Hi, everyone. I’m Chris.

I’ve written two feature-length scripts. I’ve only done a little series work on an assignment – writing a pilot and season outline for a series with episodes around 10 minutes long.

I have a project that I’ve been researching and developing as a feature, but lately I’ve been thinking a limited series might be a better way to tell the story and want to develop it in this class.

I’m from Southern California, but have lived in NYC, DC, and FL over the last couple years (mostly due to my wife’s grad school programs). We are moving back to CA in the fall.

My grandma was in a Coast Guard show with Sid Cesar and Victor Mature before working in Hollywood for 40 years (as a secretary/assistant to various producers) and my dad had small parts in shows/movies/commercials as a kid, but they were out of the business for decades before I started writing. My wife is a singer and actress who performed for Disney Cruise Line (and has a Master’s from NYU).

I made a deal with my MSC/Pro-Series script and have a couple other projects on the horizon as a result (one spec, one adaptation assignment). All have investors lined up, but are waiting for the funding to come through. I’ve also written a pitch deck for another feature project.
