Hi everyone, I’m Jessica. I have written 5 1/2 scripts.
I intend to get my creative process from stories running around in my brain to actual sellable screenplays from what I learn in this class.
Unique? I started my desire to write screenplays when I was living in Australia. My good friend, who was also my children’s music teacher, wanted to teach them about how words in songs can bring out emotion. She knew I wrote PR and training manuals and thought maybe I could help her out. Until then, I was stuck on writing the facts, not dialogue or creative pieces. Oh, and I was a talent agent in Australia!

Taking Action and Empowerment. I recently decided to look back at some old work and actually LIKED my story. It felt GOOD to read what I’ve written and clean it up a bit. I missed the creative process because I was so busy trying to get everything else done. I am now committed to empowering myself by taking action every day. I’m going to Start my day writing, not waiting until the end of the day, when I have time after all of my other responsibilities, to do the thing that I actually love doing and want to make my source of income, not just a fantasy hobby.
