding it shockingly easy to embrace imperfection in the pursuit of progress. I am officially at a point that is further than any other script writing I have ever done. I usually get a great idea, write a few scenes and lose momentum. I am very proud of where I am with this draft and excited to continue.

BRIAN BULL – Continuing Act 2
VISION!!!
My ultimate goal is to get my scripts from my hands to the SILVER SCREEN!!“What I learned from doing this assignment is…
The timer helps. It’s amazing what is possible in 5 minutes. I enjoy using the timer! I actually have a couple of breakthroughs as a result of the timer. The ONE THAT GOT AWAY – A Fisherman’s Tale
A fisherman is determined to catch the fish he blames for his younger brother’s death, however, in the end, it turns out the fisherman is the one who had gotten away.
ASSIGNMENT
2. Write 6 – 10 pages a day in the next two days.
3. Tell us how it is going for you.
It’s going – just plugging away! Much of my story revolves around dialogue and I know dialogue is coming up in the next Module so I have been holding back a bit.

Adrienne – Continue Act 2 Module 5 Lesson 7
My Vision: I am going to work as hard as I reasonably am able to succeed at script writing to be recognized by multiple movie producers as a skilled script writer, and to have my scripts produced worldwide.
What I have learned from this assignment, don’t write for perfection, it will come with final draft, keep writing.
My draft/script is moving along but it’s a good thing, especially because I am not wordsmithing.
