I wonder if the explanation of your theme is a bit daunting for some people, like me, who do not know all the scientific terminology/words you use in the description. I looked up the word ‘dystopian’ and found the meaning to be as follows:

relating to or denoting an imagined state or society where there is great suffering or injustice.” the dystopian future of a society bereft of reason”

Similar: nightmarish, terrifying, gloomy, hellish, totalitarian, scary, science-fiction

a person who imagines or foresees a state or society where there is great suffering or injustice.
It is probably excellent if you can find exactly the right learned recipient.

Wow! Yer gotta be joking! You have a superb talent for persuading big names to shake your hand! I’ve had a few famous contacts too. Mine were Stephen Hawking, A Chief Constable who asked me to paint his portrait, as did a University Chancellor, and I shook hands with Prince Phillip at an exhibition.
