    • Weaknesses? Another sore spot. This thing has no weak spot but needs a rare Kryptonite like substance to surive. How do they find out.
    • Plan/Purpose/Appetite? The creature crash landed in an Alabama swamp. Her co-pilot broke his neck, he may come back to life, but doubt it. Requires this rare chemical. She will rustShe discovered she was on earth, and this seems like a good time to analyze it for whatever benefit. But it may entail killing the five before she takes off.
    B. Sequence the reveals. Five astrophyscists met at a weekend retreat in the woods. When they arrived, they found Velma, a caretaker they didn’t expect and for some reason were not told about her. She said she is working on a degree from UAB. Velma is the creature in sheep’s clothing.

SUBJECT: The alien girl takes the name Brenda, says she is the housekeeper, hired to see that the new gadgets run correctly. She is tech versed, with a degree in Astrophysics from UGA. Leader wondering why he was not notified if your presence.

    1. Tell us your Concept and the Group you have chosen. Alien crash lands on Earth one co-pilot dead. The other uses powers to become convincing woman who speaks language and breaks into a well-appointed home in the Alabama woods just off the Aerospace campus. A group of five scientists plan to spend a weekend at the house unaware of the unexpected visitor.
    2. Tell us the Dying Pattern of this movie. Kill characters one by one, without revealing the killer, but two survive.
    3. Give us an Identity and a sentence for each character that makes up your group. VP of Mars Human Probe, Chris. She’s the leader of the group. Second in command and her love interest is Sheila. All six are brilliant minds. Terence is the doubting Thomas convinced Mars mission is a pipe dream, but his math comprehension skills are invaluable. Braden volunteered to be among initial set of astronauts; he’s gung-ho. Hendy, the lone black guy has mixed feelings about the mission. It’s a cost factor not a skill factor. He wants to prove he belongs. Frederick or Freddy, known as the collector. His job is to map landing and travel stations for more relevant locations.
Example: Leader: Without much consideration, Mike sets a direction, then inspires or pushes the group to go there. Hopefully, he guesses the right direction.
    4. Answer the question “What I learned doing this assignment is…?” and put it at the top of your work. How the group will not only act as a match for the alien skill set but learn more than any computer printout. Of course, if the alien is a blood-thirsty monster such learning is out the window.

Comparisons: Alien with a monster with an advanced brain and a degree,

    • Terrorize The Characters: There is a suspicion on the part of one couple that something isn’t right. The girl and the guy of the other couple discover hidden cameras in the shower, which begins the downward spiral.
    • Isolation: No neighbors and a dark road and a steep drop to the ocean
    • Death: Caretaker and all four stars perish.
    • Monster/Villain: There seems to be two villains but we never see who they are or ID them.
    • High Tension: The killing of the four stars happens somewhat quickly and at the end.
    • Departure from Reality: The location, the four unexplained murders
    • Moral Statement: A girl from one couple cheated on her husband with the guy from the other couple. They also disposed of the caretaker body thinking they killed him when they did not. Tey should have called police.

The dog was the first missing creature. The ad clearly said no pets but the couple didn’t care. The dog turns up at the end.

The villain puts new cameras in the shower and elsewhere and new tenants arrive for his jollies. One woman puts a mask on her honey.
