    Emmanuel’s Chronological Edit

What I learned doing this assignment is the chronological edit is great to do before starting the second draft. Start from page 1 and review the description, action and dialogue, then set aside for a short while, and come back for rewrites.

    Ed’s Chronological Edit.

What I learned doing this assignment is several ways to improve my script. In action I found times where I wrote a description twice, once to establish and second to reinforce it. By shortening and combining the two sentences I was able to increase pace, while supplying more impactful action.

Dialogue is improving but not there yet. I’m working on ending scenes with impactful or profound lines. I sense some scenes are ending incomplete. I’ve not achieved what the scene needs to provide.

I’ve added a couple scenes that were needed to explore the character’s relationship and provide character relationship arcs within the story. I found this to be a great improvement.

Because of the way we constructed the beat board I did find any unneeded scenes as we structured the story more formally at the beginning. Reduced the need for added edits.
