Hi Everyone, I’m Darlene Elsbury but in the group feed, I may appear as Hollidar.

I’m a little late to the binge worthy party because while class started this week, a serious accident forced my son-in-law to be hospitalized and bedridden until knee surgery that, hopefully, will spare his leg and future mobility. My daughter, as a new mom, needed help with the baby while she adapted to being a full-time caregiver for her husband now, too.

2. I’ve written three feature scripts with the help of Screenwriting U (two dramas, one a buddy comedy), one TV pilot (also a comedy), and have three biopic projects in-progress (two of which have the potential of being binge worthy as a series).

3. What you hope to get out of the class? A TV series that’s binge worthy and produced.

4. Something unusual about me?

I live and sleep with horses. Not champion horses, but rather rescued horses, injured horses, retirees, or what some might consider “high maintenance junk” or “lawn ornaments” and therefore would promptly euthanize them as if they have no worth or value. To me, they have therapeutic value and they’re family. I purchased my first horse in 2005, an injured/retired racehorse who chose me and changed my life forever. One of my scripts is about horse racing and racehorses, inspired by my first mare and my father.
