Yeah, I know I said I wasn’t going to post… necessarily. Partial answer: What I learned. Having pulled out the elements of my script that I thought were most interesting, or hooks, I will probably have to do another script rewrite to maybe point up those elements a little more, to make sure they really are as “hookish” as I know they can be.

NOT AGREE. “I’ll do the class privately.” It’s not that I think my ideas and concepts are all that as much as it’s simply that my time is extremely limited. I’ve taken other classes in the past but have not posted my homework assignments so it probably seems like I’m sloughing off and not doing the work at all. So I’m putting up the privacy notice more to explain that seeming lack of participation.

Regardless, I will keep the strategies, teleconferences, communications, lessons, and models of the class confidential.

I'm John. Hi everybody. I've written maybe a dozen or so scripts with another 4 or 5 in various stages of completion. Sold a couple (so I'm WGA) that never made it out of Development Hell. Others have placed in Big Break (Quarter-finalist, Top Ten) Austin Film Festival (Semi-finalist) and some Semi-finalist placements in other competitions I don't remember. I'm here because you can never sell too many scripts and with that much product sitting on the shelf, I'm obviously not doing something right. My right leg is an inch shorter than my left (which almost kept me out of the draft) but my right foot is a quarter inch longer than my left. (And you thought you had trouble buying a pair of shoes.)

I agree to the terms of this release form. (I don’t get it. Am I supposed to cut and paste the entire release form here? Why don’t I just check either a box that says “Agree” or another box that says “Don’t Agree”?
