I’m ready to exchange feedback. I have an approx 90-page draft that is ready to review by someone in the group. Thank you! Don Thompson

This is my first script, can someone explain how this phase works?

Hi Charles – as I read it, this involves choosing someone to exchange scripts with. Once we exchange scripts, we have five days to review and comment on each other’s script. I’d be happy to exchange scripts with you if you’d like. Please let me know. If you want to move forward, I can message you with my email, you can send your script, then I can reply with a *pdf of my script. Thanks, Don

Not ignoring your offer, had to go back to the day job. Doing more rewrite today before I’m ready to exchange.

Thanks Charles – Janeen is also sending me her script. I’d be happy to also look at your script, unless someone else jumps on the thread looking for someone to exhange with. Once you’re ready, please let me know. Best, Don

Janeen’s Ready for Script Exchange Version 1

I still have a couple of scenes to complete (I have the outline and what happens, but haven’t done a full write on them).

So far, my script is only 72 pages. I’m assuming it will be closer to 80 when I finish the 2 outlines action scenes I mentioned above.

I am signed up for the Rewrite Class (which has already started), but will happily exchange scripts with someone if they want to.

Andrea Cabañas, Ready for Script Exchange Version 1

I’m ready to exchange scripts. Not sure how it’s going to happen as I’m replying to this assignment with a delay of 4 days, but if someone still has the time for it, please let me know.

It was a pleasure being part of this course. I hope there’s still time to enrol on the Rewrite Class as it has already started.

    Thank you from Australia!

    What I learned:

I learned not to enroll in two classes at the same time, and that I should have taken the ProSeries before enrolling in 30 Day Script.

I finished the first draft of my script few weeks ago, but it took me until now to complete the final three lessons (Solving Character Problems; Solving Scene Problems, The Chronological Edit) because I was enrolled in ProSeries81.

I stalled out as a consequence of being enrolled in two classes, and had I waited to take 30 Day Script after the ProSeries, I would have completed the script within the 30 Days.

Live and learn. At least I will have two scripts completed.

Because I am late to this final lesson, I have teamed up with my director/nephew to read my script. I just needed to post in the forum that I did finish my script.

My script still needs a lot of work, but I love my characters and the storyline, so I will keep working until I am satisfied with the end result.
