Mike Has Finished Act 4!
My Vision is to write an original screenplay, make a couple of calls to pitch it, to start a bidding war.
This was a hard-fought battle, but someone had to win. That is what it feels like to finish!

Ed has finished Act 4.
MY VISION is to be a bankable, reputable, and industry go-to writer who’s demonstrated how to entertain and hold an audience’s attention through unforgettable characters and stories that are as enjoyable to write as they are to watch.
What I learned doing this assingment is I found my Act 4 to be as I invisioned it. Act 3 needs a lot of work and that's okay because now I know I'll get there because Act 4 holds up. I never wrote a rough draft in two weeks. That makes me feel good and provides me with plenty of material to improve upon in the next drafts. -
Pat Has Finished Act 4
My vision is to have fun completing this class with a contest-winning script that will establish me as an original and courageous writer.I completed my first draft in Lesson 13, but what I've learned along the way is that I am capable of writing a first draft using high speed writing and I'm able to accept all its imperfections. I've realized the areas that require improvement, where I can elevate my characters and how the script can be improved by switching some of the scenes that were created in my outline. I'm grateful to have abandoned my one step forward and two steps back style of writing, something that I did because I was seeking perfection when I should've been moving forward. I've made notes on all the improvements that are ahead of me and I'm looking forward to the second rewrite.

Sunil Pappu Has Finished Act 4!
My Vision: I’m a successful produced writer who specializes in female-led thrillers.
“What I learned from doing this assignment is… to celebrate my success in completing the first draft. It is not perfect but it is done! I wrote the 90-page first draft in less than 10 days and I’m proud of myself for finishing it!

Margaret Has finished Act 4!
My Vision: To write profound faith-based screenplays that are produced.
What I learned: Writing the first draft at 30% gives incredible freedom to keep going and finish, knowing I will be back to make it better.
How it is going for me: Woohoo! Draft 1 in the bag!! -
WIM+AI – Module 5 – Lesson 14
Robin’s: Finish up Act 4! 6 – 10 pages!
MY VISION: I aim to make my writing flow naturally, like second nature, crafting stories that resonate globally and leave a mark, backed by a supportive team.
What I Learned
Finishing is everything. Messy or, well, messy! There’s plenty of time to fix things and drop things later.Today I Celebrate
I finished my very rough draft of Memory Alpha. It’s 103 pages long and as crappy as heck, but I couldn’t be happier. My resolution scene turned into something even better than I imagined. My story is about redemption, and wow, was I redeemed.
I pitched an arc of my supporting character to one of my country club members—she’s a big fan. When I got to the last scene, she got goosebumps and had that look of surprise. Then she smiled real big and complimented me, saying I was clever. I’ll take it!
Now, I’m going to print this beast and have a laugh. For my first read, I’m going to tie my hands and be a hundred miles from my red pen. I just want to see what I gave birth to. I know it’ll be all over the place, but that’s what we’ve been told throughout this module. I totally had fun.-

Deni B. Sher has finished ACT 4.
The essence of my vision is to become an A-list writer, respected in the industry and in high demand by producers for the quality of my work.
To be honest, I veered off my outline because I was very much behind on doing my outline and hurried to catch up and didn’t do the BEST job in the outline, so when need be, I veered off which felt like the correct thing to do for my story. BUT having put in all the work before beginning to write was awesome and using AI was awesome for coming up with out of the box ideas when need be. Loved it. So glad I learned how to use AI.

David Z Has Finished Act 4!
Vision:
I am an interesting, dependable, successful writer that people love to work with. What I learned from doing this assignment is it’s okay to put notes in the script to fill out later… just get her done!
I finished yesterday… obviously needs a lot of work but I celebrated – I lifted both arms in the air and said yay! you did it! It felt anti-climactic but I’ve gotten so much better at allowing myself to write fast, put comments in the script for things to revisit later and put in 30% good dialog that will be revised down the line… but I’m finished!

James Has Finished Act 4!
My Vision: I am a great writer who is recognized by the industry as an exceptional collaborator able to elevate any project into production and have maximum success.
What I learned from doing this assignment is…that I’m a faster writer now. I still have the tendency to go on small tangents with nuances and story details. Then it’s just a matter of stopping myself or writing down a quick note to be used at a later time. But finishing the first draft feels awesome, as I equate it to completing a marathon. At the beginning you don’t see the finish line, but as you keep chugging along it gets more and more doable and suddenly you set yourself up for the final sprint. The gut check, done!

This felt so good. It was a quite a sprint to get to the end, but I celebrated with a bottle of wine and then went to LA to see my friend's short film at the LA Shorts festival!

Terrie Finished Act 4
actually I finished Saturday afternoon but this was my first chance to get to the forums and post.
What I learned is that I usually have a good vision of my endings but my 4th act is weak, needs more build up.
I hope I can improve these elements in the next draft.
I certainly celebrated being done. -

What I learned from this assignment was finishing my first draft felt so rewarding!
