Margaret’s Next Act 1 Scenes
My Vision: To write profound faith-based screenplays that are produced.
What I learned: I have been into the editing of drafts during the BWTV class – forgot what it felt like to just freely write! Nice change!
How it is going: I’ve written 18 pages – well into ACT 1! -

To create scripts freely when working with producers, directors and cast, and sell award-winning work to create a lifestyle confident of financial freedom. What I learned from doing this assignment is:
The journey continues. Definitely liberating – but on reflection my scene seem short and snappy. Must be my Advertising background… Any film over 60seconds is huge!-

my scenes are really short too! I think they’ll beef up during rewrites… but at 20 pages my outline seems to be at the end of Act 2!

Subject: Monica’s Next Act 1 Scenes
What I learned doing this assignment is to just write. However, I have noticed that I can combine some scenes – which I can correct in later drafts.
VISION: I am a very successful screenwriter who has had multiple movies made.
Tell us how it is going for you. It’s going well. Get in the zone and keep writing.

Mike’s Act 1 Scenes
My Vision is to write an original screenplay, make a couple of calls to pitch it, to start a bidding war.
This lesson proves that it takes longer to do 6-10 pages, but I guess this is what you want us to learn. I am getting used to leaving placeholders with an idea, but the little squiggly line under the misspelled words still has to go.

David Z’s Next Act 1 Scenes
Vision:
I am an interesting, dependable, successful writer that people love to work with. What I learned from doing this assignment is that it’s not getting easier… the words struggle to come out, but I’m pushing through and trying to ignore the 30% quality of this draft and continue to write… but I have a lot of resistance!

Pat's Next Act 1 Scenes
My vision is to have fun completing this class with a contest-winning script that will establish me as a courageous and original writer.
What I’ve learned is that I’m enjoying high speed writing and putting the days of backtracking, editing, reeditng and seeking perfection with every word behind me. My characters continue to surprise me with their dialog. I’;ve thought of a couple scenes that could be added. But I will not do that. I make a note about them as I stick to the outline.

Pam Ewing’s Next Act 1 Scenes
Vision: Become a Writing Athlete
What I’ve learned: Today was just doing it. No inspiration or greatness hit the page. But I’ve believing that will happen later and that I am advancing. -
James’ Next Act 1 Scenes
My Vision: I am a great writer who is recognized by the industry as an exceptional collaborator able to elevate any project into production and have maximum success.
What I learned from doing this assignment is…if I force myself to write quickly following the outline I tend to think about the details of the story. This can be problematic because it slows me down and veers me into a sort of perfectionist mode. But if I remind myself in the moment that I’ll be rewriting the script through many drafts then I’m reassured any concerns will be addressed.

Lee’s continuing Act 1
My Vision: I am a writer who is excellent, recognized as such by people in the industry, and has several projects sold for WGA-type fees and some of those produced and successful in the theater and/or on a major streamer.
What I’m learning is that I have a good outline, and I’m being careful to stick with it. I already see things that I want to change, but I’m not doing that. Just sticking with it and plowing forward. I like the story so far. And still haven’t gone back and read what I’ve written yet. :).

(Your Name) Next Act 1 Scenes
Vision: I am paid to write screenplays that become successful movies. My process is so solid I can enjoy my equestrian hobby while exceeding expectations with my writing.
What I learned is that I can write comedy scenes that are longer (5-6 pages) than some of my other scenes. That’s a good length for a comedy scene but overall I’m pretty sure my outline is too short. -
ED's Next Act 1 Scenes
MY VISION is to be a bankable, reputable, and industry go-to writer who’s demonstrated how to entertain and hold an audience’s attention through unforgettable characters and stories that are as enjoyable to write as they are to watch.
What I learned doing this assignment is noticing where additional and future scene will help bridge the story line and add more information to my act one which will better support the reveals in act 2. -
Sunil Pappu’s Next Act 1 Scenes
My Vision: I’m a successful produced writer who specializes in female-led thrillers.
“What I learned from doing this assignment is… to continue to power through the outline using the high-speed rules. I empowered myself when I felt the story was weak or this was not a great idea or I didn’t know this world and just gave myself permission to write a bad first draft. I stuck to the outline and finished the next 10 pages in a day to complete ACT 1.

WIM+AI – Module 5 – Lesson 4
Robin’s: Continue Act 1. Next 6 – 10 PagesMY VISION: I aim to make my writing flow naturally, like second nature, crafting stories that resonate globally and leave a mark, backed by a supportive team.
What I learned in this lesson is this new method of writing, "quick writing”, really moves the process along at a pace I’ve never encountered. It’s been quite freeing allowing me to become a creative force for my story. I have to admit, I was skeptical at first, now I’m a fan.My thought process for these scenes was to get them out as quickly as possible. Having the knowledge to build a scene is helpful and so working my WIM + AI outline, made it really easy to punch out a few more scenes. My Act 1 has turned into something I’m anxious to rewrite – making my first ten pages the strongest I can possibly write.

Dawn C Crouch Next Act 1 Scenes
I am learning to write three-dimensional stories that connect with producers and resonate with my audience.
What I learned from doing this assignment is that writing to the outline and pitch keeps you grounded in this first draft. I’ve been a pantser all my life and yet I can work within this outline during this early draft without going off on tangents. Refreshing!!
